Chapter 41: Chapter 41 Alchemist Park Lily 1
"Young Master Blaze, my friend here has been wild from her time with the Spirit Hunting Group. Please forgive her." Karthik sighed and said with a bitter smile.
Spirit Hunting Group?
Upon hearing this, Blaze Regret had a moment of realization. The Spirit Hunting Group was an organization specialized in hunting spirit beasts, mainly dealing in spirit cores and capturing spirit beasts. He had interacted quite a bit with the hunters from these groups who dealt with his family.
These people were usually wild and unruly, believing in nothing but absolute strength. Even if they angered members of prominent families, they could easily hide in the mountains and continue their livelihood elsewhere.
"You scions of these prominent families have no other skills than bullying the weak," Ken Aina scoffed disdainfully.
Blaze Regret couldn't help but laugh and touch the tip of his nose, feeling a bit helpless. It seemed that Ken Aina had quite a prejudice against the children of influential families.
Shaking his head, Blaze Regret turned to the attendant beside him, "Where is Park Lily?"
A flicker of astonishment crossed Ken Aina's eyes before she quickly sneered, "Karthik, I've always said that these family scions are good for nothing but pretending to be tough. Look at him, getting all riled up just because of a few words from me."
"Master Park Lily is in the Alchemist District. Only alchemists are allowed to enter there," the attendant pointed to a part of the Alchemist District, smiling wryly.
"Thank you," Blaze Regret nodded and began walking towards the district.
"Is he really going there?" Seeing this, Ken Aina was visibly taken aback for a moment, then sneered, "Karthik, how about a bet? I bet that within twenty breaths, he'll be thrown out."
"Young Master Blaze, you mustn't!" The attendant was startled and quickly followed him.
A first rank alchemist wouldn't care about Blaze Regret's status as the Young Master of the Blaze family. Even the heads of the four major families would have to treat them with utmost respect.
"It's alright."
Under the anxious gaze of the attendant, Blaze Regret pushed open the tightly closed wooden door and disappeared from everyone's view.
"Overestimating oneself," Ken Aina crossed her arms and watching the creaking wooden door closing. His eyes gleamed with a mix of delight in others' misfortune.
Creak~
As Blaze Regret entered the Alchemist District, his vision was immediately filled with a thick white mist. The rich scent of herbs wafted through the air, lifting his spirits.
It was evident that an alchemist had been refining pills in this area for many years, which caused the lingering fragrance of medicinal pills.
In the depths of the white mist, an old man was frowning deeply as he stared intently at the pill cauldron in front of him. His right hand was tightly clenched, holding a misshapen pill that was clearly a defective product.
"Who are you, and who allowed you to come in here?"
As soon as Blaze Regret entered, a young man beside the old alchemist stepped forward, angrily pointing at Blaze Regret. "Get out! Do you know where you are? This is not a place you can enter!"
The young man's angry voice echoed, but the old man seemed oblivious, his cloudy old eyes still fixed unblinkingly on the pill cauldron.
"Empty Soul Pill?"
In Blaze Regret's mind, a recipe for a pill suddenly emerged. It was the formula and process for refining the first grade Empty Soul Pill, causing his thoughts to become exceptionally clear in an instant.
Yesterday, Master Magi had tossed a pile of pill recipes to Blaze Regret as if discarding trash. Among them was the recipe for the Empty Soul Pill.
With a faint smile in his heart, Blaze Regret immediately understood the old man's problem. With the help of the Medicine Emperor's seed, he could effortlessly grasp the making of first grade pills.
"Get out of here, now!" The young man walked up to Blaze Regret, pointing at his nose and cursing.
Creak!
In response, Blaze Regret didn't show any restraint. He raised his hand, grabbed the young man's finger, and gave it a slight twist.
"Ah!"
The young man screamed in pain, his face contorted as he shouted, "Do you know who I am? I am Master Park Lily's pill apprentice. Offend me, and there will be no place for you in the entire Veloria City. Your family will also be implicated!"
Raising an eyebrow, Blaze Regret looked up with a faint smile and said softly, "Really? Let me tell you a story. My father is Blaze Ash. I'd love to see how you plan to implicate me."
Hearing this, the young man instantly fell silent. Although alchemists held a noble status, Blaze Ash's power was well known. Even Park Lily wouldn't dare say such a thing, let alone an ordinary pill apprentice.
"Kamil, come back."
Park Lily finally lifted his eyelids, somewhat displeased, and said, "Leave a way out for people, didn't Blaze Ash teach you that?"
"Hehe, my father didn't teach me that. He only told me to eradicate the roots when cutting the weeds and not to show mercy to enemies I can eliminate," Blaze Regret spread his hands and smiled.
Initially, he had planned to speak politely with Park Lily, but now it seemed completely unnecessary. The arrogance of alchemists made Park Lily maintain a constant sense of superiority, as if his apprentice had every right to curse at Blaze Regret.
"Don't you know that only alchemists are allowed in here?" Park Lily's face instantly darkened.
"Yes, I know. The Azure Spirit Liquid from a while back was sold by me," Blaze Regret pulled over a chair and sat down boldly, staring at Park Lily.
"Hehe, I heard the Blaze family recruited an alchemist. No wonder you have the confidence to disrespect me. So, your future supply of spirit liquid is guaranteed, huh?"
Blaze Regret merely smiled noncommittally. Respect is mutual, but it seemed Park Lily had misunderstood some things.
Gently pushing aside the pill furnace in front of him, Park Lily's face showed a proud expression. "I saw that Azure Spirit Liquid. It was made by a half baked alchemist. His skills are not yet enough to be considered qualified."
