"How do you still have more!"

Panic finally appeared on Snow Amar's old face. The Withered Wood Demon's greatest weakness was its speed. If the Flame Burst Fruit were thrown their way, they would be nothing but sitting ducks.

Thus, Snow Amar quickly looked behind him but saw the Ghost faced Snake still clinging to the tree branch and Pit Rock fleeing in the opposite direction. Despair filled his heart.

"Brat, even if I die, I'll drag you down with me!" Snow Amar roared with a ferocious expression. "Withered Wood Demon, Giant Wood Stomp, crush that brat into meat paste!"

Tree roots rapidly coiled together, forming a massive foot. The Withered Wood Demon used its trunk to support its heavy body and stomped down towards the path the Ice Control Irenix was about to take.

As the wind rushed from the front, Blaze Regret's eyes flashed. The Scorching Flame Cat on his shoulder quickly reverted from its Cat state back into the Blue Flame Demon Cat. Using its tail, it wrapped around the Flame Burst Fruit and leaped down.

"Rumble!"

As the Ice Control Irenix forcibly altered its trajectory with Blaze Regret on its back, the Blue Flame Demon Cat flicked its tail, sending the Flame Burst Fruit rolling to the exact spot where the Withered Wood Demon was about to stomp. The Blue Flame Demon Cat itself transformed into a red light and was reabsorbed into Blaze Regret's spirit portal.

"Go stomp in hell!"

Blaze Regret's hearty laughter pierced the night sky. Behind him, a surging wave of fire, like a small mushroom cloud, rose into the air.

Boom!

The explosive fruit burst apart, and the withered wood demon's hard trunk instantly shattered into pieces. Waves of faint red energy ripples spread out.

A few moments later, both the withered wood demon and Snow Amar had disappeared from the scene. On the ground, weak flames burned on the chaotic pile of broken wood.

"Do you still want to continue?"

Blaze Regret leaped down from the back of the Ice Control Irenix, his cold gaze fixed directly on the Ghost Snake Elder.

"Why not?"

After pondering for a moment, the Ghost Snake Elder squinted his old eyes and grinned, revealing his yellowed teeth. "The power of the explosive fruit is indeed strong, but how many do you have left? Let me guess, there shouldn't be any left in your space stone now, right?"

"How do you know?" Blaze Regret smiled faintly, but a cold glint flickered in his eyes.

"Because those three explosive fruits were sold to Dark Spirit Tower by none other than me," the Ghost Snake Elder laughed, looking at Blaze Regret as if he were a rabbit unable to escape.

"So, stand still obediently, and I might leave your body intact as an explanation to Blaze Ash."

As the Ghost Snake Elder's sinister voice fell, the ghost faced Snake swiftly slide up the tree, brought up a large shadow, and thunderously descended toward Blaze Regret's position.

"Boom!"

The shattered tree trunk struck the Black Tortoise shell, causing it to tremble. Blaze Regret, behind the shell, quickly retreated but was still shaken, causing his blood to surge and a sharp bloodstain to appear quietly at the corner of his mouth.

"I'd like to see how many attacks that tortoise shell of yours can withstand."

The Ghost Snake Elder's eyes were icy. "Ghost faced Snake, use the Demon breaking Tail to crush this kid!"

"Hiss!"

The ghost faced Snake raised its tail, and a dense green spiritual energy quickly spread over it, making the entire tail look as though it had been soaked in poison.

In the next moment, the ghost faced Snake's green tail tore through the air, creating a green arc of light, and struck the Black Tortoise shell in front of Blaze Regret solidly.

A loud thud echoed as the Ice Control Irenix, bearing the weight of the shell, was knocked back dozens of meters before it managed to stabilize. Behind it, Blaze Regret spat out a mouthful of blood, his face turning pale.

Indeed, the Black Tortoise Shell could withstand a full strength blow from a Imperial grade spirit beast, but Blaze Regret himself was merely a spirit warrior. Even if the ghost faced Snake didn't kill him, the immense force transmitted through the shell would soon shake him to death.

"Boom!"

Seeing that his attack was effective, the Ghost Snake Elder revealed a faint smile, then commanded the ghost faced Snake to continuously pound on the Black Torties shell. The heavy thuds echoed through the night, spreading for kilometers around.

"It's at its limit," Blaze Regret murmured to himself. As he was struck out again by the ghost faced Snake, he waved his hand, and the Ice Control Irenix transformed into a blue light, returning to the spirit portal. The Black Torties shell, after spinning a few times, was also stored back into the void realm stone.

"Finally giving up the struggle, are we?" The Ghost Snake Elder smiled broadly. Just as he was about to let the ghost faced Snake deliver the final blow to Blaze Regret, a blade of energy wind sliced through the air, roaring towards Blaze Regret.

"Heh heh, I knew you hadn't left. Since that's the case, I'll leave this kid's life to you," the Ghost Snake Elder said, looking up to see Pit Rock, his face twisted with murderous intent, with a storm demon floating beside him. It was the storm demon that had released the energy wind blade.

This storm demon was much weaker than the Wind Eagle, only of mid eighth tier spirit warrior, but it was more than enough to kill Blaze Regret.

Calmly watching the approaching energy wind blade, Blaze Regret softly chanted, "I told you from the beginning, the roles of hunter and prey have been reversed. It's just that before the hunter kills the prey, they always like to toy with them a bit."

"Stop pretending to be mysterious," scoffed Pit Rock dismissively.

"Crash!"

Just as the energy wind blade was about to hit Blaze Regret, a metallic gleam flashed, and a hook like claw suddenly extended out, snapping shut and instantly shattering the energy wind blade.
