Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Group Date



[3rd POV] [The Next Day]

It was the day after Gwen had put Korra in her place, and made her understand that she won't take her bullshit any longer. And all that had happened during that time, was more training with Korra, and Korra actually improving a bit, for once.

At the moment, Gwen was in the City, walking through the city with the girls. On a group date, something they hadn't done yet.

"So where are we going?" Artemis asked, a smile on her face at the fact that they were going on their first group date. Something they had wanted to try out for a while now.

"I was thinking we could try some of the local cuisine. Or, I can teleport us to another Nation. The Earth kingdom could be an interesting visit, especially Zaofu. The city looks like an interesting piece of Architecture" Gwen replied, remembering Zaofu from later in the series. Zaofu was a rather interesting City State, that was home to the Metal Clan, and it's leader, Suyin Beifong. The city itself housed a LOT of renowned metal benders, and the city itself was largely made up of different metals, like Platinum. All in all, it was quite the advanced city, in comparison to the rest of the world.

"Oooh, that could be interesting!" M'gann said with an excited smile, finding Zaofu to be an interesting place to visit.

"I say we try some local cuisine this time, and then visit Zaofu next time. As I'd love to try the local food first, as we haven't tried it yet" Raven said, causing Gwen to look to the other girls.

"Are you two okay with that? Next time we go on a group date, I'll take all of you to Zaofu, and even show off some metal bending too" Gwen asked, causing the two to nod with smiles.

"That's fine with me"

"Same with me"

"Where do you three want to go? We can go to a fancy restaurant like Kwong's Cuisine, or we can go to a local place, something more like Street Food" Gwen asked, looking to the girls.

The three looked to one another, before smiling "Street Food sounds good. Kwong's Cuisine seems...a bit too fancy for our tastes" M'gann said, causing Gwen to nod.

"Well then, let's find some local dishes, shall we?"

Turns out there was a LOT of different dishes in Republic City, that couldn't be found in their world.

There was Turtle Duck Skewers, Turtle Crab Noodles, and Lobster Crab chowder. The third dish being the best of the bunch by far. Well, in Gwen's opinion at least.

Artemis quite liked the Skewers, while Raven loved the noodles, while M'gann agreed with Gwen on the Lobster Crab Chowder being the best.

Gwen got several ideas for future dishes, using the different ingredients native to this world. Some of which she made sure to buy a good bit of them, several pounds of each at that. Something that put a tiny dent in her wealth, but not enough to cause any issues for her.

The girls had also bought some sweets and desserts that they planned on trying once they got back home. Home, as in the apartment that Gwen ended up buying as of recent. A large apartment that was an entire floor, and more than enough space for them.

"Where do you wanna go next?" Gwen asked, looking to the girls. M'gann was sipping on some Watermelon Juice, while Artemis had a small bottle of Cherry-Berry Lemonade, and Raven had a tea.

Before the girls could respond, a very recognizable voice sounded out. "Gwen?"

Hearing the voice, Gwen blinked and turned, finding Korra standing there in slight surprise.

"Oh, hey Korra" Gwen said, giving her a small wave and smile.

"What're you doing?" Korra asked, glancing at the girls in confusion.

"I'm on a date" Gwen responded with a smile, causing Korra to blink in surprise.

"With who?" Korra asked, looking to the three unknown girls. All of which were...quite attractive.

"All three of them. They're my Girlfriends, Korra" Gwen responded with an amused smile as Korra's jaw dropped.

"You-You're with three different people? Is that even allowed?" Korra asked, confused as hell, and very surprised. As she didn't see Gwen as the type to date several people, nor did she see her as someone who was attracted to the same sex.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Yep! I looked into the laws of the Republic City, and there's no law against Polygamy" Gwen replied, as she did indeed looking into it. Mostly because she didn't want to deal with the potential annoyances that could sprout up from that sort of thing. Not that she would give a damn.

"And-And you three are okay with all sharing someone?" Korra asked, still surprised and quite confused.

"Yep! I'm Megan, by the way" M'gann said, giving Korra her Human name.

"Artemis" Artemis said simply.

"And I am Raven" Raven said with a small nod.

"Um-Well it's nice to meet you three. Sorry If I was rude, I was just a bit...shocked, that's all" Korra replied, knowing that if she kept being rude, then Gwen would make her training even

more hellish.

"It's alright. It'd be shocking to most normal people" Gwen responded with a shrug, as it was definitely different than the normal, so it wasn't entirely surprising that Korra acted so shocked. At least she apologized for it, something Gwen was happy about, as it showed Korra's attitude towards her was definitely improving.

"And what're you doing, Korra?"

"Oh! I was trying to find my friend, Bolin. He's sort of missing and we can't find him" Korra responded, a slightly worried look on her face.

Hearing this, the group all looked at one another, before looking back to Korra.

"How can we help?" Gwen asked, causing Korra to look at her in surprise.

"You want to help? But you were on a date" Korra said, confused.

"Yeah well, the date was fun, but I think finding saving this friend of yours is more important. Plus, the date was coming to an end soon anyways" Artemis replied, her hero side coming out. When there was an innocent in danger, none of the girls would hesitate to help, as heroes

would.

"I-Thank you, really" Korra said, a genuine smile on her face.

Gwen at this, gave her a smile of her own, before speaking.

"Now, where was the last place you saw this friend of yours?"

It was mostly a intermission/interlude chapter with a small date in there. Mainly because I'm

still doing research into martial arts, and rewatching the show in full.

Next chapter should be longer, and will have her getting some new quest or two.
