In Lucas's room.

'I hope the white tiger evolves into a winged white tiger as it would increase its battle prowess to the next level.'

While sitting on his bed, Lucas thought about the normal white tiger that was evolving in the guardian lair.

Actually, Lucas wanted to stay in the guardian lair until the white tiger finished her evolution; however, she didn't show any sign of evolution, causing Lucas and others to conclude that the evolution would take a lot of time.

Since tomorrow is a big day for them and Silverstone town, they decided to take some rest for the night.

With that thought in their minds, both Lucas and Beck returned to their rooms and thought to maximize the usage of items in their inventory.

'Let's check the heaven grade spirit beast's egg.'

Lucas had used almost all the items that increased his strength. So, he thought of checking the spirit beast and if possible, he wanted to hatch it as he was curious about the spirit beast inside it.

With that thought in his head, Lucas summoned the black coloured egg that was around the same size as a quail egg.

'Huh? It is so small.'

Lucas didn't expect the egg to be so small.

Even though Lucas knew it was not rare for the spirit beasts' egg to be this small, he didn't expect the heaven ranked spirit beast's egg to be this small.

The egg was pitch black with small grey spots on it.

'Since it needs the energy to hatch, I will give it a little and see.'

In the information he read about the spirit beast egg, it was clearly mentioned that the egg would hatch as long as he provided the required amount of energy.

Soon, he started injecting the assassin energy because among the three professions he was currently focusing on, Assassin sea was much bigger than the other two professions' sea.

'Huh? Nothing happened?'

Lucas only injected 100 units of assassin energy because he didn't want to accidentally overflow the egg with his energy which might destroy the egg.

However, 100 units of the assassin energy didn't even make the quail-sized egg budge a little, making Lucas raise his brows as he opened the information on the egg to check the progress bar for the egg's hatching.

'Ding,

          The required energy for hatching the egg:- 0 / 100 percent.

'What? Not even 0.1 percent?'

Lucas was surprised for a moment when he saw that the progress bar was still empty; however, when he thought about the origins of the spirit beast egg, he was no longer surprised as he directly injected more units of assassin energy.

Since Lucas didn't have to worry about the assassin's energy because of the dark ember fruits, he didn't mind spending it on hatching the egg.

'Ding,

          1000 units of assassin energy are injected into the egg.

'Ding,

          The required energy for hatching the egg:- 0 / 100 percent.

Soon, he received the two system notifications; however, when he saw them, he was shocked because even 1000 units of assassin energy didn't even make the progress bar increase by a decimal.

'Looks like it needs at least a million units of energy to hatch; however, currently, I can't expend any more energy on you.'

Initially, he thought he could hatch the egg within 10000 units of assassin energy and use the dark ember fruits to recover his assassin sea; however, after learning that the egg needs an ocean of energy, he could only give up as he didn't want to waste dark ember fruits anymore.

'Even if I use my 50 plus dark ember fruits, I can hatch it. So, I will pour some energy daily.'

His 90 plus dark ember fruits decreased by 40 because he gifted them to some talented assassins and a couple of dark mages who could increase their dark mage sea using the dark ember fruits.

He wanted to save them for exchanging in the [Exchange tab] and also, for emergency purposes.

'For now, go and rest in the inventory.'

With that thought in his head, Lucas sent the egg back into the special column of the inventory where he could store the eggs.

'I am really hoping for the day it hatches.'

As a heaven grade spirit beast's egg, it raised Lucas' expectations to a very high level.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, the morning came.

Lucas, Beck and everyone who can fight in Silverstone town were ready for the evil portals to open.

Currently, Lucas, Beck and the top echelon of Silverstone town were standing on the town wall whereas others were sitting on the grounds while waiting for Lucas' orders to attack the evil spirit beasts.

'Ding,

          The disaster 'Three rank 5 evil portals' is about to start. Please be prepared to fight the evil spirit beasts that come out of the portal.

'Ding,

        As long as the host closes all these evil portals, the disaster would be concluded.

Soon, Lucas received the system notifications in his head as he revealed a slight smile on his face.

'I am ready for it already.'

Compared to the time when Lucas selected the disaster and read the information about it, he was very confident in killing all the evil spirit beasts.

So, of course, he would have a smile on his face because it was an opportunity for him to increase the grade of his family.

So, he replied to the system with a confident smile on his face as he shouted, "Everyone, be prepared to rush out of the town at any time."

"Yes, family head."

No one showed any hesitation in calling Lucas, an 18-year-old boy as a family head as they obediently nodded their heads.

"Also, I know no one is thinking of hiding inside the town because once the three evil portals are opened, the barrier that was protecting us will be gone along with my invincible prowess. So, go all out and I promise you that we will be willing this fight and receive great benefits from the heavens."

"However, if you don't want to fight, this is your time. Go and hide in the formation created by Wilfred along with the children, old and disabled."

Lucas was not forcing anyone because he was confident in taking care of the evil spirit beasts with his main forces; however, if more people worked together, the low-level evil spirit beasts could be taken care of easily.

"We are waiting for your orders, family head."

However, no one backed off as they shouted, showing how excited they were for the fight against the evil spirit beasts.

As for Wilfred, that Lucas mentioned was the old man whom he saved in the 'Myriad primordial forest'. He was a quasi rank 5 formation master betrayed by the weapons pavilion.

After Lucas saved him, Wilfred acknowledged Lucas as someone whom he could follow and take revenge on not only a single branch of the weapons pavilion but on all the branches of the weapons pavilion.

'Even though Wilfred could create quasi-rank 5 formations, when it comes to battle prowess, he can't even defeat Reece and Harper. So, it is better for him to just stay inside his formation along with those who can't fight.'

Every town has a few people who can't fight because of their age or disability or lack of strength. So, Lucas ordered Wilfred to create a formation that could withstand the attacks of rank 4 evil spirit beasts, as rank 5 evil spirit beasts would not walk past the main force.

'As for the white tiger, she is still in the guardian lair, yet to finish her evolution. I hope she completes her evolution as soon as possible and joins the fight to finish this disaster as soon as possible.'

Next Lucas thought about the normal white tiger who was undergoing her evolution.

'Swoosh'

Soon, Lucas saw the appearance ofo the first portal to his north side of the town.

'Swoosh'

At the same time, another evil portal appeared to the west side and finally a slightly bigger evil portal compared to the other two portals appeared on the east side of the town which was right in front of the entrance of the town.

"Everyone, the portals appeared and they are opening slowly. The evil spirit beasts might come out at any time now."

It was Reece who shouted and asked everyone to get ready.

'Swoosh'

Within a few moments, the three evil portals were fully opened; however, no evil spirit beast came out of it.

'Boom'

Dense black-coloured energies came out of the three evil portals at the same time and the energy rushed at the barrier before creating three huge explosions at three places.

'Ding,

          The barrier guarding Silverstone town is destroyed and it will make your invincible prowess in Silverstone town disappear.

Soon, Lucas received a system notification which he had already expected.. So he was not surprised at all; instead, he shouted, "Let's start."
