Sovereign of the Firmaments

Slayer lynx, as the name of the spirit beast suggests, is born to slay its enemies. Also, it has a signature skill in which its six sharp blades appeared on its body and at the same time, its speed increased by three times making it a perfect slayer against the group battles.

It is already powerful; however, it lacks the strength and as long as it breakthroughs into rank 5, it could take multiple rank 5 evil spirit beasts with ease.

What's more, Lucas was planning to evolve it once again with a beast evolution crystal after he finished the manual evolution.

'Mew~'

The slayer lynx was excited for its evolution and nodded its head at Lucas' words.

'Ding,

          Spirit beast:- Slayer lynx.

          Selected evolution path:- Bleeding Slayer Lynx.

          Required ingredients:- Goblin blossom, Bleeding fruit, Griffin claw, Hellhound's teeth, Cave carp, ...…and finally, pour as much assassin energy as possible.

Lucas checked the evolutionary path he selected for the Slayer lynx and after learning about the Bleeding Slayer lynx from Beck's encyclopedia, Lucas felt it was a perfect spirit beast he was looking for in tomorrow's fight.

So, without thinking much, Lucas selected 'Bleeding slayer lynx' and started the evolution path.

As usual, Lucas closed his eyes and kept an eye on the virtual evolution process of the Slayer lynx.

As Lucas was observing the virtual evolution process, Beck went back to observing her 'Woodland lynx'.

'Swoosh'

Soon the woodland lynx that was soaking in the blood-filled stone furnace started emitting a bright green-coloured light as bubbles started popping in the furnace.

'What's happening? There is no heat below the stone furnace but why is the blood in the stone furnace boiling?'

Beck was a little anxious when she saw boiling blood in the furnace.

'Ding,

          Hostess, please stay calm There is nothing wrong with the spirit lynx; instead, the evolution process is coming to an end.

The system in her head asked Beck not to worry about the woodland lynx.

'Oh. Okay.'

Beck nodded her head; however, she was still worried a little about the safety of the woodland lynx even when Lucas said nothing would happen to the woodland lynx even if the evolution failed.

Soon, the bright green-coloured light started disappearing as Beck saw a few changes in the woodland lynx.

Since the lynx was about 80 percent soaking in the blood, Beck was unable to see the full features; however, she could see there were some changes.

First, the fur which was light green previously had changed into dark green and after the lynx came out of the stone furnace, Beck noticed the lynx was completely wrapped in forest vines.

'Ding,

          Congratulations to the hostess for successfully evolving your first tamed spirit beast.

'Ding,

        You will be rewarded with a beast evolution crystal and the system will be upgraded to level 2. Please wait two hours for the system to finish its upgrade.

'What?'

Beck was not surprised with the system upgrade because the reason why she took Lucas' help was for exactly this purpose; however, what surprised Beck was the additional reward 'Beast evolution crystal'.

'I have a perfect spirit beast for this beast evolution crystal.'

Unlike Lucas, Beck already decided which spirit beast needs the evolution crystal and decided to give it to that spirit beast.

'Anyway, let's see the skills of the evolved Woodland lynx.'

As its master, Beck should know the complete information about her tamed spirit beasts to make full use of them in the battles.

So, just like Lucas, she used her system to check the information on the Ancient forest lynx.

'Ding,

          Spirit beast name:- Ancient forest lynx.

          Strength:- low-level rank 5

          Skills:- Mini forest, Life drain, Ancient roar...

          Mini forest:- Create a small forest in which the strength of the allies along with its own battle prowess increase by two times for an hour without any side effects. Also, as long as the allies are inside the small forest, their injuries will recover at a faster pace and so does their stamina.

            Life drain:- Using the vines around its body, it can suck the energy from its enemies and use it to power the 'Mini forest'.

            Ancient roar:-The lynx lets out a loud roar that freezes all the targets of the same strength of the spirit beast and below that for 10 seconds.

…

Everything about the spirit beast had appeared in front of Beck, making her reveal a slight smile on her face.

'Even though there is no special skill, it will be great for tomorrow's fight.'

Beck played with the newly evolved woodland lynx at once corner of the guardian liar.

'It looks like the young master is not going to wake up any time soon. Should I go out of this lair and give the beast evolution crystal to it?'

She knew that sometimes evolution would take half a day to a day. So, she wanted to give the beast evolution crystal to one of her tamed spirit beasts in order to not finish the evolution by tomorrow morning.

With that thought in her mind, she informed the shadow dragon before leaving the guardian lair.

Time continued to pass and Beck returned to the guardian lair after exactly one hour.

'Huh? Young master still watching the evolution process?'

After returning Beck was a little surprised to see that Lucas had yet to finish the evolution for the Slayer lynx.

Actually, if Lucas wanted to finish it, he would have ended it long back; however, he poured all the assassin energy into his assassin sea to make sure the evolution would be successful.

'I have nothing to do anyway. I will just play with the lynxes.'

Soon, Beck took the Ancient forest lynx and Raging fire lynx to one corner and started playing with him.

Time continued to pass and another one hour passed by when Beck saw the slayer lynx start glowing with bright light.

'Looks like the evolution is finished.'

Beck was excited as she rushed to Lucas; however, she noticed that Lucas' body also started glowing with bright light, making Beck quite confused.
