"Now, all we have to do is wait and let the lynx absorb the required energy from all the ingredients you supplied to it."

It took five minutes for Lucas to guide Beck in supplying the ingredients required for the evolution of Woodland lynx.

"Let's wait, young master."

Beck was very nervous as she looked at the sleeping lynx in the stone furnace that was filled with blood and other ingredients required for its evolution.

"Don't worry. Even if evolution is not successful, nothing will happen to the spirit beast."

Lucas already confirmed with the system about it and informed Beck about it. So that, she could stop worrying about the spirit beast.

Unlike Lucas, Beck didn't want something to go wrong in the evolution process that might lead to the lynx's death. So, Lucas assumed she was worried about it.

"I know about it already."

Beck shook her head as she continued, 'I am worried that evolution might fail because of me. I want this evolution to be successful as it will not only make him gain a rank 5 spirit beast but it will also help me in upgrading the system.'

It was Beck's first time trying to evolve a spirit beast and if it fails, it would be her fault. 

If it was some other time, Beck would have not worried much about it; however, she wanted at least one rank 5 spirit beast before tomorrow's fight.

'Even though her winged white lion progressed very fast until the peak rank 4, that spirit beast is having its own problems to break into the rank 5.'

Once Lucas heard the reply, he understood what she was really worried about.

As someone who wanted to protect her young master and help him to the best of her abilities in building a powerful family, she needed to have more powerful spirit beasts under her.

'As long as I have a rank 5 ancient forest lynx, I can help the young master a lot in fighting against the evil spirit beasts.'

This was the only thought in Beck's head.

Currently, she could take care of three low-level rank 5 spirit beasts with her spirit beast army. So, if she had a new rank 5 spirit beast, she could take care of another low-level rank 5 spirit beast, increasing the success rate in their survival.

'Ding,

          The time left for the completion of the evolution is one hour. Please wait.

Lucas checked the evolution time using his skill [Lynx master] and the system and thought, 'In this one hour, I can start the evolution of another two lynxes.'

Initially, Lucas thought he had to evolve at least three of the lynxes under his care excluding Beck's lynx; however, he was able to get the required ingredients for only three lynxes including Beck's woodland lynx.

'With the ingredients, everyone collected, I can evolve one special lynx and one normal lynx.'

Lucas looked at the two lynxes sitting in front of him with their tongues out as though they were expecting to play with Lucas.

Special lynx meaning it was a rare lynx and had slightly more combat prowess compared to the regular lynxes.

The two lynxes that have all their ingredients are Fire lynx and a Slayer lynx. Fire lynx is very common among the lynx type spirit beasts; however, Slayer lynxes are very rare to find.

"It is not the time for playing; instead, it is evolution time."

Lucas said these words to the two lynxes in front of him while thinking, 'Since it takes one hour for the woodland lynx's evolution result to come out, I will start the evolution process for the fire lynx.'

Looking at the light red coloured furred lynx, Lucas decided to start its evolution first as it would take very little time.

"Young master, which evolution path did you choose for the fire lynx?"

Seeing that Lucas was starting the evolution process for the fire lynx, Beck asked Lucas about the fire lynx' evolution path.

"It is 'Raging fire lynx'."

Lucas had nothing to hide about the evolutionary path of the fire lynx as Beck could guess it even if he didn't say anything.

"Oh. It will be the main attacker for tomorrow's fight."

As the name of the lynx suggests, all its attacks deal a lot of damage compared to the attacks of other lynx in the same rank.

So, Beck guessed that the raging fire lynx would become the main attacker as it also had a couple of AOE skills that dealt a lot of damage to everyone around it.

"Yes. It is one of the main attackers for tomorrow's fight."

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he continued, "However, I have a lot of hopes on my two other main attackers though."

Just as he finished his words, Lucas closed his eyes as he entered the endless space and started the evolution process for the fire lynx.

Unlike Beck, Lucas didn't have to prepare any stone furnace for the spirit beast to soak in as the system would take care of all those minor things for him.

All he needs to do is provide the required ingredients to the system and the system collects the data regarding the evolution process from his skill [Lynx master] before starting the evolution process.

Even though he didn't have to enter this endless space, Lucas wanted to watch the evolution process, hoping he would learn something from it.

As for why Lucas had concluded that the evolution of the fire lynx would be successful was because of the system that already gave him a success rate for the evolution path.

'Among so many evolutionary paths for all the lynxes under my care, one this fire lynx had a 100 percent success rate.'

This was the reason why Lucas added it as the main attacker for tomorrow's plan.

'What? Tell me who are your other two main attackers?'

As for Beck, she was left in suspense regarding the two other main attackers for tomorrow's fight; however, she didn't disturb Lucas as he knew he had already started the evolution process for the fire lynx.
