'Even though the first effect of the Blood pill is not very useful, the second effect was very good. If I get at least a single good trait of a spirit beast, it could be considered as a fortune.'

This was the thought in his head when he checked the skill awakened by the vampire dagger.

Traits of spirit beasts are similar to the skills of the spirit beasts; however, they were more powerful compared to the skills as the spirit beasts were born with it whereas skills were awakened as the spirit beast grows.

Different spirit beasts have different traits.

For example, blackwind panthers are born with a trait that is speed whereas the Phantom eagle has a good camouflage trait.

The Winged white lion and the winged white tiger have a 'roar' which could make the other spirit beasts shiver at their roar despite having a low rank.

'I think I should just focus on upgrading the rank of the vampire dagger. By doing this, not only will the dagger' rank be upgraded but I will get the continuous supply of the blood pills.'

Since the chance of getting the spirit beast trait was only one percent, Lucas needed to accumulate a large number of blood pills to get at least a single trait of the spirit beast.

"Young master, are we going to take a rest or sacrifice the rank 4 spirit beast that you have selected to break through to general knight rank?"

From the side, Beck asked Lucas after checking that Lucas became a quasi-general knight already.

"I will only rest after I accumulate more than 75000 sovereign points."

For the last five days, Lucas and Beck were continuously hunted in the Earl grounds in the morning and returned to the Viscount ground during the nightfall.

Even then, Lucas would not rest; instead, he hunted even more actively in the Viscount grounds as more and more spirit beasts came out in the night.

Unlike before when he encountered the haunting ethereals, Lucas didn't have any fear of encountering them again as he had more skills, spells and high strength which he lacked back then.

Nevertheless, he never encountered them again during the past seven days.

Overall, after actively hunting for the last seven days, along with the increment in his Knight rank, he accumulated around 20000 sovereign points.

"Young master, you are only resting two hours in a day. Is it really enough?"

Beck was a little worried about Lucas' continuous hunting for the last seven days as she asked him about it.

"Don't worry. If I feel tired, I will rest for some time while consuming a blood pill."

Maybe the tiredness was considered as a negative effect or something like that because whenever he consumed a bloodline, he felt energetic with the disappearance of whatever small amount of tiredness in his body.

"Let's go. It is time to sacrifice the rank 4 spirit beasts which we selected a couple of days back."

Even before he became a quasi general knight, Lucas had already selected two rare rank 4 spirit beasts with good skills. So, he rushed towards the place along with Beck.

In no time, Lucas and Beck both reached a small pond in the earl grounds.

The small pond was around 10 meters in radius with unknown depth and it was completely covered with mosaic. On the edges of the ponds, many spirit beast remains could be seen.

"Young Master, be careful. I will be watching the fight from a distance; however, if I feel like you are in danger, I will enter the fight."

Beck said those words to Lucas before slowly walking back.

"What? No. Don't do that. I want a skill from this spirit beast."

Lucas became anxious because he knew Beck would definitely do what she just said because he was a particular skill from the spirit beast living in that small pond.

"Young master, compared to a new skill, your life is more important. Moreover, we have another extra spirit beast anyway."

Beck was serious when she said those words without showing any signs of backing down.

Lucas forgot to explain to her about his ability to sacrifice two spirit beasts for every major realm and shook his head but he didn't explain as there is not enough time for that now.

Just as Beck moved away from the small pond, a dozen snakes rushed out of the small pond aiming at Lucas.

Lucas casually waved a vampire dagger and the coward's dagger to successfully kill those dozen snakes.

More and more rank 3 water pythons came out of the small pond; however, for the current Lucas, they were all small fries that could be killed in a single slash.

Water pythons came out of the small pond endlessly just to die in Lucas' hands and the sovereign points in his account increased crazily.

In just 10 minutes, he killed nearly one thousand water pythons without moving from his place and gained around 10000 sovereign points.

'As expected of the spirit beast from the Earl grounds. It could control such a huge army of rank 3 spirit beasts.'

Lucas felt a little excited because he was basically getting some free sovereign points by waving his daggers just by standing in a single place.

'At this rate, I don't have to use the discount coupon.'

Even though he said that he should use the discount coupon because he could only use it in the level 2 sovereign shop.

However, after killing around 1000 water pythons, they stopped coming out of the small pond, making Lucas raise his brows.

"Hey…hey, come out now."

Lucas threw a stone into the small pond sensing that the final boss was not coming out of the small pond.

"Who the hell dares to disturb my evolution?"
