With the help of the wilderness canvas, no spirit beast attacked them, allowing Lucas to take a good rest

However, the same could not be said to Beck as she kept an ear on the surroundings.

"Beck, are you ready for the Earl grounds?"

Lucas asked Beck with a slight smile on his face.

"Ready when you are."

Beck was also excited as she could tame some good spirit beasts in the Earl grounds.

"Swoosh"

Soon, they summoned Winged white lion and Blackwind panther and rode towards the Earl grounds.

'Phantom, go ahead and scout for the spirit beasts.'

Even though Phantom Eagle's battle prowess was reduced by half in the daytime, Lucas was still confident in the camouflaging and escaping skills of the eagle.

'Screech'

Nodding its head, the Phantom Eagle jumped into the panther's shadow and disappeared without a trace.

'Also, use your skill 'Treasure Halo' to search for the treasures around us.'

Lucas transmitted his order to the eagle which was excited to use it.

'Ding,

          Skill Name:- Treasure Halo (Level 1)

          Effect:- When the skill is activated, the spirit beast of the skill will know of any treasures within a radius of 10 kilometers around it.

It was not a new skill but it was an old skill of the Phantom eagle even before it could evolve into a Phantom eagle.

'Swoosh'

Soon, Lucas and Beck entered the Earl grounds and after that, they didn't enter deeper; instead, they followed the periphery of the earl grounds to search for the spirit beasts.

At another place in the periphery of the earl grounds.

"Wilfred, activate the formation."

The old man from the mages guild shouted at the old man from the weapons pavilion.

"I know, Geoffrey. My men are luring the amber elementals. So, I know what to do."

As usual, the members of the weapons pavilion were haughty and arrogant as the old man named Wilfred scoffed at the old man named Geoffrey.

In the distance, two men and a woman were rushing towards them with confident looks on their faces.

Behind them, there were four red-coloured crystalline humanoids chasing them while using their fire attacks. Other than their crystalline bodies, another noticeable thing about them was, their bodies were covered in flames.

They were none other than the amber elementals, fire type humanoid spirit beasts.

'Elder, do it now.'

One of the men transmitted his voice to Wilfred.

"Frost garden, activate."

Once Wilfred, the elder of the weapons pavilion got the signal from the men that were luring the amber elementals to the periphery of the earl ground, he activated a formation.

'Swoosh'

As soon as he activated the formation, a 100 meters radius around the chasing amber elementals started freezing at an incredible speed.

Within no time, the flames on the amber elementals disappeared and their bodies started cracking; however, they were unable to move as their movement speed was greatly reduced because of the formation.

"Ice spear"

The group didn't stop there as the mages used their ice spells on the amber elementals as they would deal double damage to them.

Under the combined attacks from the members of the mages guild and weapons pavilion, the four amber elementals didn't last for half a minute before they lifelessly fell to the ground.

"Idris, Fred, collect the bodies."

"Sylvia, Klein, collect their core."

As soon as the four amber elementals fell, Wilfred and Geoffrey ordered their subordinates to collect the crystalline bodies and the cores in them respectively.

Unlike the other rank 4 spirit beasts, these amber elementals would definitely have a core in them that could be directly consumed by the fire mages.

"Geoffrey, according to your intel, there should be another three amber elementals in that cave, right?"

While their subordinates were collecting the loot, Wilfred asked Geoffrey.

"Yes."

The old man nodded his head as he continued, "One low-level rank 5 amber elemental, two peak rank 4 amber elementals."

"So, are we going to fight all three of them once? Because it would be difficult to lure those two peak rank 4 amber elementals."

Wilfred asked the old mage Geoffrey about their next move.

"Wilfred, we are going to fight against the last three spirit beasts and that's the reason why I brought you along with me."

Geoffrey didn't hesitate to agree that Wilfred was more powerful than himself and said what their next move was.

Wilfred was the first elder of the Iron forge town's weapon pavilion. Even though he was a first elder, even the head of the weapons pavilion would bow to him.

He was not only a tier 5 general knight who used the hammer, but Wilfred was a rank 5 weaponsmith and a rank 4 formation master. So, Geoffrey, the guest elder of the mages guild of the same town requested his help by offering a huge price.

"So, what are you waiting for? This time, it is your mages guild's turn to lure the amber elementals."

Hearing Geoffrey's words, Wilfred had a smug look on his face as he continued saying, "We will follow the same method. I will stall the low-level rank 5 amber elemental while you kill the other two amber elementals as soon as possible and assist him."

"Sure"

They already planned it. So, no one had any problem with it and everyone nodded their heads along with Geoffrey.

So far, they killed 12 amber elementals using the same tactic and they knew that the last round would be difficult. So, everyone in the two groups became serious.

Soon, a couple of men from the mages group went to lure the last three amber elementals out of their cave.

Within no time, they followed the plan and soon lured the three amber elementals.

Without any surprise, they successfully lured three amber elementals among which two had the strength of peak rank 4 and one had the low-level rank 5. 

"The leader of the amber elementals and the elite amber elementals have arrived. Everyone stay alert. We can easily kill them."

Wilfred shouted trying to improve the morale of everyone from the two groups.

"Frost garden, activate."

The moment the three amber elementals entered the special location, Wilfred activated the formation that he created previously.

'Swoosh'

Just like before, a few meters around the three amber elementals started freezing at an incredible speed and the amber elementals' speed greatly decreased.

"Now, attack."

Once he successfully captured the three amber elementals, Wilfred shouted at the members of the mages guild.

'Ice spear'

'Elite Ice storm'

Soon, everyone from the mages used their spell. What's more, the old mage Geoffrey even used an Elite grade spell.

An elite grade spell is a spell that was one grade higher than the advanced spell and the effects of that spell would be at least double the effect of the advanced spell.

Soon, a powerful looking storm formed in front of Geoffrey in which there were many icicles.

'Roar'

The ice storm sucked the three amber elementals in no time.

As for the amber elementals, they were unable to resist it as they were already slowed down greatly because of the 'Frost garden' formation.

'This bastard even comprehended an elite grade spell. But, why the hell did he request my help?'

Wilfred frowned when he saw Geoffrey use such a powerful spell and looked at Geoffrey with a face full of suspicion.

'Everyone, be alert. That old bastard is hiding such a powerful spell from us. He must be planning something else.'

Wilfred had seen many life and death situations, many betrayals and he himself betrayed so many. So, he could tell that the old man Geoffrey was definitely planning something bad for him and his pavilion members.

"Wilfred, you don't need to worry about me."

However, the old man Geoffrey shook his head and slowly walked towards Wilfred.

"Geoffrey, stop right there and tell me why you brought me here."

Wilfred felt a bad premonition when he heard Geoffrey's words and asked him to stop; however, Geoffrey didn't stop as he continued walking.

'Damn it…why can't I move?'

All of a sudden, Wilfred noticed that he was unable to move and at the same time, he noticed it was the same for everyone from the weapons pavilion.

"Geoffrey, why are you doing this? Both the weapons pavilion and the mages guild are on good terms and even the leaders of our two factions are sworn as brothers"

Wilfred understood it was Geoffrey's doing; however, what he didn't understand was the reason why he was doing this.

"Haha…why am I doing this?"

Geoffrey revealed an eerie smile on his face as he replied, "Don't worry, you will find out soon."

"Puchi"

As soon as he said that, an ice arrow came out of nowhere and pierced through the head of a weapons pavilion's member.

'Thud'

The member fell to the ground with an unbelievable look as he still didn't know how he died.

"Why can't you kill everyone at once? Now, look, how fearful they became."

Geoffrey revealed an angry look on his face as he shouted into the distance.

'What? There is someone else?'

Wilfred looked in the direction in which Geoffrey shouted and soon saw a silhouette slowly walking towards them.

'A humanoid evil spirit beast?'

Wilfred was shocked when he saw the appearance of the one who was walking towards them.

"Geoffrey, you bastard, you colluded with the evil race?"

Wilfred shouted at Geoffrey as he finally understood that Geoffrey became the lackey of the evil race.

"Colluded? No, I am one of them."

Geoffrey scoffed at Wilfred and soon, his human appearance transformed into an evil being.
