Sovereign of the Firmaments

Even though Ghost snake decided to join the Hellmore family, that doesn't mean he would share everything about it.

He didn't want anyone to know about his revenge or about his past.

At the same time, Ghost snake gave the details on what the assassin guild was planning to do, which Lucas knew already but he still listened as he didn't want Ghost snake to know that he used Soul search on him.

'Let's see when he will tell me about his past and revenge.'

Lucas didn't bother about Ghost snake' revenge against the assassin guild as he would be destroying them sooner or later for their actions.

"Did anyone see you coming here?"

Lucas asked Ghost snake in a calm tone while thinking about something, 'If he really swears the loyalty to me, then I can make good use of him; however, he can still betray me.'

"No one has seen me."

Ghost snake shook his head with a confident look on his face.

"Since you already gave all the information about what is about to happen to me and the Silverstone town, I will give you a mission to enter my family."

After thinking for a moment, Lucas said those words.

"A mission?"

Ghost snake frowned when he heard those words and felt Lucas was going against the deal.

According to the deal, he will give the information about the attack on Silverstone town in return he would join the Hellmore family.

"Don't worry. Even though I said it is a mission, it is very small and it is very easy for you to do."

With a slight smile on his face, Lucas continued saying, "Go back and accept the position of an elder in that particular assassin branch. And when the time comes…"

"Don't tell me you want me to be a spy for you?"

Before Lucas could finish his words, Ghost snake understood what Lucas was asking him to do. So, he continued saying, "All branches of the assassin guilds in this firmament are controlled by the assassin guild in the royal family and they always keep an eye on me. So, it will be difficult as everyone in my new branch will keep an eye on me."

Previously, Ghost snake was the guild master of the branch in the Silverstone town and he was not worried about the royal city's branch as everyone in his branch was his loyal followers and they would not betray him.

However, in his new branch, he was just an elder and everyone would be keeping an eye on him.

"Sigh…fine. I thought I wanted to help you increase your ranks in the assassin guild. Looks like you are clearly a coward."

Lucas sighed as he shook his head.

"What? How?"

Ghost snake was surprised for a moment before asking how Lucas was planning to do.

"The reason why everyone keeps an eye on you is that you are an outsider without no past, right? However, when you have great achievements and there is no competition for you, who do you think will rise in the power."

"What? How do you know that?"

Ghost snake was shocked when he heard the initial words Lucas and hurriedly asked about it.

As for the later words, he already know what Lucas was implying and he had already thought about it; however, it is very difficult to get great achievements because he never received a top-level mission except for Hellmore brother's assassination a couple of months back.

"I have my ways to get information and I can even make you the leader of the assassin guild for this firmament."

Lucas revealed a mysterious smile on his face as he replied to Ghost snake.

Actually, Lucas wanted to promise Ghost snake that he could make him the leader of the Headquarters of the assassin guild in the future; however, Ghost snake might feel it was a little too much.

So, Lucas promised the reward which was possible compared to the impossible one in the other party's mind.

"What do you want me to do?"

It was not Ghost snake' first time taking such risky bets because they give massive returns; however, if it fails, he would lose his life and he knows that too.

"Good"

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face and asked, "What is your current grade for the assassin talent?"

"Marquis."

Ghost snake replied without any hesitation.

Since he had already made up his mind to bet his future on Lucas' future, Ghost snake was ready to do anything that Lucas asked him to do.

"Close your eyes."

Lucas placed his hand on Ghost snake' head and asked him to close his eyes.

"Ok"

Ghost snake didn't know what Lucas was planning to do; however, he followed his words and closed his eyes.

'System, I want to make him my third henchmen?'

Lucas silently informed the system and ordered it to bless Ghost snake with the title 'Sovereign henchmen' talent.

That's right! With the help of his talent 'Sovereign in process', Lucas could take bless three of his followers with the 'Sovereign henchmen' title.

Previously, he successfully blessed Harper and Reece; however, he was failed to bless Beck as she had her own system in her head.

So, Lucas decided to use it on Ghost snake.

'A skinny boy with no background was able to grow to this extent, if I support him, he would definitely become more powerful, right?'

This was the thought in Lucas' head when he decided to bless Ghost snake with the 'Sovereign henchmen'.

Just like how Ghost snake was gambling that Lucas had a boundless future, Lucas was also taking a bet on Ghost snake hoping he would become a powerful follower in the future.

Soon, Ghost snake's body started glowing with dark red colour and all of a sudden, it changed into Black colour.

Of course, Lucas knew Ghost snake' assassin talent increased from marquis to duke

'Ding,

          A new Sovereign henchman is added to the host's list.

'Th…this is…'

Ghost snake was shocked by the sudden change in his talent and looked at Lucas in a new light.
