Sovereign of the Firmaments

"Greetings, master."

As soon as the dungeon boss 'Orc lord' was summoned, he respectfully greeted Lucas.

'...'

Lucas looked at the huge green coloured monster in front of him.

'Ding,

          Dungeon boss:- Orc Lord (Nameless).

          Strength:- Silver grade boss (~ Higher Knight).

          Skills:- Cleave, Battle roar, Rage, Summon, Strong body (Passive.

          Special talent:- +50 magic resistance.

          Current status:- [Nameless Necromancer dungeon]'s final boss (yet to be completed).

'So powerful.'

Lucas was surprised with the Orc lord's strength and skills.

Moreover, this orc lord became the main dungeon boss, overthrowing the previous main boss to a mini-boss.

"Since you don't have a name, I will call you Green axe."

Lucas casually gave a name as there should be something to call the Orl lord.

"Thank you for bestowing me with a name, master. I am eternally grateful to you."

The orc lord was excited after getting a name which made Lucas confused a little.

"Master, you must be wondering why I am excited just for a name, right? It is not just a name, instead, it is something that will unseal my memories."

The orc lord looked at the confused Lucas and explained the reason for his excitement.

'What?'

Lucas was even more confused with his words and asked him to explain more about it.

Soon, the orc lord started explaining his past.

According to the orc lord, he was a leader of an Orl world with a strength equivalent to a Heavenly knight. Everything was normal until a portal appeared which they named as [Unholy portal] as the creatures coming from it were filled with evil energy.

"One of my subordinates and his soldiers stopped them with some casualties until the portal closed. However, soon, more and more unholy portals started appearing all over the world."

"Initially, my subordinates were able to stop the creatures; however, after a few decades, I have to personally lead my army to stop them."

"But, who would have thought that in one of the evil portals 10 powerful unholy creatures with strength equivalent to tier 3 and above heavenly knights appeared from a portal. Among them, I was able to kill three of them; however, I lost my entire army and I was the only one last standing."

"Just when I was about to get killed by the remaining unholy creatures, I heard something in my head."

The orc lord stopped saying until there as he looked at frowning Lucas.

'These unholy portals must be the evil portals.'

Lucas could guess that both are the same and asked Green axe, "What did you hear?"

He guessed that the voice the orc lord heard in his head must be related to the creator of the systems or at least he had some connection to it.

"It said that I failed to protect my race and the world and I will have to serve someone. Moreover, all my memories will be wiped until I was officially given a name by someone. This is everything I know, master."

The Orc lord was able to recover his memories only after Lucas bestowed him a name and the exact reason for his excitement was because he could finally take revenge on those unholy creatures as he remembered everything.

"Oh."

After hearing everything, Lucas nodded his head and didn't think about the system creator as he felt it was better for him to not think about the creator of the systems.

'Looks like more and more evil portals will open in the coming years. I think it is a perfect opportunity for me to increase my family's grade; however, I have to be careful as even a tier 1 heavenly knight was unable to go against the evil portals.'

Lucas felt it was his opportunity to become powerful; however, he didn't forget how the orc lord was unable to defeat them even with his original strength of tier 1 heaven knight.

"So, are you really going to acknowledge me as your master just like that?"

Lucas asked with a slight surprise on his face.

According to what he knew about the orc, they are just a bunch of hot-headed beings that always like to fight and would not yield easily.

"Since you are able to pull me out of the endless space and even help me recover my memories, I don't have any problems in acknowledging you as my master, master."

The orc lord was very respectful despite the fact Lucas was still very weak in front of him.

"..."

Lucas was speechless as he didn't know what to say as he gave the name to the orc lord casually.

"By the way, what happened to your strength?"

Compared to the strength in the story that the orc lord said to him, the current strength of the orc lord was one whole rank less. So, he asked about it.

"As I was sealed in the endless space, with the passage of time, my strength started degrading."

The orc lord sighed as he replied to Lucas.

'Anyway, he is still very powerful.'

Lucas thought to himself before looking at the dungeon spirit.

"Freda, shouldn't there be another room for him?"

Since they were currently in the core room of the dungeon, Lucas asked the dungeon spirit about the boss room for the orc lord.

"Master, ask the orc lord to drop his blood on the dungeon core. Only then, he will be completely connected to the dungeon."

The tiny dungeon spirit replied to Lucas regarding his question.

"You heard the spirit."

Lucas nodded his head and ordered the orc lord while muttering, 'Only if I can summon the dungeon bosses out of the dungeon, I don't have to hide anymore.'

Even though Lucas already has a rank 5 spirit beast 'Shadow dragon', compared to the orc lord who had a lot of battle experience, he thought summoning him out of the dungeon would make his plans move faster.

'Anyway, even if I can summon him out, it is way too fast to go out.'

In the next second, Lucas shook his head as he knew the true monsters were lying low in the firmament and waiting for an opportunity to come out.

'Moreover, there are systems hosts, from whom I have to be careful.'

As the system host himself, Lucas knew how dangerous it is to show himself in the open as each system could reward unique rewards and items with which it is easy to change the tide of war.

So, Lucas wanted to be powerful enough to protect himself and his family from everyone before making his grand entry.

'Drip'

Soon, the orc lord dropped his blood on the dungeon.

'Ding,

        The Orc lord [Green axe] is successfully integrated with the dungeon core. As long as the dungeon core is intact, the orc lord will not be killed for real and revived infinite times.

'Ding,

        Since the dungeon already has a main dungeon boss but his strength is less than the orc lord, the Orc lord will become the main dungeon boss.

'Ding,

        The new creatures 'Goblins' and new mini-bosses [Hobgoblins] will be spawned in the dungeon.

As soon as the orc lord's blood was dropped, a series of system notifications rang in Lucas' head.
