In the Liontalon's family, Crystalville firmament.

"What did you say?"

The family head Edan looked at the messenger from the assassin guild as he smashed a table beside him after hearing his words.

"Yes, family head Edan. The target you gave us became a family blessed by the heavens. So, the guild master wanted to know that we can't take out the target with the price you offered."

The messenger was a tier 5 general assassin. So, he was able to bear the pressure from Edan as he once again replied the reason for his visit.

'What the hell? How did he achieve that feat at such a young age? What's more, it's been a little more than a month since Lucas and his brother were kicked out of the firmament.

'Looks like that bastard is just like his father. No matter where he lives, he will rise in power.'

Edan knew very well about Lucas' father Aldrich who came to the Crystalville with a single servant and rose to power while increasing the family rank to Duke grade which was equivalent to his own Liontalon family.

'I can't let him live anymore. If he gets all his father's traits, then he would definitely erase my Liontalon family when he comes back to this firmament.'

When he thought about that, Edan could not help but become anxious and fearful.

Nevertheless, he decided to do everything in his power to destroy the new Hellmore family in the Barren firmament.

"So, what is the new price for assassinating him?"

Edan didn't think much before asking the assassin about the price to assassinate the current Lucas.

"Since he is the head of the Viscount grade family, the price can't be measured properly. However, the guild leader said that as long as you give one of the cities under your control to the assassin guild, we will make the move…."

"What? You want a city?  You are asking too much."

Before the assassin messenger could finish his words, Edan stood up from his seat and shouted.

"Okay then. Please find someone else to do your dirty work then."

The assassin guild's messenger shrugged and he was ready to leave the hall before Edan asked him to wait.

Killing a family head of a blessed family is considered dirty in the human world because they were blessed because of their contributions to humanity; however, the assassin guild had their own ways to escape Heaven's wrath after killing the blessed family heads.

So, they were confident that the opposite party didn't have any other option other than asking the assassination guild to do their dirty work.

"Fine…I will give you a city only after you bring me his head."

Edan clenched his teeth and agreed to give the city under his control to the assassin guild after they finish the dirty work.

Soon, they made the necessary contract between the Liontalon family and the assassin guild.

'Even though the assassin guild is efficient when the fee is high, I still can't rely on them completely.

'It is time to contact them once again to take care of the Hellmore family.'

After the messenger from the assassin guild, Edan entered a secret room and crushed a crystal who knows how long he was holding it.

'Swoosh'

As soon as he crushed the stone, a small portal around the size of a quail egg opened in front of him.

"Didn't you use my help a month back to erase the Hellmore family? Why are you contacting me again?.

In the next second, a rough voice came from the other side of the portal as though the owner of the voice seemed impatient.

"There is still someone alive from that family. He established a family in the Silverstone town and became a Viscount grade family."

Edan briefly explained about Lucas and his achievement.

"What?"

Hearing that, the being on the other side was surprised a little before muttering in a barely audible voice, "Don't worry. My organization is already making preparations to destroy the Barren firmament in a couple of years. So, don't think much about him."

"By the time he can become a full-fledged warrior, he would be killed in that shuffle. When the time comes, I will contact you as you will also take part in that event."

As soon as the rough voice finished his words, the quail-sized portal disappeared, making Edan heave a sigh of relief.

'Let's see whether the assassin guild takes care of him or 'They' take care of it.'

Edan was not worried about the fee he promised to the assassin guild as he wanted nothing more than to destroy the Hellmore family from the face of this firmament world.

In the secret training room of the Raindrop manor, Barren firmament.

Lucas didn't have any idea about the things that happened in the Crystalville firmament as he relaxed on the floor.

'Before I enter the [Fighting arena], I will open the bronze treasure chest that I got from clearing the dungeon.'

Lucas was still unable to forget about the dungeon core that got destroyed while he was trying to upgrade his dungeon. So, he thought entering the [Fighting arena] would be a good distraction for him.

Nevertheless, he remembered about the treasure chest and with a thought, he summoned it out of his inventory. 

'Ding,

          The host opened a Bronze treasure chest.

'Ding,

          The host received the following items.

          1) Level 1 Dungeon core.

          2) Intermediate spell scroll.

          3) Level 1 Building blueprint.

          4) Beast luring potion.

Soon, the list of items he gained from the treasure chest appeared in front of him, making Lucas forget about the pain of losing a level 1 dungeon core.

Not only did he get a new level 1 dungeon core, he also received more items that he needed.

'Should I upgrade the dungeon core or should I wait for some time to increase the success rate of the dungeon?'

After thinking for a few moments, Lucas decided to wait as he didn't want to see another failure.

'Time to check the other items.'
