Solo Player Arvin

    At late night when they reached the Palms springs Xander and his men opened the cage of Arvin. They let him out. Then one of the men came with a leash and collar and put it around Arvin's neck. That was the most humiliating thing that someone had ever done to Arvin. But for Loki….

{*hahaha*… You…*haha*… are a… *haha*} Loki laughed so hard that he was not to complete his sentence.

'Laugh all you want. But I am doing this all because of a greater good.' Arvin said. Hearing this Loki stopped laughing. He then said in a serious voice…

{Of course, you are. And I am proud of you for that… But I am sure you have a bone to pick with them.} Loki said.

'…'

{You dig what I am saying?} Loki said.

'…'

{This is a very brilliant idea. What a good boy you are…} Loki said.

'…'

{On a serious note, proud of yourself. You are an intelligent man Arvin… Because no one could have sniffed out a scoop in this place other than you…*haha*} Loki started laughing hard.

'Jerk.' Arvin said while gritting his teeth.

When the cage was opened and Arvin came out, Arvin saw that they were outside of what looked like to be a 40 feet tall wall. And that wall was stretching to whichever direction he looked at…

Xander and his men handed over the camels that they had as well as the cage that Arvin came into a middle-aged man wearing a red color suit coat and white pajamas. Xander handed over a gold coin to the man and then started moving towards the big gate that they were standing in front of. Xander took the lead and the other men and Arvin started following him.

While approaching the gate Xander started speaking seriously…

"Listen up you dumba*ses. This right here is Palm springs. This sort of vacation place that is used by people who have higher standing than me and have higher standing than the Aurora Clan itself. So that means I don't have much power over here. So if you offend someone then I would kill you first before the other person can kill you. Understand?" Xander said.

"Yes sir." All the men spoke in unison.

"You are all allowed to carry weapons but that does not mean that you guys can take out any weapon at any time. Only take out your weapons when there is a life and death emergency. And if you take out a weapon against someone important then I won't hesitate even for a second to abandon you all. Understood?" Xander said

"Yes sir." All men said in unison.

"Always follow me. You are not allowed to wander off anywhere else without my supervision. This is just a normal exchange. We would complete our mission tomorrow morning and then we would leave this place. Should I expect that you guys would not make any trouble until then?" Xander asked.

"Yes Sir." All men said in unison.

"Let's do this," Xander said.

Then Xander and his men finally crossed the gate and officially entered Palm springs. And when Arvin saw what was beyond the wall he was shocked. Behind those sturdy walls lied a stone road that was as wide as four-lane roads back on earth. This place was so clean despite being in the desert shocked Arvin.

There were shops on either side of the roads. And the way by which these shops were decorated made them look very fancy. Besides the fancy shops, there were street lights equidistant from each other that made this place light up and add a certain charm to it.

There were various monuments from place to place. While there were shops on the streets that sell different foods to weapons. Arvin also saw male and female entertainments hubs while walking.

Seeing how well this place was build made Arvin feel that this might a city from the earth. Because of how good this place looked. This place looked fancy and was very beautiful but if looked closely this place was also very scary.

While walking just 300m from the gate, Arvin was able to see about 7-8 people whose power he was not able to comprehend. And it was not like they were normal civilians. They were strong people. He could feel in its bones. But as Arvin was not able to see through their strength that meant showed that Arvin had to be very careful when doing anything here. Because any even the pedestrians here would be able to kill him without a second thought.

Which made him curious about who would have made this place?

Xander and his men eventually came to the establishment and rented some rooms. The establishment was very fancy. It looked like a 5-star hotel. But the saddest part was that instead of taking Arvin with them, they handed him over to one of the employees of the establishment.

While that man took Arvin to a special room at the back of the hotel where there was a cage waiting for Arvin. Like an obedient cat, Arvin got into the cage. That man that a big piece of meat for Arvin and then went away. Arvin then used his mana eyes to check whether there was any sort of alarm or anything if he gets out of here.

It turns out there wasn't. There was a rune inscription on the wall but it was mainly used in case of fire. So Arvin didn't worry about it that much. Arvin transformed into a fly and flew off towards the hotel to get something to eat…

Arvin went to have a great dinner at a small restaurant at the end of Palm springs. As he had a lot of gold coins in hand he made sure that he would store enough food in his inventory for later use. He wanted to make sure that he would need to go through the same stuff that he had to go through for the past two days. Because it was pure torture.

After eating his share, Arvin had a lot of time left. So he thought why not have a drink somewhere in a bar?

When Arvin was at earth during the night his fellow students would go to clubs and bars at night. But because he too invested in a study he was not able to go with them. Plus there was also some money issue. Also, he was underage.

But seeing the fancy exterior of this place, Arvin thought that why not have some fun here. He had some time before he has to go back. So why not visit a bar here? He would disguise himself so his identity wouldn't pose a problem. So there was no reason why he shouldn't go through his plan…

Minutes later Arvin appeared in front of the bar/club. He was wearing the fancy clothes of old man Han. He took a pair from the first floor. Right now Arvin was wearing plain black robes. He was in the disguise of an old man in his late 60s. He had white hair with an army cut.

With great confidence, Arvin walked into the bar. As he was entering the bar he was asked by the guards at the gate that he had to pay 10 gold coins to get in. That was a lot of money. But Arvin didn't hesitate at all. He swiftly gave the money and went inside.

That bar was filled with silence. The bar was made in such a way that there were a lot of booths in the bar. All the booths of the bar were filled with people. But it was just that each booth was surrounded by a transparent layer from which no one would be able to hear the voices of the people that were inside the booth.

Arvin didn't care about the booth. All that he cared about was a glass of good wine. So he walked straight towards the bar, and told the male bartender…

"I would like to have the best wine that you guys have. And when I mean best… I mean the best wine you guys have." Arvin said straightforwardly.

"Of course sir. For our best wine, you would have to buy a whole bottle." The bartender said with respect.

"Sure. Go on ahead." Arvin said.

"That would be 3 mana stones, sir." The bartender said politely.

Arvin then took out the three remaining mana stones from his pocket and set them up on his table. The bartender was shocked at first as the man in front of him had mana stone with him. he seriously that this old man had somehow wandered into the wrong place. But it seems like that he was wrong…

"I will bring the wine right away sir." The bartender said while picking mana stones. And then he left.

Arvin didn't care about the mana stone that he was using for the wine. As long as the wine is worth it…
