She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 699 Passed Out

Damien grabbed onto Kenneth's wrist as the latter kept on gasping for his life. Kenneth had absolutely no control over his body whatsoever, and his whole body weight was being handled by Damien.

"Damien! What's happening? What is this smoke?" Damien suddenly heard Ariel's voice.

He turned to look in their direction and saw that Niylah was also in a similar state as Kenneth. Everyone else had surrounded her and all of them were in a state of panic.

"Take her away from the smoke! It's poisonous!" Damien shouted back and then focused his attention on Kenneth again.

Damien had a look of horror on his face when he looked at Kenneth's porcelain face that had started to change its color to ash-grey.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to…" he apologized to the struggling hybrid.

Damien grabbed Kenneth's arm and put it around his own shoulder. "Let me get you out of here," he mumbled to Kenneth and got ready to teleport to the common room.

While he was focused on Kenneth, Damien forgot that earlier, Kenneth had successfully pierced through his chest and had grazed his heart. His wound had closed by now. However, the werewolf toxin had managed to reach Damien's heart.

And the more his heart pumped the blood, the more the toxin spread to other parts of his body.

Slowly, Damien's vision started to get blurry. He shook his head and then tried his best to focus on the image of the common room. However, his mind was also getting all fuzzy and he started to get cold sweats all over his body.

Damien turned to look at the place where Ariel and the others were at. He wanted to ask for her help. However, there was no one there.

Damien's breathing was also starting to get heavier by the second. He turned to look at Kenneth.

Kenneth's head was hanging down. He had already passed out by now.

Damien panicked even more. He didn't want something bad to happen to Kenneth. And he definitely didn't want to accidentally kill Kenneth. He didn't want Ariel to think that he harmed Kenneth on purpose just to get him out of his way.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Damien clenched his jaw and then mustered up his leftover consciousness and his energy to focus on teleporting into the common room.

When those two did teleport to the common room, however, Damien was also out of energy to keep standing on his feet.

He collapsed to the floor along with Kenneth. He tried to say Ariel's name. However, he also fell unconscious before he even got the chance to open his mouth.

The moment Damien had asked Ariel to take Niylah away, she had teleported Niylah to Niylah's room.

Ramon and Zach were in a confused state. And without checking up on Damien or Kenneth, they ran towards the only place they thought Ariel would take Niylah.

After teleporting to the room, Ariel picked Niylah up and then gently placed her on her bed.

Niylah already looked blue because of the poisonous smoke. Ariel lightly tapped on Niylah's cheek and tried calling her, "Niylah! Can you hear me?"

Niylah wasn't unconscious yet but she wasn't responding to Ariel at all. She was half opening her eyes and she sounded as though someone had punched her in her throat.

"Niylah, stay with me! Keep your eyes open," Ariel instructed Niylah and then immediately closed her eyes and began healing Niylah.

Slowly, Niylah's original color started to come back to her face. Her breathing was slowly getting better.

Before Niylah was completely healed, Ariel got startled and opened her eyes when she heard a loud thudding noise outside.

She furrowed her brows and waited for Ramon and Zach to come rushing inside the room. However, when no one came inside or spoke a word, Ariel closed her eyes again and then focused on healing Niylah.

After a while, Ariel opened her eyes and then gazed at Niylah with a worried look on her face.

She gently shook Niylah and asked, "Ny, how do you feel now? Do you feel fine?"

Niylah finally opened her eyes fully and then saw Ariel by her side. She looked around the room and asked, "How did I get here? I was…"

Ariel leaned down and hugged Niylah, finally relieved to hear her voice. "Oh, thank goodness. You scared me earlier."

Niylah patted Ariel's back and then gratefully said, "You just saved my life, didn't you? Thank you, Ary! I don't know what happened to me all of a sudden. There was some smoke and when I inhaled it, I felt as though I was inhaling burning flames. I remember gasping for air and nothing…"

Ariel pulled away and lovingly caressed Niylah's black hair. And she whispered, "You're okay now. I'm so glad that nothing serious happened to you. All of us were so worried when you started to choke like that."

Niylah then furrowed her brows and asked, "By the way, where did that smoke come from? And where are Ramon and Zach? Are they okay?"

"They're okay. They must be on their way here. In my panic, I only held you and teleported here." Ariel smiled reassuringly.

"And what about–" Niylah was about to ask about Damien and Kenneth when suddenly, both she and Ariel heard some commotion outside.

"Oh good lord! What the hell happened to them?" Ramon arrived at the common room a few steps ahead of Zach and saw Damien and Kenneth passed out on the floor.

Zach also arrived there in the common room a few seconds after. He stopped on his track and covered his mouth with his palm. He was too stunned to see the condition of the boys who had collapsed.

Ramon now looked very close to a dead body that had started to decay. And Damien was covered in sweat. He looked like he was hanging onto his dear life with a single thread.

Ramon instantly knelt down beside Kenneth and checked his pulse since he already looked dead. And to his horror, he couldn't feel Kenneth's pulse.

"Kenneth!" Ramon aggressively shook Kenneth in the hope that he would miraculously wake up.
