Chapter 180 Wolf, rabbit and fox.
In the bustling restaurant, the air was filled with loud laughter and chatter of beastmen, accompanied by the clinking of glasses and the savory aroma of food wafting through the air.
"Hey! Have you heard about the missing cases of people in the Sunlit Forest?"
At one of the tables, a beastman with a full mane of fur cascading down his back spoke in a loud voice.
"The ones where adventurers are going missing?" Another beastman with similar features chimed in. "It's just fake rumors, and no one is even paying attention to it."
"Haah! It's true, I heard it from my brother. He said it's happening quite often," the bear-kin retorted.
"So what? Let it happen then. It's not like we're going to be affected by it," shrugged the other beastman.
Screeh
.
The old door of the restaurant screeched open as three figures walked in.
Glup.
A collective gulp echoed through the room, though no one cared who had made the sound. All eyes were fixed on the newcomers.

Leading the trio was a tall man with two wolf-like ears atop his head, marking him as a wolfkin.
He had beautiful white hair that fell to his shoulders and a matching white tail swaying behind him.
At his side stood a stunning woman with long obsidian-black hair that cascaded down to her waist, adorned with two rabbit-like ears atop her head.
But it was the third figure, standing beside the man, who captured the attention of most beastmen present.
She had beautiful long pink hair that flowed down to her knees, with fox-like ears perched on top of her head.
Her tail wrapped around the man's waist, her hand interlaced with his.
Surveying the hall once they moved towards an empty table, the gaze of the people never left them.
"Are we going to stay or are we going to leave before sunset?" Elysia, disguised as the rabbit kin, asked, looking at the man as she took her seat.
"We are moving straight there after eating," Eden replied, his wolf ears twitching as Nadya's tail tightened around his waist.
"Why are you doing this?" Eden asked, looking at her tail.
"The female of the fox kin do this with their mates to show their affection," Nadya replied with a soft smile, looking at him.
"....Okay," he replied, nodding his head before asking, "by the way, why am I a wolfkin again?"
"Do I need to answer that question?" Nadya asked with the same smile.
"....Then why is she a rabbit kin?" Eden pointed at Elysia, who flinched at his words.
"....I wanted to ask the same question," Nadya squinted her eyes, mumbling, "why did you arrange our disguises like this?"
".... Anyway, let's order something," Elysia said, averting her eyes from them.
But before they could order their food, two bear-kin beastmen walked towards them with wide grins on their faces.
"Hey, girl," one of them said, his eyes checking out Nadya.
While Eden picked up the menu to see what they could order.
"What do you want?" She asked, looking at them with a soft smile.
Seeing her smiling, their confidence received a boost as the other one asked, "why don't you come with us, ditching the wolf—."
"Go fuck yourself," Nadya interjected, her pink eyes glowing lightly, "literally."
The expressions of the two beastmen turned blank, while their eyes had a strange pink mark on them.
And as if Nadya's words had brainwashed them, they nodded their heads blankly before they started to take their clothes off.
"Not here," she instructed again, making them halt. "Go find a room."
"Yes, ma'am," they said in unison before walking towards a room.
"Make sure to fill each other to the brim," Nadya instructed again with a wide smile.
"Was that necessary?" Elysia asked as she watched the two beastmen having a passionate kiss as they walked towards the second floor.
"Not my problem that they are weak-minded," Nadya shrugged before looking at Eden. "And weak-minded people often die quickly."
"There are only vegetarian food," Eden grumbled, passing the menu to Elysia.
"You want beastmen to eat beast?" With a strange expression, Nadya asked.
"....No," as if only now he understood his own words, Eden replied.
"Waiter!" Eden called out to a catkin female in a waiter's dress.
She looked at him before skittering towards him with a happy smile.
"What do you want, nya~?" She asked as she took out a note.
"Did she say nya?" Instead of replying, he mumbled in Nadya's ear.
"She did."
"Damn."
"Nya?"
"Give us the best here," Elysia said, making the catkin look at her.
"Okay, nya~," she replied as she walked towards the counter.
"You liked hearing nya?" Nadya asked, staring at Eden.
"Anyway, let me tell you about the realm we are going to," ignoring Nadya's words, he said, making them serious.
"To sum it up, it's the place where once a race lived, a race of beastmen that was able to control blood," he stated, looking at them.
"Vampire?" Elysia asked, frowning.
"No, vampires have gone extinct long ago, at the time of the deity's demise. This race is different; it went extinct no more than twenty years ago," shaking his head, Eden replied. "And the realm your mother is in was the exact place where they went extinct."
"Then how did that realm form?" Nadya asked, looking at Eden.
"I don't know," he replied. "All I know is that using mana in that realm is extremely hard."
"So can we rule out the possibility of other living organisms then?" Elysia asked as she touched her chin. "If the usage of mana is that hard, then there shouldn't be any beasts, right?"
"You don't see Mount Tai, junior," Nadya replied with a smile. "How could it be so easy?"
"Stop reading those books, Nadya," Eden grumbled, looking at her. "Please."
"....You don't get the reference," Nadya pouted as she looked away.
"Anyway, the other thing you have to be careful about is that we won't be alone there," Eden said, his tone serious. "There will be other people there, and some of them will be stronger than us."
"....Dark church?" Elysia asked, her voice barely audible.
"Yes," Eden replied as he glanced at Nadya, who had a solemn look on her face.
"Don't worry," taking her hand in his, he said, "I will be there, and until I stand beside you, no one can touch you."
"I know," her smile returned as she replied, "and don't think I will be a damsel in distress this time. I can beat the shit out of them as well."
Eden smiled before he continued, "Another thing, make sure, and I mean it, make it extremely sure that you don't spill any of your blood in that place."
"Why?" Elysia asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Well, let's just say it won't end well for any of us then," Eden replied as the waitress came with their food.
"Here is the best of the restaurant, nya~," she beamed as she placed the food.
"Thanks," Eden replied, smiling at her.
"If you need anything else, just say it, handsome, nya~," winking, she replied, making Eden's lips twitch.
"Catty," Nadya called her with her melodious voice, her eyes glowing again, "Go find a pole and shove it up your ass—."
"Stop it," Eden grumbled, blocking her mouth with his hand.
