Chapter 110: Preparing for the Mission

After agreeing to the mission, Albert went back to talk with Bepe and Jessie.

"I have some news. First, we're going to hunt a wraith." Albert stated with a serious expression.

"A wraith?" Bepe frowned while Jessie's face went pale.

"Yeah. I just accepted a mission."

"I apologize if this makes me sound unreliable, but my lord, our power may not be strong enough. Only someone powerful enough can become a wraith once they die. It's not someone we can handle," Bepe explained his concern.

"I know. However, we're going to be protected by someone strong. Also, the wraith's attachment is something related to my power, so I believe I can make her my subordinate. She's a general from the Lust Kingdom, so I think she's enough to teach you later."

"Yeah." Albert nodded before coming to a realization. He hurriedly opened the system and found a mission.

He needed another person to finish this mission, so this wraith was perfect for him. Although it was such a shame that the wraith wouldn't be as strong as he expected, he believed the Bonk Commander title would give him more than the wraith.

"I'll be increasing your power tremendously." Albert walked toward the stairs. "Follow me."

Jessie and Bepe followed him, curious as they hadn't gone to the second floor yet.

When they reached upstairs, they saw pixies flying around.

"Ah, Sir Albert." The pixies greeted him like usual before finding Jessie and Bepe. "We have heard the commotions downstairs, but since we're in charge of the second and third floors, we don't dare to disturb Sir."

"I understand. Sorry for the late greeting." The pixies waved their hands to Bepe and Jessie.

"Okay." Albert walked toward the first room and pointed at the first two rooms on the floor. "Left is for Bebe. Right is for Jessie. Just sit on the bed, and you'll know."

Albert let out a long sigh and walked down. "Take care of these guys, will you? I'm going to inform Yale and Irena."

"Yes, Sir." The pixies nodded with a serious expression.

As soon as Albert left the house, the pixies immediately flew toward Jessie's room. They took a peek at Jessie, who was still moaning.

In the end, one of them asked, "Should we tell this to our queen?"

At the very least, he didn't beat her up for no reason or treat her harshly just because he was angry. He treated them with kindness and this was enough according to Yale.

"Yeah." Albert waved his hand down, telling her to be at ease. "I'm planning to go find another subordinate for us."

She panicked, believing that her anger issue actually pissed Albert off.

Albert then waved his hand and returned to the city. He believed the Bonk Commander would increase the learning speed for his disciples and subordinates, so it was worth the hassle.

After a day, Erica finally agreed with the terms as long as they could handle the wraith.

She prepared the carriage, so they could arrive at the frontier within one day.

Albert was standing in front of Raisa, who was staring at him behind her armor.

"I'm happy that you're with us." Raisa extended her hand, recognizing Albert's ability. Since the wraith came from a succubus, Albert's power would play a major role in this.

"It's my pleasure to be protected by a strong person like you." Albert joked a bit. "Though, it would help us a bit if you were to take your armor off when hunting with us."

"I've heard about your power. It seems that you want me to charm the monsters." She then glanced at the people behind him.

"Don't worry. They won't be affected by your appearance." Albert assured her.

"I see. In that case, I don't mind. I'll take off my armor when we're at the forest's entrance. I should be able to move faster that way too."

"Thank you, I appreciate it." Albert nodded.

"It's fine. But we might be in trouble if we're facing numerous enemies. Can your"

"Don't worry. They're pretty strong, just a bit inexperienced." Albert smiled since he had leveled up Jessie and Bepe to reach the bare minimum to follow them.
