Chapter 250: Iras'a Cuisine

Chapter 250: Iras'a Cuisine

"Hm, interesting. Very interesting."

"These are some tall buildings, some even taller than the Bamboo tower back in Xingcai city."

"Oh, that's cool."

"...You can see what's outside, Viel?"

N'eeuq could not help but slightly lean away from Viel as he continued to talk to himself. By the words he was saying, he could see what's outside-- which was impossible, at least by their world's standards.

She and Viel were currently in her private hovercar, on their way to enter her planet's atmosphere-- which made what Viel was doing even more impossible since there were only satellites near them.

There was also the fact that his eyes were closed, or that's what it looked like to her. But based on Viel's appearance, his biology and anatomy shouldn't be that much different from her race. Perhaps it was some kind of sensory evolution? Allowing his species to see miles ahead?

Viel did mention something about him being a god... perhaps that wasn't just a simple remark. And now, her interest in Viel exponentially increased. There was no doubt the Viel was a species beyond their known universe... and she was the first one to discover him. And he wasn't just a normal species either, he could be classified as one of the highest ones.

"How are you able to see outside, Viel?" N'eeuq once again repeated her question, this time with fervent curiosity.

"Are you stupid?"

"S... sorry?"

"I can't see. I have already told you countless times that I'm blind," Viel let out a long and deep sigh as he shook his head in disappointment, "It is rude to ask that question many times towards a blind person."

"That's... I apologize," N'eeuq could only clear her throat.

"It is fine," Viel then patted N'eeuq on the shoulder, "What do you call your race again?"

"...Iras'a."

"That's weird."

"..."

"It is not your fault that your species is lacking in intelligence. I have heard from Jack that there are even species out there only capable of only saying three words," Viel then once again let out a sigh as he turned his head upwards, "Maybe in a few thousand years, you would reach my level."

"..." N'eeuq decided to shut her mouth for now as she focused on piloting her vehicle. She was worried that if she continued to talk with Viel even longer, she would truly start losing her mind. If it wasn't for the fact that she knew that the entity beside her could probably potentially wipe out her whole city, she would have already tried arguing with him.

Now that she was thinking about it... was it really the right decision to bring Viel into her planet? But alas, she had already made known her discovery to the higher authorities of her homeworld. She would not only lose face if she didn't go through with this, but she might also even lose her position as the general of the space force.

Finally, after a few more minutes, N'eeuq was able to touch ground. The doors of her car automatically opened up as he gestured to Viel to follow her out. And without even him taking a few steps out of N'eeuq's vehicle, they were suddenly surrounded by a crowd of Iras'as.

"What the heck!? I told them not to reveal anything to the media!" N'eeuq quickly stepped in front of Viel, blocking him from the view of the crowd that flowed like an unrelenting river. If it wasn't for the guards of the aerodrome blocking them like a dam, then the crowd of people would have probably already eaten them alive, figuratively.

"Get them out of here!"

"Y yes, General N'eeuq!"

The guards could only scramble in panic as they tried their best to push away the crowd of people. But try as they might, the overwhelming number of the people was too much for them to handle. The only thing they could do was stand their ground and hope their blockage would not be penetrated.

"Let's go to the side, Viel," N'eeuq pushed Viel to the side, urging him to hide from the crowd of people that were buzzing around like flies. But try as she might, she could not even budge Viel even a millimeter.

"Who are they?" Viel asked.

"They're just people from different news outlets," N'eeuq could not help but click her tongue as she once again looked at the crowd of people, "Someone must have leaked my report about you. I am truly sorry about this ambush, Viel."

"I see."

"...Viel?"

N'eeuq could only blink a couple of times as Viel gently removed her hands from his shoulder, before slowly taking a step towards the crowd.

"What... what are you doing?" N'eeuq could not help but take in a gulp as her trembling hands frighteningly reached for her gun, "They're just civilians of my planet and are usually harmless! Please do not do anything, Viel!"

N'eeuq was at a loss as to what to do. Should she draw her weapon and shoot Viel? But what if it doesn't even do anything to him? The only thing she would do was agitate him even further.

"It's alright."

Viel, on the other hand, just glanced at N'eeuq, his hands patting the air repeatedly as he gestured to N'eeuq to calm down,

"Relax. I got this," he then winked at N'eeuq before once again walking towards the crowd.

Viel did not seem to be agitated or in an aggressive state, N'eeuq thought as she was finally able to breathe again. It was truly a good thing that like most of the other races in their known universe, Viel had similar anatomy... if not, she would not even be able to tell his expressions.

"!!!"

However, Viel's next actions made N'eeuq once again quickly reach for her weapon.

A large black pair of wings suddenly protruded from Viel's back, causing a strong gale of wind to slightly push everyone around him. He then slowly floated into the air as an oversized ring of light appeared above his head.

Seeing this, the crowd of people that previously wanted to burst through and ask N'eeuq some questions, all ran away in fright. But before they could do so, a voice echoed throughout the aerodrome.

"Citizens of Keman."

The voice started. The crowd of people that heard the voice all stopped in their tracks, turning around to look at the alien that they thought was about to kill all of them. There seemed to be a soothing hymn being played around them, but as they looked closer, it was the alien, humming some sort of tune as it continued to float in the air.

The crowd of Iras'a paparazzi could only look at each other, before letting out a barrage of lights from the device that was on their arm, presumably some sort of camera.

"Fear not, for I did not come here to cause trouble," Viel continued to talk, "I have travelled quite a distance away from my home. I am tired, weary, and most of all, hungry."

Hearing the gentle voice coming out of the flying alien, the paparazzi and the other people that were present all started to calm down as they all looked up to watch him as he continued to communicate with them.

"I am just merely stopping here

...to eat some Iras'a--"

"R run! Everyone run!"

"It's going to eat all of us!"

"--n cuisine."
