Chapter 2347: Violet Creatures



Fourteen Hours.

More than half of the people are either dead or eliminated. Sam contributed to a good chunk of those eliminations, both directly and indirectly.

But after the fourteenth hour, Sam finally attracted some heat.

Despite all the conflicts that he stirred, he was soon targeted by people. After all, even though Sam had special tricks to cover the layout of the Pocket dimension, it is not like no one else had similar measures.

Its just that their tricks are not as easy to implement as his. But they did implement them.

However, in times like these the first to have the control over the land and information gains a severe advantage. Crow got to witness it first hand.

People started hunting Sam and attacked him. However, not a single plot was successful. In fact, the one that came closest to success is the sub-space trick used on Sam at the start, which also ended as a terrible failure.

But the rest sucked even more.

One academy team, that happened to stay intact with all three people, tried to lure undead creatures from three directions to deal with Sam.

They didn't even have the brains to lock the space to ensure that he stays put.

Another group tried to poison and curse him while using a similar tactic as before. They used undead creatures as a distraction. This also ended in failure and Sam even turned the tides.

He trapped them inside a formation along with the undead creatures they lured by themselves.

There is one guy who tried to ambush Sam, but with how clumsy he is, he might as well have tried to attack him head on.

He is powerful, but doesn't have any concept of efficiency.

Sam used the undead creatures and a different team to deal with him. Poor guy got his limbs broken before he barely managed to quit the competition. As time passed, the attempts became numerous, while they became less and less threatening.

In fact, based on what Crow noticed, Sam could just ignore them and dodge them as he pleased. But he deliberately fell in their eyes, he made his presence known and made them attempt these fruitless attacks.

While playing around with them, Sam still kept an eye on the undead creatures that he is breeding.

The energy around them is still transforming.

It started with white, when they became two, the first became red, the second became white.

When the third one came, the first one became orange and the second became red, while the third became white.

Soon, he noticed a pattern.

Every new creature is coming with White energy and it has the same stats as the first creature when it was in the white phase.

A white energy skeleton, will not be able to move when it is injured. All the pieces must gather together and join back with the white skeleton. The recovery is slow.

The red energy skeleton is similar, however, the recovery speed is a bit higher. Same with the orange energy skeleton, this time the recovery speed is at least three times as fast as the red- energy skeleton.

However, it changed after the orange energy skeleton, took its next form.

It became yellow energy. This one can move and attack even when it is injured. As long as the parts of the creature that are responsible for its movement are not injured, it moved like normal. It became much more durable.

Its regeneration speed for cracks is negligible, and if a piece is broken and it didn't come back to it immediately, it is regaining new material in that place, which happened to be more powerful. And when the broken piece did come back, it joined with the body and increased the density of the skeletal creature.

After yellow, then came the Green.

This one's regeneration is off the charts. It barely got a scratch and it healed. Its functions otherwise are very similar to the yellow one.

The next is blue. From Sam's observations, the density of these creatures increased with every passing second, even if they are not injured or attacked, they kept on getting stronger.

The Indigo one, which is the next version has a much bigger change. When a piece of it got separated, that piece is not coming back, instead it just planted itself into the ground and its energy density increased.

The creature regenerated at a rapid pace that wanted its opponents to puke a hundred liters of blood.

As most might have guessed, the next one is violet. They just followed the pattern of rainbow. The violet creatures had a much bigger qualitative change. Their bodies finally transformed. With the increased bone density, the creatures transformed a bit.

For example, the skeletal snake, Sam trapped in the lake, now grew spikes all over its body, starting from the head, going all the way through its spine and even to its tail.

These spikes are not just there for the show, instead the snake was able to launch those bone spikes. Even though they looked like some spikes on the giant body of the snake, when they were launched, in front of a human, they are big as the biggest spear a human can wield.

Only after the creatures reached the violet color did their energy slowed down its change. It didn't show any immediate signs of transformation, but Sam is sure that it is still getting dense, albeit at a much slower pace.

As of now, Sam only observed violet level creature and hasn't seen anything beyond that. But those are enough to cause chaos.

Not long after Sam spotted a violet creature in his trap zones, he noticed that some other creatures in the open field also turned violet. And they became extremely difficult opponents, more difficult than any other player.

Far away from Sam's location.

Rajan could be seen running through a rocky cavern. He is injured from head to toe. His face was crushed at several places, a couple of his teeth are missing, there are several burn marks

all over his body.

His shoulder is displaced and several of his toes are broken.

He could also feel the pain in his ribs, most probably because of the broken ribs.

There is no one is sight, but he didn't dare to relax. After fighting with the star students of the other academies, he escaped when they tried to gang up on him. He tried to run around in random paths just to avoid leaving any pattern so that the others won't hunt him down.

However, in that process, he managed to attract a much bigger trouble.

As Rajan ran, he felt a slight tremble underneath the ground. He immediately leaped into the air without hesitation, but he was extremely vigilant with this sudden flight.

*RUMBLE**

The earth split open and a massive Dog like skeleton came out of it. Its size is just a tad bigger than him. Comparatively it is a lot smaller than most of the creatures here.

However, it is different. There is a violet aura around in and there are several bone spikes protruding out of its body. The dog's fangs grew a couple of inches stronger and on top of it all, it has one more terrifying ability.

The dog kicked the ground and leaped at Rajan who is still levitating.

As it leaped through, the surrounding earth and rocks modified. They deformed and turned into dust before they gathered towards the dog's skeleton. The dirt, earth and rocks conjured together to create a body for the dog on top of its skeleton.

The now, earthen dog, almost bit into Rajan who barely dodged it. However, as it went past, the skeleton of the dog slipped through its earthen flesh. However, the earthen part didn't

disappear.

Now there are two dogs. One skeletal and the other earthen. Both of them attacked Rajan at

the same time. The skeletal dog launched bone spikes while the earthen dog launched earthen

spikes.

Rajan halted in his tracks to avoid being hit by the projectiles and gritted his teeth.

He has been running away from this creature. In his battle with the star kids of other academies, he escaped and ended up in this special zone of the skeletal dog creature. This is unlike the regular skeletal creature and has the ability to manipulate the earth at a higher

level.

And there were a lot of them in the zone for some reason.

He was stupid enough to not be vigilant enough and got caught by this creature which

happened to have that violet aura. And then started his battle. All the skeletal dogs attacked him, he broke through the encirclement and tried to get out of the territory of those creatures.

Which mostly worked in his previous encounters with them. However, this time, he was given a surprise and this creature has stuck with him ever since.
