Chapter 2313: Fighting
*SWOOSH**CRACK*
Sam stabbed the katar into the ground, earth elemental energy surged through that strike. A crack akin to a spider web, spread from there. Then he pulled the trigger to open the outer blade.
*CHING* *RUMBLE*
The cracked ground, broke down into further pieces with a tremble. Then, keeping the blade like that, he pulled the katar out forcefully.
*RUMBLE*
The cracked pieces of earth and stone flew into the air, revealing a giant pit inside. Inside the pit, there is a formation dome, within which a young man is holed up, looking at Sam in horror. Inscription ink came out of Sam's storage as he slid down into the pit.
Inscriptions were conjured with the ink around him. They moved to cover the entire dome as they were activated.
Sam closed the Katar's outer blade and aimed it at the formation. His eyes glowing with energy vision as he found its weak spot.
*SWOOSH* *BANG*
With a single hit, the katar went through the dome as if it was not even there in the first place. He then opened the blade and pulled it in that form forcefully. Just like how he did it with the ground a couple of seconds ago.
*CRACKLE*
The formation dome broke and at the same time, the inscriptions did their job. The opponent who is already shocked and stunned, felt the invisible restrictions around. It seemed like the inscriptions together created a formation around him.
One of the spatial elements, making it impossible for him to move. Sam kicked the ground and lunged at him, stabbing the katar straight into his heart.
"ARRGGH...."
The opponent tried to move. He tried with all his strength that he could muster, but he wasn't able to. It was too late. If he had moved while he was still in the formation. Or if he had moved before Sam even came and escaped instead of holing up, he would have had a chance.
Sam placed the inscriptions around the formation and from that moment onwards, it is game over for him.

The opponent swung his spear, but it was blocked and deflected by one of the inscription shields, while Sam punched with his Katar. With its horizontal handle, the blade is basically in front of his first. So, all he had to do is throw a normal punch to deliver the perfect stab of the Katar.
The opponent dodged barely.
Still, the Katar left a small scratch on his face. He stepped to the side and swung his spear sideways. Aiming to hit Sam with the shaft of the spear. Sam kicked the ground and jumped on the spot. The spear left from under him.
Before Sam even landed, he changed the direction of the spear and tried to stab him.
Two of the Sam's inscriptions acted. One of them blocked the spear's advance, while went behind the opponent and...
*BOOM*

At the same time, Sam pulled the spear towards him, while his Katar is extended forward.
The opponent barely managed to stop himself. The katar still poked him slightly, making him shed a teeny tiny drop of the blood. Until...

Another explosion from the inscription made him lodged himself into the Katar.
*CHING*
Sam triggered the outer blade without hesitation.
*SLASH* The blades cut the opponent in the torso, creating a large gash from which the blood spurted out.
The opponent punched Sam in the face at the same time.
Sam felt the impact. The opponent is a late stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivator. A stage higher than Sam. The punch clearly showed the difference in there.
The physical strength of a pure warrior is also plain to see, but it isn't enough to take Sam down.
As he fell backwards, he slid his foot to the back to stop himself from moving, while he pulled the spear towards him. The opponent albeit injured tried to take advantage of this and maneuvered the spear.

again.

Another attack came, which was blocked by the inscription shield.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
The fire balls maneuvered around the shield and tried to hit from the both sides. Sam sensed
the attacks. They are powerful. The other party is a peak stage cultivator and also someone
Sam wanted to fight.
He is from the Zeus academy.
Sam used spatial blink and disappeared along with his shield.

The flames turned into a giant infernal dragon that came down at Sam from all sides. It was instantaneous. And even with Blink, Sam barely managed to escape with a burn on his hands. He came out of the inferno's range and extended his hand, manipulating his floating
inscriptions that are being devoured by the flames.

He exploded them all at once.
With their presence right behind the opponent, they created a huge explosion of spiritual
energy, creating a vacuum in the flaming inferno. In that space, he saw the opponent's body
that was shaken off the fusion form.
*SWOOSH* Sam appeared right next to him and stabbed him through side into his ribs, straight through his lungs, aiming to reach his heart from that angle.

The opponent tried to move to the side and attack, but at the same time, Sam also moved in
the opposite direction while opening the Katar. The heart might have missed, but the rest of
the body parts are done for.
When he was almost cut in half, barely breathing about to die, Sam stabbed the Katar into his
chest, and activated his own fire element.
*SWOOSH*
The golden flames covered the dying body, devouring his life slowly. He then picked the body
and looked in the surroundings. Within those few seconds, he launched the flaming body at
the nearest candidate from the Zeus academy.

With a snap of his fingers, three inscriptions arrived right next to the new Zeus academy
student who was caught off guard by the sudden burning almost dead body coming to him.

He ignored the inscriptions and barely captured the dead body. The moment he did.

Sam snapped once more.
*SWOOSH* The golden flames raged around the body, killing him in an instant, but at the
same time, the three inscriptions were activated with ominous energy, creating a triangle
around the Zeus student.
The dead body that was burning reacted to the death energy and moved.

to all sort of tricks, one of which is the flaming undead.

The opponent felt the heat of the golden flames as well as the strong bit. He hurriedly summoned a lightning, destroying the undead in one hit. But that still took out a piece of flesh from his neck, making him bleed.
