Rong Yue smiled, not accepting and not denying.

"Manager Bai, you have worked hard all these while,"

However, despite her praise, Manager Bai felt like he was dreaming.

He might have even believed it if the man that had been with her that night was the big boss, but this was clearly just a young girl!

Was she even old enough to understand most of these things?

The more Manager Bai thought about it, the more he felt like his five years in the management school were some type of waste.

"Young Miss, let's go inside so we can return early," Lu San reminded from the side.

Since his first boss was still Qin Yichen, his most important assignment was making sure that Rong Yue was alright. His second assignment was to listen to her and assist her.

Rong Yue nodded, glanced at Manager Bai and headed inside.

Lu San paused when he got to Manager Bai's side and warned, "Manager Bai, my Young Miss has been impressed with your work all these time, if you act out of line after knowing who she is, you will only have yourself to blame,"

Manager Bai nodded in understanding and followed after Lu San.

As they entered inside, he explained a lot of things to Rong Yue. Since she had sent a blueprint over and some of the things had changed when they were carried out, he explained carefully and it was only when Rong Yue agreed that he was able to sigh.

"For this one, you can change it to make it face this direction, the one in the blueprint is still better for the feel the customers would get,"

Unlike the first two, this one had game rings with a special place for families to sit and watch their kids, it was easy to see that the people escorting the young heirs and heiress were just as important as the kids.

Also, Rong Yue had thought ahead for situations when some families wanted to buy this place out, the supervisors had their own space and it was large enough for refreshments.

More importantly, while the materials and game equipments for all the centers had very standard protective gears, she made sure that the ones for this place also had over the top cleaning arrangements.

It would make parents more comfortable knowing that after one person, their children didn't just sit on the person's body fluids.

Since the layout was okay and she gave Manager Bai instructions that he wrote out, after like two hours, they were done touring the three floors of the arcade centres.

The capacity was bigger than the downtown one but not as large as the just expanded middle town one. Since a lot more people fell in the middle class, Rong Yue calculated it and made that one the largest.

"Manager Bai, you can go and start work on the things we discussed, I'll handle the modifications for the game systems," Rong Yue dismissed him and pulled out her mini laptop from the cross bag that she was carrying.

"Young Miss, would you be able to finish the configurations?" Lu San asked as he looked at all the game machines here.

"There are about twenty types of machines here, I just have to configure them in batches, I'll be done soon." Rong Yue assured him, in fact, she didn't tell him that she already had the configurations done and all she had to do was upload them to the machines.

For the first two arcade centers, she had simply done it virtually, but this time, she was trying to override the initial thing that was there. If it worked, she could do it for the others when she had some free time again.

As soon as she started the program, her phone rang, she pulled it out of her pocket and smiled a little as she saw Sun Li's name.

After the opening of Lyfe, the both of them hadn't talked again. Even when she dropped by to thank her family, Sun Li hadn't been at home.

"Xiao Yue!" Sun Li exclaimed from the other end the moment the call connected.

"Hmmm, how are you?" For Rong Yue, it was weird to have someone that was actually younger than her in reality call her that way, but she also didn't want to waste words on correcting her.

Also, she was only older than her with her soul but their real age, Sun Li was older and had done her eighteenth birthday some months back already.

At that time, the both of them weren't friends and in the previous life, Tong Yang that had attended couldn't help but talk about it for more than a month.

Thinking of Tong Yang, Rong Yue's hands stilled on the keyboard and her mind seemed to have zoned out from the call also.

At first when she had been reborn, she had hated Tong Yang to the bones. But now, she could easily forget about her unless a memory that had her in it came up.

Perhaps it was because she couldn't help but feel grateful to her. After all, if she hadn't messed with her life so much, the heavens might not have considered giving her another chance.

This time, she was going to wait for Tong Yang to come to the capital.

She wanted to see just how capable she could be without having her to use as a cannon fodder!

"Xiao Yue, can you hear me?"

Rong Yue's mind was snapped back to the conversation from Sun Li's exclamation.

"I blanked out for a moment, what did you say?"

"I said the college examination results are out and I just saw mine!" Sun Li repeated.

Rong Yue remembered Lu San saying something like that earlier that morning and nodded before replying.

"How was it? Did you do well?"

The total and maximum score was 750 and a lot of universities would set a standard cut off mark based on the quality of their school.

Usually, anyone that scored below 400 would have it difficult to get into a proper college.

"Yes, my brothers are surprised that I got up to 570,"

From Sun Li's tone, one could see how excited she was, Rong Yue's mood was also affected and she smiled, "it's good that you were able to improve, when you enter the university, you must continue to do well and not slack anymore,"

The score might not be good enough for those that had spent all year preparing or even years. But Sun Li had only taken studying seriously in the last month of exam. Together with Rong Yue's materials, getting that score was already impressive.

"Have you checked yours? Everyone is curious to know your score after all, you won the world competition this time around," Sun Li continued as she looked at the numerous messages on the school group chat talking about Rong Yue's results.

Rong Yue, guessing that Sun Li wanted a long chat  placed her phone on hands free and then continued the configuration she wanted to do.

"I'm outside at the moment, I would check when I get back home,"

"I placed a bet that you would get above 700! You must not disappoint me," Sun Li added and then clicked the button.

Their group chat was currently doing a poll for the score that Rong Yue would get and she had already picked the above 700 option.

She had initially called so that you could hear the correct score before hand and then select the appropriate score in the poll. Now that Rong Yue hadn't checked, she could only use faith to pick.

"Don't worry, you won't lose," Rong Yue assured her while chuckling.

She had answered the questions for the college entrance examination well and she knew that she would do well.

Not only was she confident, she even felt like if she lost some marks at all, it would only be because the person marking it had some problems with her perspective.

"I'll call you later, I need to call Song Jian and Wu Hao to ask for…. Ehhh??"

"Fuck! How is this possible?" Sun Li cursed out as she slammed her hands on the table.

The sound of her banging table made Lu San look over as he wondered what was happening on the other end of the call.

Rong Yue too paused what she was doing out of concern.

"What's the matter?"

"Xiao Yue, Tong Yang got full marks in the exam!"
