Chapter 332 - Nether King's Hall Seclusion Family
Soong Wanzhong watched his daughter, whom he had raised for over a decade, ignore his advice and instead heed the words of a stranger. A pang of sourness welled up in his heart. Yet, this was not the moment to dwell on such feelings.
”Nephew, let's talk in the study,” he suggested.
With that, Soong Wanzhong led the way out of the hall and towards the adjacent study.
Jiang Hao, driven by curiosity, wondered what could be so secretive. He had no choice but to follow Soong Wanzhong to the study.
Upon their arrival, Soong Wanzhong deliberately closed the door behind them. This only piqued Jiang Hao's interest further.
”Please, take a seat,” Soong Wanzhong offered.
He then fixed Jiang Hao with a grave look and began to inquire, “Nephew, you left in quite a rush yesterday. Did you run into some trouble?”
“Was there someone who claimed to be from the Nether King's Hall?”
“You didn't harm any of them, did you?”
Soong Wanzhong fired off three urgent questions in quick succession.
Jiang Hao, taken aback, responded, “Uncle, you're aware of the Nether King's Hall?”
But then it dawned on him that it wouldn't be odd for someone of the Jade King's stature to be familiar with the Nether King's Hall.
He proceeded to address Soong Wanzhong's concerns, “After the auction yesterday, I sensed we were being watched.”
“I took the liberty of making arrangements for your safety, uncle. I hope you'll understand.”

“Their leader is a woman named Lv Yingyu.”
At the mention of this name, Soong Wanzhong's expression shifted dramatically.

“Why would they show up?”
