Chapter 224: The Low Leveled Team
Chapter 224: The Low Leveled Team
"This won't do," Bloom was speechless when he formed the team and invited everyone to it. what startled him was the current levels of the team.
After all this time in the game the mainstream players reached level fifteen and sixteen. Level eighteen and nineteen were considered pretty good right now.
However their levels were only twelve and thirteen.
"Boss your level" one of the team members muttered in deep shock.
"Level twenty-one? That's amazing!"
"I heard the top player in the entire game is level twenty-three only."
"That's two levels apart from our boss."
"Damn!"
Many exclamations came when everyone saw Bloom's current level. Only Bloom and Antoan knew this level was nothing. If not for the early three days problems that occurred for him to take over again over his belongings, his level would have been twenty-five now.
"Alright, we'll start leveling you up first," Bloom said before sighing, "at least you will all act as levelers."
His words made everyone laugh bitterly while Antoan was embarrassed. "Boss, the boys got distracted by you know, that accident," he tried to give reasons for such low levels of his team.
"No problem," Bloom sighed, "now how many bows do we have in the team?"
"Twenty-five," Antoan was again embarrassed as this number of bows came mainly from Bloom.
"Good, you use them well and try to turn as many monsters as you can into pets," he said before turning around, "this kingdom is invaded by those flying angels. Let's create our pet army first before anything else."
"But" one of the players hesitated, "we have very few dark points left."
"This won't be an issue anymore," Bloom confidently said, "I don't need any drops. You can have all the dark points falling from monsters and use them to turn more into pets."
This was the strategy he created before and now considered the sole strategy out there to defeat monsters. At the beginning of this darkness era, everything seemed hectic and no one could fight properly against monsters.
But this situation didn't last for more than one day after the secret of Bloom's clearance of the dungeon was revealed coupled with the sudden emergence of the value of dark players.
Boom led his team towards the nearest group while his mind was thinking about what happened in the game after his disappearance. The players' community got absorbed and literally mad about turning into dark players like never before in any other game.
And the way to become dark players was rapidly unveiled. All you need to do is to have a red mark then go and visit one of the dark sentries scattered along the game map.
For Bloom he didn't need to do that, he was a dark agent of darkness himself. Plus what he gained after that accident, he didn't bother with such a way.
But for his team members things went like other players. The issue here was how to kill players with their low level until Bloom gave Antoan a simple practical answer.
Kill each other!
Doing so made them turn into dark players into two batches.
"Get ready," the moment Bloom reached the nearest group of monsters he said to his team before taking out his other two swords.
In front of everyone, he controlled the four swords, each with one hand, to float over his fists while he stood there motionless glancing over the large group of monsters.
"Their numbers never cease to amaze me," one of the players muttered while Bloom only smiled. The monsters walked around the game map in large numbers, each group contained at least five hundred monsters and there were even records of thousands of monsters walking together.
After all this time fighting monsters players learnt their traits and weaknesses. These monsters had very significant weakness, which was the aggro.
Their aggro work over the highest DPS in the team. At first this wasn't a good news to everyone, but after the introduction of the taming bows this became a very golden rule.
As the highest DPS was usually pets themselves, not players.
So players could rest assured while attacking these monsters with everything they got while their pets took all the toll for them.
Despite losing many pets in this way that one studio first revealed in the forums, the dark points gained covered these losses with much interest in return.
The next moment Bloom opened his inventory to summon his current pet. He glanced briefly at his inventory. Since the accident he did nothing but expand his inventory and amass tokens of pets while he wasn't much worried over the consumption of dark points.
He had a constant flow of massive amounts of these from his automatic quests. Each day he would have ten missions assigned to other dark players, making him considerable little fortune after this week.
"Don't worry, you just keep using your strongest skills," he simply said before the next moment he started taking out pets until a thousand different types of dark monsters appeared in front of everyone.
"This"
"It's like another army of monsters!"
"We don't even need to attack to kill this group anymore!"
All started to speak in surprise and shock while Bloom only bitterly smiled. They were right, after all his pets all had high levels of twenty something.
And he didn't summon his entire reserve of pets yet.
Inside the dark auction he found many pets sold at reasonable prices. He kept buying those high leveled monsters while ignoring the weaker ones than himself.
"Attack and stop chatting," he ordered before muttering, "dash!"
The next moment he hit one monster and sent it flying.
"This" one of the players muttered.
"Just like our old master," another said and Bloom had only to sigh.
He knew even if he changed his name and shape, he needed to change his signature skills. However up till now he didn't yet find a proper replacement of his main skills.
"I need to work harder," he softly sighed.
