Chapter 227: Chapter 227: The Fierce Three High Priestesses
Chapter 227: Chapter 227: The Fierce Three High Priestesses
After hearing Orochimaru's words, Akira understood the situation.
It seemed the White Snake Sage had grown impatient.
But that was understandable. After all, it had been almost six months since Akira had transformed into a dragon and left Ryuchi Cave. The White Snake Sage's impatience was only natural.
At the time, Akira had said he hadn't been back to Konoha for seven years and was curious to see what it looked like. He promised to return to Ryuchi Cave later to share insights about his transformation.
After leaving the research department, with no pressing matters at hand, Akira decided it was time to visit Ryuchi Cave.
Just as he was about to leave, Hinata approached, carrying a lunchbox. Her face was flushed as she told Akira she had made chicken soup for him.
"Hinata, are you worried I've been working too hard lately and need to replenish my strength?" Akira asked with a smile as he opened the box, noticing the fragrant aroma of shiitake mushrooms and goji berries.
His words made Hinata's face turn even redder, like a ripe apple.
"Hahaha, I'm just teasing. Thank you for the thoughtfulness!" Akira chuckled, seeing her embarrassed expression. He then downed the entire bowl of soup in front of her.
After returning the empty lunchbox to Hinata, he leaned in and whispered, "Well, I'm all replenished. Don't forget to come by my place early tonight."
Hinata knew exactly what Akira meant, and though she didn't look him in the eye, she gave a small nod.
Even though they had already spent several nights together, Hinata's shy nature didn't seem like something that would change anytime soon.
As Hinata turned to leave, carrying the lunchbox, Akira felt a sudden thought occur to him. He called out, "Wait!"
Hinata stopped and turned around, looking at Akira with a questioning gaze.
"Hinata, you don't have a summon, do you?" Akira asked.
Hinata shook her head honestly, "No, I don't."
"Perfect. Here, sign this contract. It's one of the top summoning contracts in the ninja
world!" Akira said, pulling out the contract scroll from Ryuchi Cave and placing it in front of her.
Originally, this contract had been in Orochimaru's possession, but after Akira's
transformation into a dragon, his status in Ryuchi Cave had surpassed that of Orochimaru.
Thus, the scroll had been entrusted to him.
"This is the contract for Ryuchi Cave, right?" Hinata recognized the scroll immediately.
"Exactly," Akira confirmed, nodding. Since she already knew, there was no need for him to explain further.
"Alright!" Hinata, trusting Akira, didn't hesitate. She nodded and wrote her name on the contract.
"Great. Now that you've signed, I'll take you to Ryuchi Cave so you can get familiar with the place," Akira said, smiling.
With that, he performed the Reverse Summoning Technique, and together, he and Hinata left the ninja world, entering the secret realm of Ryuchi Cave.
The natural energy in Ryuchi Cave was extremely active, and as soon as Akira and Hinata arrived, the White Snake Sage became aware of their presence.
After all, the White Snake Sage could sense anything that happened within Ryuchi Cave. Almost immediately, the three high priestesses of Ryuchi Cave-Tanshin Hime, Ichikishima Hime, and Takitsuhime-came out to greet them.
"Lord Akira, you've arrived. The Great Sage has been waiting for you," said Tanshin Hime, the leader of the high priestesses, smiling as she spoke to Akira.
As she spoke, her eyes glanced toward Hinata. Seeing that Akira had brought Hinata with him, she understood that Hinata had also signed the contract with Ryuchi Cave.
"Alright," Akira nodded. "Hinata is visiting Ryuchi Cave for the first time, so why don't you show her around?"
"As you wish, Lord Akira," the three priestesses responded in unison.
Though the snakes of Ryuchi Cave were known for their cruelty-back when Akira was training to learn Sage Mode, he had been devoured by them countless times in his life simulations-things had changed. Now that Akira had transformed into a dragon, his existence had surpassed that of the snakes by a wide margin.
Understanding Akira's relationship with Hinata, the snakes wouldn't dare harm her. "Hinata, follow me!" Ichikishima Hime said with a smile, as Akira left to meet with the White Snake Sage. The three high priestesses then warmly invited Hinata to explore Ryuchi Cave, guiding her around and introducing her to some of the more renowned snakes of the cave.
They also showed her which snakes might be willing to form a summoning contract with her.
Meanwhile, Akira walked deeper into the cave, eventually reaching the temple where the White Snake Sage resided.
When he arrived, the White Snake Sage, in her elderly form, was already waiting for him on her throne.
"Akira, you're finally here!" she greeted him with a smile.
"Apologies, Sage. There have been many events happening in the ninja world, and I've been a bit busy," Akira said respectfully.
"No worries. With your talents, it's only natural for you to be busy in the ninja world," the White Snake Sage said, shaking her head as though she weren't the one who had been impatiently waiting for him. Her tone was calm and understanding.
"Alright then, let's not waste any more time. I'd like to share some insights with you about my transformation into a dragon," Akira said, approaching the White Snake Sage and placing his hand on her forehead.
Through his mental energy, Akira shared his insights and understanding of his transformation into a dragon with the White Snake Sage.
The White Snake Sage focused entirely on the experience, her mind completely immersed in Akira's revelations. The temple grew silent as the exchange took place.
As Akira's understanding of becoming a dragon unfolded before her, the White Snake Sage began to form a clearer picture in her mind, like seeing a beacon of light in the fog.
To transform into a dragon was akin to drawing a mountain on a blank sheet of paper. But for someone who had never seen a mountain before, how could they possibly draw one? It was an
impossible task.
However, Akira was different. Before his reincarnation, he had been a descendant of the Chinese people-people known as the "descendants of the dragon."
Though Akira had never seen a real dragon, the concept of a dragon was deeply embedded in
his soul.
So, when he envisioned the dragon, it was as if his hand was guided by divine inspiration, successfully drawing the mountain on the blank canvas.
Now, Akira was sharing that drawing with the White Snake Sage, helping her understand how
to shape the mountain herself.
In the White Snake Sage's mind, the vague outline of a dragon began to take form, and she became fully absorbed in the vision.
After nearly two hours, Akira finally withdrew his hand.
The White Snake Sage remained fully immersed in the experience, so Akira left without
disturbing her.
The White Snake Sage had lived for over a thousand years, surviving since the time of the Sage of Six Paths, just like the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku. If she succeeded in transforming into a dragon, how powerful would she become?
Akira couldn't help but wonder.
He recalled that the Great Slug of Shikkotsu Forest was so massive that even Tsunade could
only summon a small portion of its body.
No matter how much chakra Tsunade poured into the summoning, she could only bring forth
a fraction of the Great Slug.
This showed just how immense and powerful the Great Slug truly was.
Since Ryuchi Cave was on par with Shikkotsu Forest, Akira was curious: could the White Snake
Sage already possess power that surpassed Kage-level?
After all, the three Goddesses of Ryuchi Cave-Tanshin Hime, Ichikishima Hime, and Takitsuhime—were already at Kage-level strength.
If the White Snake Sage had lived for a thousand years, it wouldn't be surprising if she had surpassed Kage-level herself.
While Akira pondered this, the three Goddesses were giving Hinata a full tour of Ryuchi Cave, showing her almost every corner of the hidden realm. Hinata also met many of the powerful snakes that resided there.
Aside from giving her the grand tour, the three Goddesses were eager to ask Hinata about
Akira.
And since they knew that Hinata and Akira were romantically involved, the Goddesses boldly asked some very personal questions.
Hinata blushed deeply as they asked about intimate details, finding it hard to keep up with
their bold and curious inquiries.
They wanted to know things like how long Akira could "fight," how often he liked to "fight,"
and even how many times he "fought" in a single day.
They also wanted to know what "techniques" he liked to use during these "battles."n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Though embarrassed, Hinata shyly shared some harmless details, like how long Akira's "fights" usually lasted and how he enjoyed using "verbal jutsu" during them.
The three Goddesses eagerly absorbed every bit of information. It's often said that when men talk, the subject is usually about women.
But in truth, when women talk, their conversations are often much more daring!
As the three Goddesses grilled her with their questions, a blushing Hinata softly divulged some of these minor details, which they listened to with rapt attention. Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the cave, and a huge, crimson figure appeared before
them...
