'I have spent everything on the preparations and it has already started.'

Looking at the overflowing Blood Pond, Maximus' emotions were complicated.

"Master, we have activated the Blood Pond but what happens if that ruler won't enter the region?"

Maximus' right-hand man, Moore, looked into the distance and calmly asked with a thoughtful look.

Moore was not just a right-hand man, he was also Maximus's minister who mostly took care of managing the region and other things that needed intelligence.

However, right now, while Moore was busy taking care of the things for the upcoming invasion from the new ruler of the Floating Island, Maximus directly made a move.

And that move was none other than activating the Blood Pond.

Even the idea of using the Blood Pond entirely goes to Moore and he was a little worried that his Master was a little bit anxious and activated the Blood Pond a little early.

Moreover, to boost his confidence, Maximus tried to mock Ajax's intelligence.

"Master, sorry to tell you this, but if the enemy doesn't enter the Water Region, the Heavenly Blood flowing out will enter our bodies and I don't think I should explain what are the consequences if it happens?"

Moore was not anxious, or frustrated at Maximus' actions; instead, he reminded Maximus about the consequences of the failure.

Maximus silently muttered to himself as he waited for Ajax and his army to enter his region.

After hearing that reply, Moore remained silent and he was ready to bear the consequences with his master.

Not only Moore, but Maximus had many such loyal followers who knew how dangerous the newly arriving enemy was.

Nevertheless, they were standing with Maximus and swore to give their best in making their Master the Sole Ruler of the Floating Island.

'Let's hope the Heavenly Blood from the overflowing Blood Pond will kill the enemy.'

With that thought in mind, Maximus and his loyal followers hoped for the best.

"He is very cunning and could cleverly bend the rules of the Floating Island in his favour."

On the other hand, as Ajax was flying towards the Water Region with his Father, Siora, contracted spirit beasts and Elemental Spirit, the two newly contracted spirit beasts warned him about Maximus.

"Also, there is a rumour that he had an artifact that lets him exchange things with his ancestor from the Heavenly Bestial Realm."

After hesitating for a moment, Rosaline shares another important thing with Ajax regarding Maximus.

"I really hope that the rumour is true."

However, when he heard Rosaline's words, Ajax was not afraid in the least; instead, he was a little happy.

Both Rosaline and Oberon were shocked at his master's words; however, they shook their heads and decided not to think much about it.

They were really curious about exactly how powerful Ajax was.

Even though they knew Ajax was powerful and even submitted to him, they had never seen him in action during the past year and were curious about it.

"Anyway, continue to clear all the unevolved Spirit Beasts."

While travelling from the Fire Region to the Water Region, Ajax was clearing the unevolved spirit beasts along the way.

Of course, it was his contracted spirits and the Elemental Spirits who were fighting and Ajax was looking at the progress of his summons.

Other than Ajax's summons, his Father Aron also fought the unevolved spirit beasts to test his battle prowess.

After going through the serious cultivation, Aron had awakened not one or two or three…but five Divine Rules in a single go.
