Never Judge

Chapter 1108 1108

"Guan Ming who the fuck is this?!" Camilla Guan, Guan Ming's wife asked as Al and Angelo stood behind Guan Ming.

"Camilla, love, please calm down, I can explain." Guan Ming spoke in a guilty tone.

Both Al and Angelo looked at each other and grinned.

Who knew that the powerful and intimidating Guan Ming could be brought to his knees by this woman?

"You bring two men that I don't know into my home and you simply expect me to give them a home to live in?" Camilla questioned her husband.

"Uncle Ming, you can tell her," Al said in a quiet voice, hoping that only Guan Ming would hear him.

Guan Ming looked at the young man and frowned.

"Are you sure?"

"I am," Al said with a nod as he looked at the angry woman before them.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Camilla asked them.

Al took a step forward and offer the woman his hand to shake.

"Good morning, Mrs. Guan." Al said with a bright smile on his face. "My mother spoke only good things about you, I'm Aldrich Lawerence."

Al watched as Camilla Guan turned pale at his words.

It was an expected reaction, he was supposed to be dead. She and her family had attended his funeral, so someone claiming to be the dead son of her friend

"Impossible." Camilla walked up to Al and touched his face.

"Can you see the similarities?" Guan Ming asked his wife as he stood behind her, looking at Al.

"How are you certain that this man is Aldrich Lawrence and not an impostor?" Camilla didn't even look at her husband.

Instead, she continued to study the young man before her.

"Eric Chan called." Guan Ming told his wife.

"Eric is dead," Camilla answered in a grim tone. "If you fucking tell me he survived too I will leave you."

"I meant Eric's son, Eric Chan II." Guan Ming placed a hand on his wife's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"And you accepted his claims just like that?" Camilla questioned her husband as she quickly turned to face him.

"What reason would Eric and Katerina's son have to lie?" Guan Ming asked as he looked at his wife with loving eyes. "He can also tell you things that only the real Aldrich Lawrence knows."

"Aunt Camilla, Uncle Ming, if you would like I can do a DNA test." Al offered.

He knew based on his father's and mother's stories his Aunt Camilla would be the harder to convince.

His father had also told him that his Uncle Ming had their DNA stored in case someone claimed to be the child of one of his friends.

It was an odd thing to have, but to Ray, Cedric, and the rest of their group it wasn't as far-fetched as one would think.

"How-" Camilla began to ask as she stared at Al in shock.

"As I said, love, he knows things that only the real Aldrich Lawrence would." Guan Ming said as he gave Al an apologetic smile.

Al understood his Uncle Ming's struggle to get his wife to see reason, but it really wasn't a bother for him to prove who he truly was.

"Let's sit in my office," Guan Ming said as he gestured for Al and Angelo to follow him while he held his wife's hand and led her away. "Zimo, ask a maid to bring us food and refreshments, I'm sure Al and Angelo have not eaten since leaving Capital City."

Yu Zimo bowed a quickly vanished to do his boss' bidding.

In the meantime, Al and Angelo were led by the couple through their mansion, up a flight of stairs, and towards the end of a practically empty hall.

"My private office, no one will hear us in here." Guan Ming placed his hand on a wall that activated a secret panel, revealing a hidden door.

"Nice, I should get dad to install one of those when I get back." Al chuckled as they entered the large office.

"I told Ming that this place was too big for all of us," Camilla grumbled as he husband pulled her into his arms and kissed her on the top of her head.

"I want to give you and our children nothing but the best, Camilla." Guan Ming told his wife as he finally let her sit.

"Still, too much." She grumbled as Guan Ming gestured for Al and Angelo to take their seats as well.

Meanwhile, Guan Ming walked over to a shelf and pulled out a box.

He took a deep breath and looked down at the box in his hand.

Al couldn't help but wonder what his uncle was looking at, but he didn't need to be curious for too long.

Guan Ming turned around and walked over to them with the box, which he placed on the table at the center.

He opened it and handed Al an envelope that seemed to contain something other than documents.

"It's a test kit." Guan Ming explained. "Saliva, blood, hair, take your pick. Any of those will be enough to prove if you are Raymond Lawrence's son."

Al noticed that there was a syringe as well that he could use to draw blood.

He chose the most direct way to prove who he was.

"Give me a hand," Al told Angelo as he handed his friend the syringe.

"Seriously? You want me to draw your blood?" Angelo asked as he looked at the syringe and container Al was handing over to him.

"We both know you know how to draw blood, just do it and get it over with," Al grumbled.

"Fine." Angelo said as he took the items and drew Al's blood.

He then placed it in the test tube-like container and sealed it.

Al placed it in the envelope, sealed the envelope, and signed as a precaution that it wouldn't be tampered with.

"Happy?" Guan Ming asked his wife as he took the envelope from Al.

"For now." She said with a nod.

Camilla then looked at Al and glared at him.

"So tell me, why are you alive and why did I have to comfort my friend over the death of her son?"
