Neurolink System in the Modern World

Chapter 417 Taking Control

The representatives in the hall froze as I used my telekinesis to assert control over them. Yuki had already proven herself to me, so there was no need to waste time.

I appeared right next to her, this time with my new villain face: my old, good-looking face with short wavy hair and better angles.

I also changed my eyes to red and my hair to white for added impact.

My day-to-day casual face was just the same , but with brown hair and brown eyes instead of the over the top white and red.

After thinking about it, I decided this was the best look for me. Honestly, I didn't care much about my appearance with my shapeshifting abilities, but I needed my puppets to recognize me easily.

"A yokai!" exclaimed one of the representatives.

They thought I looked too good to be human.

It was understandable. I possessed the ability to manipulate my facial appearance effortlessly, akin to using the intricacies of an editing tools in a video game. Every aspect, every contour, was subject to modification at my whim.

"How dare you call master a yokai!" Yuki's angry voice echoed through the hall. Her calm demeanor shattered the moment they insulted me, just as I expected from a loyal follower.

Even the other representatives were shocked by her outburst. They all thought her personality had suddenly done a complete 180.

"Master, I will kill them for insulting you!" she insisted, her tone filled annoyance. She was even gritting her teeth .

"Don't be too aggressive. After all, I am a kind person," I chuckled and patted her head, my demeanor becoming more friendly.

My acting skills were so overpowered that even the representatives felt as though they were in the presence of a saint; there wasn't even a trace of evil aura about me.

Yuki nodded, her expression softening as she took in my calming words. With a still frustrated look, she turned to the representatives and said, "You're lucky that my master is merciful "

'I trained her well,' I said, patting her head with a sense of pride, feeling like a proud teacher.

"I will never bow my head to a yokai like you!" The man in the blue robe sneered in contempt.

There would always be a person like him, someone who seemed to have put his brain in his rear end instead of his head.

"You mistake my kindness for weakness," I shook my head, acting like I was disappointed .

With a flick of my hand, I amplified the strength of my bind, immobilizing the man completely.

As his face began to pale, I tightened my control, cutting off the flow of oxygen to his throat. My telekinesis had reached a level where I could manipulate even the internal workings of a person's body.

The man gasped for breath, his eyes wide with fear as he realized the extent of my power.

"F- F— For…giv…e m…e," he started mumbling.

"Do you want to say something?" I asked, pretending to ignore his attempt to plead.

It was too late for regrets. I kept applying pressure on his body, bit by bit. Tears streamed down his face, mixing with the blood trickling from his nose.

When I felt he had suffered enough, I decided to stop, realizing he still had some use to me.

With a flick of my wrist, I released my hold on him, allowing him to collapse to the ground, gasping for air.

"Now, it's time for everyone to follow my lead from now on," I grinned at them. They were high-ranking members of their clan, and I intended to use them fully.

Three days had passed.

During that time frame, I quickly united the clans near tokyo using my "Oath"

While some individuals had methods to neutralize my suggestions, a little bit of force was enough to silence them. Eventually, with the binding power of my oath, everything was settled.

Of course, I ensured that my infiltration was stealthy and silent. No one detected any anomalies because the clan continued to function as it normally would, without any issues

I also attempted farming for again using the loophole and managed to level up three times.

However, I decided against trying for a fifth time because it had already become too dangerous for me.

During my 4th attempt, my shield almost shattered, hinting just how powerful the attack had become.

Back to the present.

Finally, I was on my last important mission in Japan before heading home.

It would be too much hassle to unite all clans in Japan, so my plan now was to control the leader instead.

It would be riskier, but the rewards outweighed the dangers.

If I wasn't mistaken, the second most powerful Gifted in Asia was currently residing in this place.

According to my information, he was both gifted and a shaman, a combination that wasn't uncommon.

However, what really caught my attention was the mountain before me. It wasn't just a simple mountain; it was an entire town, or maybe even a small city.

The sprawling complex consisted of mansions, buildings, commercial areas, schools, and more, covering the entire mountainside.

The mist swirling below also added to the mystique, making the place resemble something out of a fantasy martial arts movie.

'There's actually a giant barrier around the whole mountain,' I mused, touching my chin as I contemplated. This barrier was much stronger than the one around Yuki's mansion.

I attempted to teleport passed it, but to no avail.

As expected of the number one clan in Japan, their foundation was not to be underestimated.

However they made a simple mistake , and that was to send a representative to Yuki's mansion. I took control over that person , and now I knew how to access the place through the normal means.

I landed near the entrance and morphed my appearance to match that of the representative, right down to my clothing.

After perfectly copying him, I disabled my invisibility and walked forward.

There stood a huge red gate with four pillars, behind which lay a large staircase capable of accommodating ten people at the same time.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Time to settle this," I muttered .
