"David, since when have you been here?" Isabel asked right after Luca disappeared from her and David's sight.

The tone in which she spoke to David was no different than usual. It wasn't a tone like they were lovers, but there was something special between them.

"I just happened to be passing by and saw you," David replied.

"I thought it was strange to see you exercising at this hour," he added.

Isabel looked at her watch after hearing that.

She then replied, "The lecturer who teaches my class happened to be sick, so our class was canceled. I took advantage of this time to exercise because I felt a little sleepy."
