My Virtual Girlfriend Is Actually a Lady From the Richest Family

Chapter 86: Quick

Jane's eyes did not scan the entire boutique for too long. Her gaze stopped on a not-so-long black dress with two slits. The chest of the dress had embroidered roses surrounded by pearls of various colors.

It was tight, plus that it was an off-shoulder dress, David thought the woman wearing it would definitely seem very sexy in addition to being very elegant and charming.

Jane then walked towards the dress, and when she arrived in front of the dress, she touched it.

"Would you like to try this dress on, miss?" the employee asked.

She had been following Jane since she walked towards the dress.

"No need, I'll buy it now," Jane replied.

"Miss, you might want to try it on first so we can see if it fits your size," the employee said after hearing Jane's words.

However, Jane shook her head as she replied, "it fits me."

From the looks of it, Jane didn't seem to like lingering in clothing stores like most women.

This was quite reassuring to David as it was a sign that the next time he accompanied Jane shopping, he would not have to wait long.

After Jane spoke, David approached the employee.

"So, how much does this dress cost?" he asked as he pulled out his card.

He didn't want Jane to pay for it herself, so he decided to take care of the rest even though the money also came from Jane.

Jane didn't seem to mind David paying for the dress, she just stood there silently.

The employee couldn't keep advising Jane to wear the dress.

She then took David to the cashier.

When he found out the price of the dress, David felt like laughing and crying.

Now he understood why top designers were so rich.

Of course, the price didn't matter with his card.

"Miss, would you like another dress?" the employee asked Jane, smiling slightly.

She was probably very confident that David and Jane had no problem buying multiple dresses at once. She naturally hoped that she could sell more so that she could earn more commission.

Unfortunately, Jane shook her head. She calmly replied, "I only need one dress now."

Jane's expression that was completely different from most women who were always enthusiastic when looking at clothes made the employee smile wryly, finally realizing that Jane was not that type of woman. She was of a very rare breed, a man's dream.

After that, the employee folded the dress, putting it into a clothing box that could be said to be very luxurious.

The price of the box itself was actually more expensive than the price of most clothes out there.

The employee then handed the box to Jane.

The latter took it and went straight out of the boutique.

In no time, she and David were back in the car.

In the car, David couldn't help but ask, "Jane, aren't you interested in the other dresses? Maybe you can buy more, so later you can decide which one fits best."

"Are you willing to wait for me there?" she asked David because of her words.

For a moment, David's face froze.

He wondered if Jane was indeed the type who didn't like being in a clothing store for too long or she just didn't want to keep him waiting because she was a very considerate woman to her boyfriend.

"Of course, it doesn't matter," he replied.

Men may get annoyed at waiting for their girlfriends or wives to go shopping, but that doesn't mean they won't do it.

However, after that, Jane shook her head.

"I'm not one to waste time on unimportant things. All I need is one dress, and if I can't decide what dress suits me in a short time, the dream of becoming the ruler of the world is just nonsense," she said in a calm tone, confirming that she was indeed the type of woman who wouldn't spend long on shopping.

From her words, David discovered again her extraordinary way of thinking.

"Jane, if all women were like you, all men would be happy," David said, caressing Jane's hand.

He could not help but praise her because even though she had a sort of two personalities, the core of each of them was still the same, she was an intelligent and virtuous woman.

From David's point of view, the difference between the two personalities was simply the way Jane took a stance when she saw something.

One made her want her will to be fulfilled to the point that she would get angry if her will was not fulfilled while the other, she was very open to things that even harmed her.

Of course, the former didn't hurt David that much because the things Jane wanted were never bad.

Jealousy is natural. The other is that the things she wants are things that are good for David.

She would impose her will on those things.

Jane didn't respond to David's words, just looked ahead quietly.

David thought now he needed to change the topic.

"It looks like we still have a long wait before nightfall, I think we really need to find something to do," David said.

"I don't have any ideas," Jane replied directly without any reaction.

It seemed that she did not have any plans for today.

Of course, they could do something beautiful and romantic now, but that would make the moment later in the evening less charming.

After all, there were plans for them to do just that later in the evening.

It seems like their lives have become boring all of a sudden.

However, in reality this was just because they had to refrain from doing something.

Since Jane didn't have any ideas and David didn't have any either, so David could only drive without any clear destination.

To David's surprise, Jane suddenly fell asleep in the car.

'Is she tired?' David wondered because Jane seemed to be enjoying her sleep.

Perhaps she didn't get enough rest while sleeping on the plane from the United States to Europe.

David chose to continue driving while Jane slept.

He circled around Paris and finally chose to stop beside a river that was also adjacent to a soccer field.

It appeared to be a soccer field belonging to a soccer school as there were children playing soccer, accompanied by some coaches.

David had a reason for stopping there. It was because he saw Isabel.
