Chapter 111 Elite Frost Giant

Nathan raised his two blazing swords and charged forward. The monsters were slow to react, but soon they were all upon him. He moved with precision and agility, slashing and hacking with his blades.

[Ice Mephit Lv. 65]

The mischievous Ice Mephits, no bigger than humans, were entirely composed of ice. They inhabited bitterly cold, icy areas and caused a lot of trouble. When a group of those white icy monsters rushed towards him, Nathan held his swords tightly and nimbly, wildly slashing at all those who came to him.

"The experience I got was too small, Luna," Nathan complained as monsters surged forward in the midst of battle.

"That's normal, Master," Luna replied, attempting to explain. "The bigger the gap between a monster's level and yours, the higher the experience value will be. That's why you'll gain a lot of experience if the monster's level and grade are far beyond your capacity."

Despite that, he was confident that he could still gain a considerable amount of experience from the vast amount of monsters he was confronting.

[Ice Minotaur Lv. 71]

The Ice Minotaur was an intimidating presence, its icy blue skin reflecting the sun's light. Standing as tall as a bull, it had a penchant for violence, and its huge ax slashed wildly at anything that got in its way. Nathan's adrenaline soared at the sound of its loud roar, and he shot toward it at lightning speed.

Navigating and fighting through the dozens of monsters that surrounded him from all sides was no easy feat for Nathan; he had to continually leap into the air and kick them away before slashing at them with his sword.

"I've got to take out the monsters as quickly and as many as I can," Nathan said, still focused on the battle. "So I'd better be selective on which ones I go after first."

"That's right," Luna chimed in. "You should prioritize which ones to attack first, so you can be most effective and take them out faster. That way, you can make the most of your fight and ensure you don't waste any time."

"Thunder Cloud!!!"

A dark cloud began to form above, and as it thickened, it began to pour down cracks of lightning. The lightning struck the ground, sending hundreds of monsters scattering in terror.

[Abominable Snowman Lv. 68]

It was an ape-like creature of impressive size and strength.

"Lightning Step!"

With the arrival of Thunder Cloud, Nathan unleashes lightning blasts around himself each time he uses Lightning Step, providing him with more space to attack due to the effect of the explosion.

[Rare Frost Giant Lv. 75]

The Rare Frost Giant was an enormous humanoid monster with either white or blue skin and a long white beard.

The monsters roared and charged forward. Nathan moved faster than they could react, slicing through the first wave with ease. He twirled and spun, each movement precise and calculated.

"I think I can take out the ice mephit with one or two sword strikes, provided I'm able to hit the weak spot," Nathan said, assessing the battle.

Nathan leaped onto the Minotaur's shoulders as it charged toward him, desperately trying to evade the horde of monsters surrounding him. His sword glowed with flame as he spun it in a mesmerizing dance, expertly slicing through the throng of creatures.

Nathan slashed his sword repeatedly at the Minotaur's shoulders and neck as he tried to hold on behind its back. "Well, this bull needs more hits to take it down!"

He made the most of every move, attacking with skill and precision. He slashed and thrust with his swords, easily cutting through the monsters. His movements were precise and graceful. He ducked and weaved, parried and thrust, and each sword stroke was deadly and precise.

"I'd best steer clear of these bull monsters; they're too tough to take down with their erratic movements!" Nathan exclaimed.

The monsters kept coming, but Nathan seemed to be unstoppable. He sliced through them with ease, and with each stroke, more and more monsters fell. He moved so fast it was almost as if he were dancing, and the monsters seemed to have no chance against him.

He aimed to kill fifty monsters of the same or higher level within thirty minutes. This was his ambition, and when he accomplished it, he could be confident that the war was firmly under his control.

Nathan nimbly dodged and weaved through the relentless onslaught of monsters, his blades slicing through them like a hot knife through butter. His swords moved so quickly that they overwhelmed the monsters, allowing him to take them down one by one before they could even get close enough to strike him. He leaped into the air, always searching for a way to stay one step ahead of the horde.

"Luna, could you tell me how many monsters I've taken down so far?"

Without hesitation, Luna replied, "Sixteen."

"Sixteen?" Nathan was taken aback. He didn't think this would be simple, yet his excitement wasn't lessened.

He ducked and rolled, narrowly avoiding a swipe from one of the monsters. He came up behind it, driving his swords deep into its back. The monster roared in pain and staggered forward, giving Nathan enough time to turn and face the remaining monsters.

"Master, twenty!" Luna shouted, assisting Nathan in counting the monsters he had slain.

He ran forward, his swords slashing and dancing in the air. He moved faster than before, each movement precise and powerful. His swords were a blur as he cut through the monsters with ease.

"Ch!" Gydarra angrily exclaimed in frustration, standing far away and feeling helpless as Nathan faced the daunting task ahead. He desperately wanted to help him but couldn't bring himself to do anything but watch.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing!" he exclaimed. "I want to help him!" "No way, Gydarra!" Linda said firmly.

"Nathan Oppa specifically asked us to stay here until he sends us a signal. We have to obey his orders."

Gydarra's tone was earnest as he questioned, "Can't you see he's having a hard time?"

Linda turned towards Nathan in the distance, who was being attacked by a horde of monsters and caught sight of an Elite Frost Giant, Level 72, towering above the rest.

[Elite Frost Giant Lv. 72]

The giant was an immense five meters tall, towering over even the rare version of the monsters that had come before it.

"Oh my gosh!" Muramoto shook his head, his heart skipping a beat. "Elite monsters at that level!"

Linda's entire body tensed as she clenched her fists, feeling the overwhelming urge to rush to Nathan's aid.

"No, there's no way he can handle it alone. I need to help him!" she thought desperately. But before she could act, she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Robert.

"We have discussed this with him, and he has convinced us to trust him. Let's respect his decision." Robert said while Looking at Nathan with worry.

"This is a complete catastrophe!" Max exclaimed in disbelief as he watched Nathan battle with the odds. "It was obvious that Nathan was having a hard time with all the monsters, and to make matters worse, an Elite Monster of a high level was approaching!"

"Will Nathan be able to rise to the occasion and avert the ending we never wish to see? Come on, Nathan, create a miracle!"

He turned his gaze to the camera and gestured with his hand, inquiring, "What do you all think?"

***

Anonymous Deer: "Well, Nathan's about to have a really bad day."

Anonymous Cat: "It's a good thing Nathan brought snacks for all the monsters."

Anonymous Lizard: "Let's all give Nathan a round of applause for his valiant effort!"

Anonymous Jaguar: "Gotta love Nathan's enthusiasm for facing certain death!"

Anonymous Rat: "Let's go Nathan, I know you can do it!"

Linda couldn't take it anymore. She clenched her fists tightly and looked at Gydarra, who was standing beside her. "I'm going!" she shouted.

Gydarra nodded. "Me too," he replied.

Before they could even begin running, a deafening crack resonated through the air, and a colossal explosion occurred right in the middle of the battle. The force of the blast was so powerful that it felt like the ground beneath them was shaking.

Linda narrowed her eyes, trying to make out what was happening in the distance. "Oppa! What's going on?" But then she fell quiet, unable to say a word.

As they watched, a Level 72 Elite Monster was suddenly slain by a fatal blow. Nathan had managed to overcome the challenge he faced with just one strike!

"Are you serious?" Gydarra was astounded. "He killed a Level 72 Elite Monster with just one single strike? That's insane!"

"Indeed he did!" Robert exclaimed incredulously.

The cheers and shouts that erupted on the battlefield were unmistakable signs of the people's enthusiasm and determination to begin their battle. Nathan's miraculous accomplishment filled everyone with an immense sense of optimism and hope. They lifted their weapons high in the air, brimming with an eagerness to fight and a willingness to give it their all.

"Let's go! Charge!!!" Gydarra shouted with enthusiasm, a wide smile spread across his face. He was the first to charge forward, with his teammates right behind him.

The hunters, all of them armed and prepared, rushed into the battle with a determination to defeat their opponents. They faced hundreds of monsters, ready to face their wrath!
