Chapter 4130: Fooling The World Itself
Chapter 4130: Fooling The World Itself
"Arvonal," I muttered.
He is a cultist, and he has made a sacrifice recently. It is clear in his meta-scan when I look deeply enough.
It is something big and even got lucky in the realm that helped him cross the sea of absolute limits.
"He has to die," I said simply.
The people from his cult had killed a lot of our people. It is only fair that we kill him. I could kill him, but I rather not do it.
The members of the organization after being killed released any energy that stuck to one's soul.
Which the members could easily sense.
I could wipe out that energy, and I had done it, but it was a hassle. That will waste at least two to three days.
The time, I don't have. So, I am going to use the much easier way.
I closed my eyes before opening it two and a half minutes later.
I didn't act immediately and waited for the opportunity. It came a few seconds later, and I acted right in the perfect moment.
The hog attacked with its icy poisonous and it once again moved his great sword forward to defend.
It was doing that when suddenly something struck him inside. It is powerful enough that it shook him and made him lose control over his body for a fraction of a second.
He is quick. Got his body under control quickly, but when he did, his eyes widened.
Hun!
He saw the icy tusks of the hog already entering inside him. Sending freezing poison. That was far more powerful than what I had used on him.
Puch!
He tried to retreat and kill the hog, but it was too late.
A second later, the hog tore him apart and ate him while he screamed in terror.
He could have died early, but I did a few things. That kept him alive for a few seconds longer.
He deserves longer and much worse punishment, but I don't have time. So, I used a quick way that would not waste any time or make me suspect of his death.
It took a few minutes for the monster to gorge on the body and leave before I made a move.
A few seconds later, three storage devices, isolation artifacts, and a few other things he was wearing appeared in front of me.
I had been careful to not let the monster eat those things. Even the monster isn't idiot enough to eat those things. It could sense the spatial nature of it and most monsters stay away from
it.
I put those things in storage and entered inside it a few minutes later.
"So many things," I said, looking at the stuff.
It might be a new limit-breaking Sky Sovereign, but he has a lot of things. More than the last one I had killed.
Which is surprising, but the answer soon revealed itself a few seconds later.
He had killed a limit-breaking Sky Sovereign. An old one and got his stuff. Which isn't surprising; being old doesn't mean they are powerful.
I have come across some that I defeat easily within a minute despite them being at that power for years.
It had been over three and a half months since this realm had opened, and it had created quite a lot of limit-breaking Sky Sovereign.
No wonder it is called the best realm for the Sky Sovereigns. Organizations pay massive money to get slots and see the progress the people are making here.
It seemed to be worth it.
I came out, despite wanting to look at everything, and left the job of sorting things into formation to form my clone.
I have come here for a purpose and have a limited time. I would rather use it to get things done. I could always look at stuff, I got from cultists, it is not going anywhere.
So, I begin to harvest the resource earnestly.
This area is big with at least three king monsters. There might be more, I am saying three because I saw them and their auras.
An hour passed and then another when suddenly, I stopped in my tracks.
I turned and focused on it.
"Fuck!" I cursed.
"I can't believe it. The tree is fooling the world itself," I said as I looked tree with my eyes shining like the blaze.
There is a tree and a few miles away.
I thought it was a normal blue sea tulip tree, but it turned out to surreptitious tulip. Surreptitious tulips are very good at hiding themselves by copying other types of tulips. They could copy, not just their looks, but also their presence.
They did it with such mastery that they could fool the world itself.
I had not expected it. Especially not in this environment. Though, I shouldn't be surprised, given how adaptable these species are.
I do not need it, but I want it.
I might not need its resources, but I want to do some research. Find out how it is hiding it could copy other tulips, and most importantly, hide its level from the world itself.
I looked at it and couldn't help, but sigh.
I am not the only one who discovered it. There is another, and it is none other than that hog
monster, that was fighting the cultist earlier.
I thought for a moment and moved toward it. This time, I didn't hide myself.
Within seconds, it had discovered me.
Roar!
It roared from its place and came toward me while I made my preparations.
Soon, the monster was in front of me, and I thought it would attack me, but it didn't. Instead,n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
it stopped in front of me and looked at me with cautiousness.
"You seemed quite smart, little hog. I will spare you if you give me that tulip tree of yours," I
said to him sweetly.
ROAR!
It seemed to understand what I meant as its eyes blazed in anger and it roared loudly, before coming at me with icy fury.
"Well, I wouldn't mind, having you for dinner. Those tusks look interesting, too," I stated, and a sword appeared in my hand.
