Chapter 3877 The Last Horde II

Chapter 3877 The Last Horde II

"Eeeee…"

The loud, high-pitched sound rang out from eels as they were out of the water and flashed in front of us with lightning covering their body.

The eels are as big as me with dark grey bodies and has silvery lightning covering them. These lightning bolts are thin, but are concentrated and contain an immense power in them.

Sup Sup Sup!

"These bastards are really powerful," said Captain as he was finally able to sense their power and released three powerful arrows in quick succession.

Immediately, the bolts of lightning shot from the eels toward the arrows, while they moved toward us.

BANG BANG BANG!

The loud bang rang out as the lightning crashed against the arrows and at the same time, the eels crashed against the shield.

They rippled as the powerful lightning spread across them and I have to say, it was as powerful as I had expected, but still, it was an energy, which my shields began to absorb quickly.

"It seemed like; I will need to use the more powerful attacks," said the captain to himself, and dark blue arrows appeared on his bow.

He released them, and eels countered before moving at us again.

These three monsters are as strong as the horde leaders, we had fought before, but now, they are doing someone else's bidding. The monsters must be really powerful, to make the fight for it.

I had sensed some special extra-long waving toward the monster, but it was not showing much power, but still, I could tell it was powerful.

I am really glad, that I have my shields, or I would have been shit scared right now. I am these eels are monsters that could kill me without shields, so the leader is going to be obviously stronger than them.

The shield gives me confidence.

Though, I know, I could still die, if I swarmed by the thousands of them and the monsters might be powerful enough to break my shields.

I am preparing for everything, including the escape.

I even had a ship in my storage. I hope it doesn't come to that, but such things have happened, and I need to be ready for everything.

The lightning crashed against the arrows, but unlike the last time; the lightning didn't cause mutual destruction. Instead, the arrows tore through them, before attacking the eels.

BANG BANG BANG!

The arrows were destroyed the moment they touched the bodies of the eels. They didn't touch the body; they were centimeters away, before all the lightning on the eels concentrated on the arrows, blasting them into the dust.

"Have you seen that?" asked Captain.

"Yes, it was incredible. A few monsters could release so much raw power in such a concentrated burst," I replied, feeling impressed by the monsters.

However, a moment later, my expression turned serious. It is not good news; I could see how monsters are trying to swarm us and we have to help, but to do that, we will need to finish these monsters.

"They need special arrows," said Captain and black arrows appeared in his hand and he released them.

Once again, the eels attacked with lightning before moving away. The black arrows crashed through the lightning and passed through them.

They didn't destroy the lightning, simply passed through them.

They used the repelling force, but that force had been spent. If there is nothing more, then these eels will turn it into dust like it did the other arrows.

The arrows once again reached the eels, despite them trying to dodge them, and like before, they attacked the arrows with raw, concentrated lightning.

Rip Rip Rip

Though this time, the arrows didn't turn to dust. They bore the power of the lightning and ripped through the eels.

"Bastards!" I cursed, seeing them dodging the attack before it could kill them.

If they had been a second late; they would have died, but they released the burst of lightning and were able to move away, before those sharp tips could destroy their hearts and the core.

The captain's someone to give up quickly; the new arrows reached the eels, just as the old ones failed and they had to escape once again with the burst of lightning.

Now, it is eels are running and arrows chasing them.

While it was happening, I resumed my attacks. I didn't move from the shields. No, I wouldn't till he is finished with the eels; those bastards are too fast with their bursts, they might dodge the shield. If I give them a chance.

I don't want to give them any chance to kill me. So, I am staying where I am, but I am releasing the energy spears.

BANG BANG BANG!

"Fuck!" I cursed as the eels released tiny bolts of lightning. They were as small as thumbnails, but they were fast.

They caught my spears and struck them, turning them into the dust. The whole attack is destroyed.

That didn't stop me, and I summoned the spears again and they were struck once more by the eels. I did it again and again.

I don't care if they are struck down. I care about them being distracted by my attack. Which is helping the captain injure them more and more with each of his attacks.

These are smart and powerful monsters, but they are still monsters, and we will kill them.

If we let them contain us even for a minute, then we should all escape on our way, because there is no way we would be able to win this.

We need to finish them quickly or we could forget to win against the horde.

Everyone is trying their hard and we should, too. I am not standing still, I am doing something, but my methods take time against the opponents of such power.

BANNNNG!

I was thinking about it when I heard a bang and saw the one eel exploding into a shower of blood and gore.

Captain struck the core, destroying with the attack.

"Eeeeee…."

The two eels screamed and came at us, and the captain attacked once again with the black arrows.

BANNNNG!

One eel dodged the attack, but the other one got struck by it, exploding into pieces. Leaving the last one alive, which came at us with mad rage.

"Die!" said the captain and released three arrows one after another.

It was the fastest of all three eels and it was able to dodge the two arrows, but the third one had caught it.

BANNNNG!

It exploded into pieces, and a moment later, the shields disappeared.

Once again, the captain started releasing mass arrows, and the spears materialized while my lances began to cut through the monsters.

There are too many of them and their numbers would keep increasing.

"We have to kill them fast, we let them overwhelm us; it will be game over for us," said Captain as she released the tens of arrows, killing the group of monsters, that were trying to overwhelm the trio of Sky Sovereigns.

"It would be a challenge," I replied, and he smiled.

"It would be, but not accomplishing it will mean death," he said, launching another group of arrows to with monsters coming at us.
