Chapter 202: The Cat that can sense Bi Xiao

As they spoke, the agents brought in the hamburger and cola Fury had previously ordered.

Thus, the scene in the director’s office showed Nick Fury and Carol eating hamburgers and drinking cola.

Carol also occasionally fed her large orange cat, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

"When I was returning, I felt a terrifying sensation," Carol said, reminiscing about the burgers and cola she hadn't had in a long time while sharing her recent experiences and feelings.

Fury frowned, tilted his head in thought, and then turned his gaze to the still image projected on the large screen not far away. It showed a figure floating in the sky, with a massive vortex of dark clouds and lightning behind him.

"If nothing unexpected happened, he must have noticed your return."

Fury speculated, causing Carol to think for a moment before nodding excitedly. "I'm really curious about how strong he is. I really want to fight him."

Though Carol was a woman, she was a standard warrior, far braver than many men.

Fury had once thought Carol might be from Asgard or have Maori ancestry.

In terms of bravery, Fury had experienced it in the 1990s. This girl was fierce and reckless, charging through anything without hesitation.

Fury didn't comment on Carol's idea but advised, "His character isn’t great, and his growth trajectory has been very mysterious. However, we have some understanding and analysis of him."

"He sees things differently from ordinary people. He’s more like a hunter, preferring to hunt those with labels or certain monsters."

"Evil people, or powerful evil beings. To be safe, I think it’s best not to engage him."

Carol was Fury’s last trump card and an Avenger. The name "Avenger" came from Carol's fighter jet when she was in the military.

Carol’s importance to Fury was immense, and he didn’t want her risking her life to find Bi Xiao.

If Bi Xiao marked Carol as prey and killed her, Fury would be devastated.

As for who was stronger, Carol or Bi Xiao?

Fury didn’t want to lie, but his gut feeling was that Carol had a high chance of losing. Despite her abilities being extraordinary, capable of destroying planets, Fury felt she couldn't match Bi Xiao.

She had searched for Bi Xiao upon arriving on Earth but found no trace of him.

“Meow.”

At that moment, the large orange cat, which had just finished its burger and was licking its fluffy paws, suddenly meowed.

Carol, disbelieving, looked down at the cat in her arms, quickly finished her burger, crumpled the wrapper, and tossed it into the corner trash can. She then lifted the orange cat, looking into its eyes.

"Meow."

The cat meowed softly, full of confidence, making Carol feel quite impressed. She then cuddled the cat against her cheek.

"Ah, you little guy, you’re amazing. How did you do it? Why can you find him?"

"Meow."

"Special powers? What special powers?" Carol didn't fully understand the cat's explanation but grasped the gist: "You can sense and communicate with that special power?"

"Meow."

"Alright, you’re incredible." Carol affectionately stroked the cat's fluffy head.

Fury was stunned, realizing the cat always knew how to find Bi Xiao. But even if they knew, what could they do?

Could he dare to make contact?

Fury knew that no matter how confident he was, he couldn't casually engage with such a high-level being. He hadn't fully understood their psychology and character.
