Chapter 199: Sprite’s Bizzare Adventures. 2013 CE (1)

Sprite now stood in the middle of a throne room, looking at a man that was sitting on the throne. The man had an eyepatch, and she knew this quite well during her Eternal days.

“Quite a place you have here.” said Sprite, her hands were handcuffed by the guards. She looked around and saw the golden pillars, the tapestries behind the throne, and the mighty guards guarding.

“I’m surprised to see you here, Eternal.” said the man on the throne. “But I suppose I can’t call you that now, because you are not an Eternal anymore.”

“If I am, I’ll probably be punished because of desertion right about now.” Sprite shrugged. “Anyway, can you release me now?” She shook her hands in front of the king, pointing at the handcuffs.

The man on the throne stared at Sprite for a time, before signalling the guards to release her. Once she got released, she stretched her arms to feel her hands again, before speaking to the man in front of her again. “So… How do I travel back? How did I get here anyway?”

“The convergence is happening, Sprite.” said the man, Odin. “All the nine realms have aligned, portals are randomly appearing everywhere.”

Sprite raised her brow. “Convergence? Is that supposed to be a disaster or something?”

“It shouldn’t be.” Odin calmly said. “But… some individuals could exploit it in some ways. It appears something is happening back on earth, I suggest you help my two sons deal with it.”

“Your two sons?” Sprite raised her brow. “You mean those brats? Really? Look dude, I’m retired, you can call Pluto or something, I just want to go home.”

Odin just chuckled at her answer. “That is a pity. Although, the last known location of my sons is in London, and I heard that you live in that city. It would be such a shame if something happened to that place, Am I right?”

At the mention, Sprite’s face collapsed. “Aw shit…”

Sprite now stood inside the bifrost, with an Asgardian style armour, and two daggers strapped on her waist.

“It’s itchy… but it’ll do I guess…” Sprite shrugged as she tried to make herself more comfortable on the armour. “You don’t have to do this, you know… giving me Uru daggers…”

“Consider it as a gift,” said Odin with a smile. “And an advance reward for helping my two sons.”

“Well, my hometown’s going to be destroyed if I don’t help. Though I suppose you could ask Pluto instead…”

“I have no doubt he will help you too.” Odin said calmly. “Then, I suppose this is farewell. Good luck, Sprite.”

“You too old man.” said Sprite nonchalantly. “And I hope that your wife recovers quickly.”

“I hope so too.” Odin smiled. He then turned towards the gatekeeper, who stood waiting. “Heimdall, open the bifrost.”

And with that, Sprite came home, back to London, where she needed to do a lot of things…

As Sprite arrived in the middle of London, she could see the portals of the realms above a specific point, where there is also a gigantic spaceship there.

“What the hell…” Sprite murmured silently. Suddenly, she felt a vibration sensation from her hip, her cell phone was ringing, and she quickly picked it up.

“Hello?” Sprite said to the phone.

“Finally! Sprite, where are you?!” a voice from the phone screamed, it was Sersi. “A bloody spaceship is in the middle of Greenwich and you suddenly disappeared?!”

“Calm down.” Sprite rolled her eyes. “I had a rather bizarre meeting with the Allfather just a minute ago…”

“The Allfather?!” Sersi questioned in disbelief. “As in Odin?”

“No, Arishem… of course it’s Odin!” said Sprite in annoyance. “Anyway, It seems I have a job to help the princes of Asgard once again… so Ciao~”

“Wait, Sprite—”

Before Sersi could say anything else, Sprite hung up from the call.

From the distance, Sprite could see a certain God of Thunder flying towards the space ship, and of course, she followed it.

As time went by, Thor and Loki were slamming themselves to Malekith the accursed, Thor with his hammer and Loki with his magic. They jumped from portal to portal, duking it out from realm to realm, but eventually, they returned to earth.

Thor spat some blood from his mouth as he saw Malekith’s body being covered by Aether.

“You know, I thought you’d hit harder.” said Thor with a smirk. “But perhaps I was wrong.”

Malekith frowned at the jab, and red shards quickly launched at Loki and Thor.

“Great, now you’ve pissed him off,” said Loki sarcastically. “How are we supposed to stop this if we can’t finish this fight quickly?”

“Anger will breed misjudgement brother.” said Thor confidently. “Don’t talk about fighting with me, I have more experience than you.”

“Well the last thing I need is for you to delay this any longer.” Loki countered. “The portals are getting bigger and bigger. ‘Tis only a matter of time before we can’t stop it anymore.”

Malekith got more and more pissed off by the fact that the two brothers were fighting in front of him, seemingly ignoring him. At his rage, Malekith’s eyes turned blood red, and the Aether around him grew much wilder.

As it grew, Malekith launched two huge shards, directed towards Loki and Thor. the two shards pierced through the air, and eventually, pierced the chests of Loki and Thor.

Malekith had a huge smirk on his face, finally riding off the obstacle.

But suddenly, he could feel a stab from his back that made him gasp for air.

“You know, for a man who has one of the most powerful objects in the entire universe… you seemed quite dull…” said a woman’s voice from behind him. “And you’re using it wrong. I mean… shards and tentacles? Really?”

Malekith then saw the illusion around him slowly vanish, with Loki and Thor standing healthy in front of him, and a woman grabbing him from behind.

Malekith felt the humiliation that he could not bear. The Aether around him grew wilder and wilder, and it eventually exploded, knocking everyone away from him.

Malekith pulled the dagger that was lodged through his back, and turned towards the woman that had done it.

“Hey don’t throw that away.” the woman whined, pointing at the dagger. “That’s Uru, expensive you know?”

Malekith could only frown as the two princes stood beside the woman, seemingly unfazed by his power.
