Chapter 19 CH : 19
"Vincent, are you okay?" Vanessa noticed his blank look and tried to call out his name.
"Elizabeth," he muttered to himself.
Vanessa furrowed her brow in annoyance.
"Who's Elizabeth?"
He quickly realized his mistake and apologized.
"I'm sorry. It's nothing, just something I remembered," he said, not wanting to upset her any further.
"Don't worry. I'm not pitiful enough to get angry over other girls. You're not my boyfriend, so I have no right. But please don't speak another woman's name when I'm with you because it hurts me." She embraced Vincent again.
"I'm sorry," He no longer defended himself and just apologized. Sometimes, fewer words can de-escalate the issue. He did not know where he learned this, but for some reason, he just knew the right way to handle Vanessa.
"Do you want to stay here for a while?" He asked.
"No, he would search for me if I'm gone for too long. But we can make the most of our time, right?" She added while fiddling with his chest.
"Is it just me, or have you grown some serious muscles?" She teased him while feeling his hard chest. It made her lose focus on the fact that she was injured. Instead, she felt warm and attracted to him.
"Kiss me," she whispered.
Vincent smiled at her, and they both shared another passionate kiss.
"You have to check my body for any injury," she giggled.
"I'll do that," Vincent smiled as he undressed her. Her upper body was as pristine as ever.
They both immersed themselves in the lust they were feeling right now.
Unbeknownst to him, he was growing stronger every time he drank some of Vanessa 's blood from her lips.
Inside his heart, a black substance was growing, occupying 10% of his heart and spreading at a steady pace. But despite his growing strength, Vincent remained oblivious to the changes happening within him.

Ring Ring Ring
The sound of ringing jolted him from his slumber, and he groggily rubbed his eyes before stretching his legs. He reached out to find Vanessa, but she was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he spotted a note on the desk in her handwriting.
"I enjoyed our time together," it read.
Vincent smiled and placed the letter in a drawer. As he opened the windows to take in the night air, he couldn't help but admire the full moon shining brightly in the sky. But suddenly, his heart began racing out of nowhere.
He clutched at his chest, sinking to his knees as the sudden surge in his heartbeat caught him off guard.
"Am I having a heart attack?" he panicked, realizing he didn't have any medication on hand.
He fumbled for his phone, but before he could even lift his leg, he collapsed to the ground with a thud. His breathing grew heavy, and he felt his consciousness slipping away.
"Is this the end?" Vincent muttered to himself before losing consciousness completely.

In a dark alley in downtown New York.
"Give me your money or you're dead," a man wearing a hoodie mugged a helpless highschool girl. She was just on her way home when the man pointed a knife at her.
"I don't have much, but I can give you everything I have," the girl pleaded with fear in her eyes.
"Everything?" The man spoke with a perverted tone as he sized her up from top to bottom. She was a petite girl with a pretty face that went along with her small body.
"Kneel," he spoke menacingly.
"What? Why do I have to kneel?" The girl felt horrified after hearing him.
"I said kneel, or do you want me to stab you?" He threatened her.
"Please don't do this. I'll give you all my money," she begged.
"I'll get your money either way."
The girl felt hopeless as the man pointed his knife at her throat. She finally gave in and knelt.
"Unzip it " he ordered as he held her hair
The girl continued to sobbed but no one seemed to hear her.
"Do you like to dominate little girls that much?" a husky voice interrupted them.
The robber turned around and saw a man wearing a black jacket. It was dark, so he couldn't see him well.
"Who the fuck are you? Do you want to fucking die?" The robber bellowed.
"Die? Hehehe," the mysterious man chuckled, his voice husky and low.
"I'm starving," he muttered, getting closer to the robber. As the mysterious man approached, his face became more visible, but it was twisted into a scary, unnatural grin. It was Vincent.
"Are you on drugs, dude?" The robber felt a sudden urge to back away , but he was rooted to the spot.
Earlier that night.
Vincent had woken up after losing consciousness, and he was ravenously hungry. He tried to eat the meat in the refrigerator, but it tasted like shit. He instinctively knew that he needed human meat and blood .
"I need to eat a humanity or I'll go crazy," Vincent screamed. He knew he had to act fast, as his urges were taking over his mind. But he can't allow himself to kill innocent people.
Finally, he decided to hunt in the dark alleys of downtown New York, where criminals roam. He reasoned that if he was going to kill anyone, it was better to kill evil men.
He grabbed his jacket and headed downtown.
Back to the present.
The robber did not know what to do. Vincent's crazed look made him looked like a serial killer.
"I'll eat you now," Vincent growled, dashing forward like a crazed maniac.
"What the fuck!" The robber yelled as Vincent jumped on him, sinking his teeth into the man's flesh.
The man tried to defend himself by stabbing Vincent in the chest, but Vincent didn't even flinch. He opened his mouth and bit off the robber's ear, savoring the taste of warm, fresh blood.
The woman who had been watching everything lost consciousness as she watched Vincent brutally eat the robber's ear, using his wolf-like jaws and sharp teeth to tear apart the man's flesh.
"Fuck you " The robber yelled desperately as he continued to stab his attacker, but it was futile. Vincent's body was healing itself , and he doesn't seemed to take any damaged at all.
Vincent's eyes glowed with a feral intensity as he continued to feast, growing stronger with every passing second. His body started to morph, his bones and muscles shifting as he transformed into a creature that was neither fully human nor fully wolf.
Finally, the robber lost consciousness, his body limp in Vincent's grasp. But Vincent didn't stop there; he kept feasting, his body continuing to change and grow more wolf-like with each bite.
His fur shimmered in the darkness, his orange hue eyes fixed on his dead prey. A low, mournful howl echoed through the alley, a sound that signaled the birth of a supernatural creature, one that was no longer fully human, but not quite a wolf either.
"Awooooooooooooooooooo," Vincent howled, his roar echoing through the empty streets.
