Chapter 535: Chapter 535 - The Golden Bow of Artemis

The Bow of Artemis had truly ascended to Legendary-grade! Damn! Broken couldn't wait to show this off to Freya-after all, she was the one who had given him the bow in the first place.

Now it had a new name: The Golden Bow of Artemis, and it was not only his first Legendary- grade weapon but also enhanced to +18! The bow now shimmered with a golden aura, its appearance even more stunning with subtle enhancements that made it look more powerful and majestic.

Eagerly, he checked the status of the bow, barely able to contain his excitement to see what kind of upgrades it had gained.

[+18 The Golden Bow of Artemis]

[Grade: Legendary]

[Attack Power: 1004-1105

Accuracy +48

Attack Speed +319

Movement Speed +226]

[Durability: 100/100]

[Weight: 532]

[An ancient longbow forged from dark, silvery metal, adorned with crescent moon carvings. The bow can unleash multiple projectiles at once, detect hidden threats with enhanced vision, and fire any weapon as an arrow, applying its unique effects. Its combination of strength and accuracy makes it a formidable weapon for skilled archers.]

Broken could hardly believe his eyes as he stared at the word "Legendary" where "Epic" had once been. The bow's stats had skyrocketed-Attack Power had surged dramatically, and the bonuses to Accuracy, Attack Speed, and even Movement Speed were impressive.

At a glance, the bow now seemed incredibly powerful, making him feel like he wanted to focus solely on using it. But the next exciting discovery? The bow now had three skills, up from the original two. Surely it had gained a new skill, he thought, eager to see what kind of ability had been added to this already formidable weapon.

[Tempest of Annihilation (Active)

Fire an arrow that splits into ten projectiles, passing through obstacles and enemies. Each projectile deals 500% physical damage. On impact, each arrow creates an explosion that deals AoE damage, inflicting 300% damage to all nearby enemies. Critical hits extend the explosion's radius by 20%.

Mana Cost: 400

Cooldown: 20 seconds]

The first skill appeared to be an upgrade of the previous Piercing Arrows, which originally fired five projectiles. But now, it unleashed ten projectiles, with enhanced damage and an area-of- effect impact. Even better, if a critical hit landed, the arrows triggered an explosion with a significant radius.

It was exactly the kind of powerful skill expected from a Legendary-grade weapon.

And damn!-the mana cost was low, and the cooldown was short. This skill was making it perfect for taking on multiple enemies at once. He could already feel how devastating this would be in battle.

[Eagle Eye of Eternity (Passive)

Passively enhances your vision, allowing you to detect traps, and magical disturbances with perfect clarity. After firing an arrow, your movement and attack speed increase by 10% for 5 seconds. Each critical hit marks the enemy, increasing your damage against them by 20% for 5 seconds.]

The second skill was an upgrade of Hawk's Eye, but this version came with a powerful twist. Every time Broken fired an arrow, his speed increased by 10%, and critical hits dealt even more damage to enemies for 5 seconds.

While the skill still functioned passively to enhance his vision, its true impact would be felt in the heat of battle, giving him a serious edge.

What an incredible passive ability, he thought, realizing how much of a game-changer this could be.

But that wasn't all-the skill could also detect traps and magical disturbances? He knew he'd need to experiment with that aspect to fully understand its potential.

[Apex of Arsenal (Active)

Fire any weapon as an arrow, applying its full stats and activating both passive and active skills on impact. Mana cost is based on the active skills of the weapon used. Legendary-grade weapons and above trigger an explosion on impact, dealing 300% AoE damage to nearby enemies. The farther the projectile travels, the more powerful it becomes, gaining up to 20% bonus damage based on distance. Visual effects intensify with the weapon's grade.]

[User Restriction: Level 220 and higher.

900 Agility.]

And then there was the new, standout skill-the true highlight of this Legendary-grade bow. His jaw dropped as he read the description.

What the fuck is this? Using any weapon as an arrow? How?!

This skill was like... blatantly made for him. Most players had strict limitations on the types of weapons they could use certain weapons were restricted by class or required specific stats. But for Broken, none of that mattered. He had no such restrictions, meaning he could wield any weapon, regardless of class, as ammunition. Sure, there were level requirements, but they barely affected him at all.

And the most mind-blowing part? When a weapon was fired as an arrow, the skills attached to that weapon would activate upon impact as projectile effects.

Damn!

The stronger the weapon, the more intense the visual effects became. And what is this?

As if that weren't enough, the skill offered a bonus: up to 20% increased damage the farther the projectile traveled. Broken couldn't help but marvel at the sheer insanity of this ability. There was no more time to waste-He needed to end this war, and fast.

He was still wearing the Obsidian Shroud-a cloak that granted him +10 Agility and +10 Intelligence, and the Obsidian Sovereign Crown, which gave him +10 Intelligence and +10 Strength. The dark crown sat firmly on his head.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

He quickly equipped the Woodland Ranger set, knowing he would soon rely on the Super Novice's two powerful bow skills for the opening strike of the battle.

Without hesitation, he dashed out of the store. As he moved, Polly materialized beside him.

"Blaze, get back to your place!"

Blaze sprinted toward him and disappeared in a flash.

"Pawpaw, let's go-we've got more enemies outside."

"Meow!" Pawpaw approached and seamlessly vanished into his shadow.

Without missing a beat, Broken leaped onto his four-tailed fox mount. In an instant, they soared into the sky.

As they flew, Broken drew his Golden Bow of Artemis and unleashed a volley of arrows at the monsters below. Some of them fell with a single strike, while others barely survived. "Damn!" he shouted, grinning wildly. "This Legendary Bow is unreal! And it's +18!" The power coursing through him was nothing short of exhilarating.

At the same time, Broken noticed several arrows slicing through the air, striking down more monsters. From the distance, he saw three figures sprinting toward the horde of monsters.

"My Lord..." Anna called out, waving her hand as she approached.

"Kill as many monsters as you can!"

Polly flew high and far, gliding over the fortress until they hovered above the raging battle below. Surveying the scene, Broken's sharp eyes locked onto a specific target amidst the

turmoil.

"I've found my primary target!"

He let out a deep sigh. "Let me check how many stat points I've got available," he muttered,

opening his status window.

"Wow, I have 160! I didn't expect it to be that many. Alright, time to use these stats wisely."

Broken paused for a moment, weighing his options carefully. Finally, after a thoughtful silence, he nodded.

"Alright, here's my decision," he said, ready to allocate the points and take the next step in

the battle.

(Author's Note:)

Every time I create new equipment, I always spend a lot of time making sure everything is balanced and refined. Sometimes, I even generate illustrations to go along with them.

I know you can see the effort I put into this from the end result, and honestly, I enjoy the

process.

So far, there are already 62 pieces of equipment featured in this story, with over 100 skills- both from Broken personally and from the equipment itself. Pretty insane, right?

Well, if you want to revisit all the equipment and skills I've introduced in the story, feel free
