Broken lay on the ground, still feeling the tension of the battle they had just endured. Facing what seemed like an endless horde of monsters had been no easy task. He had suffered severe wounds, forcing him to activate Ethereal Form. He'd even been pushed to use the Fiery Rebirth skill from the Mask of Scorched Fury to avoid a second death.

But now, he laughed softly, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. They had made it through. He knew none of his team members had suffered fatal injuries. Everyone had survived. Starfall held on until the end, Ivana fought to the last moment, and so did the three Knights that had accompanied him.

Broken was immensely proud of them all.

Polly had already returned to the Spirit World, and Pawpaw was fast asleep, content and full, in his pocket dimension.

He then turned his attention to the quest completion notification that had appeared in his vision.

He focused his attention on the 50 stat points first. Indeed, it was a reward befitting a battle of that magnitude-equivalent to gaining five levels. Though it wasn't explicitly mentioned in the quest, it seemed like a bonus just for him, and he felt a sense of satisfaction seeing it.

And then... There were the names Elaine and Morel. It seemed they were significant figures within the Moonlight Fae tribe.

The name of their tribe, Moonlight Fae, had a certain resonance-it made him wonder if they were somehow connected to the Moon Goddess. Could it be true? Was it even possible?

Broken had already encountered numerous things connected to this very Goddess multiple times. The Moon Goddess-slowly but surely, he was piecing together more about her. She was the one who had gifted the Sword of Dissidia to King Elandorr and had taught the Rain Summoning ritual to the people of Slumdon.

But now, another encounter linked to the Moon Goddess?

Elaine and Morel-did that mean they were the ones responsible for leading him into this predicament? Damn, a "challenge"? It had felt more like a massacre than a challenge. The Fae truly had a cruel side to them.

Still, his affinity with them had grown significantly. Even reaching 32% with their Tribe Leader, which was certainly no small number.

He nodded slowly. "Let's see what happens when I finally meet them. I hope there are big things waiting to be discovered."

He was also supposed to receive additional rewards from them, and he needed to claim those soon. But again, where were they? They should be revealing themselves by now, shouldn't they?

After taking a deep, slow breath, Broken surveyed the scene before him. Anna lay sprawled on the ground, while Karl and Yann sat beside her. Ivana was perched on a nearby boulder, her face still pale but now brightened by a smile. Starfall was doing her best to recover, but she was also busy handing potions to the Knights to help them heal.

Broken made his way over to Ivana. When she saw him approach, a warm smile spread across her face.

"Hi, come, rest for a bit," she said, patting the space beside her for him to sit.

Broken smiled back and took a seat next to her. Ivana then playfully grabbed his cheek, guiding his head to rest against her shoulder.

"You've done a lot for us," she said softly.

"I'm just glad you all made it out safely," Broken replied.

Ivana giggled at that. "The kind of experiences you put us through... they're truly extraordinary, you know that?"

"I didn't exactly intend to draw this kind of chaos."

Ivana giggled again. "Really now?"

"Well," he paused, then smiled sheepishly. "Actually, maybe it did come because of me."

"Then it's good news, isn't it?"

"Why good news?" Broken asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Maylock said this might have been some kind of test, right? And that means you passed, didn't you?"

"Yeah," he nodded. "I think so."

Broken had been in a rush after reading the message from Maylock and the others about the monster horde attacking them. He had feared losing Ivana and the Knights he had brought to this strange forest.

But at that time, he hadn't been able to log in, and all he could do was wait in a panic, cold sweat beading on his forehead. Lily, who was also in the room, had tried her best to keep him company, waiting for the login window to open.

"I managed to fulfill my responsibility, to protect you all, right?" he said quietly. "I was so afraid of losing you... of losing all of you."

Ivana nodded slowly. "I will grow stronger. I promise."

Broken lifted his head and turned to face her, gently placing his hand on her cheek. He looked deeply into her eyes, the worry still lingering there. The fear of losing Ivana had been very real -an emotion that had shaken him to his core.

"I'm okay, we all survived," she reassured him softly.

Broken nodded.

Ivana gave a nod of her own. "I'll work even harder from now on, so you can feel more at ease

bringing me along on your journey," she said with a small giggle.

"You're still not tired of coming along on my journey?"

"Surprisingly, I love these experiences."

"You definitely have a unique taste."

"Please, let me prove it," she insisted.

Broken couldn't help but smile at her determination.

"I'm serious, okay."

"Yes, Ivana. And I've already shown my commitment, haven't I?".

She giggled at his response.

"We need to clean up the aftermath of this battle-there's a lot of stuff scattered all over the ground," Broken said, rising to his feet. Ivana nodded in agreement, and they began to walk back toward Starfall and the others.

Broken surveyed the area, his eyes sweeping across the loot left behind by the defeated

monsters.

"We need to gather all the items," he murmured.

Hearing his words, the Knights immediately stood up, moving closer and lining up before him. Anna, still filled with enthusiasm despite the exhaustion, smiled at him. "My Lord, we

are ready to collect all the loot."

"Please do," Broken replied.

The three knights nodded, then quickly spread out across the battlefield.

"Let me help too," Ivana said, giving him a slow nod and a gentle smile before she also began

collecting loot.
