Chapter 473: Chapter 473 - Cedric Cecilia

In the depths of the night, beneath the shimmering moonlight, two children could be seen wandering through the Wildwood forest. They wore clothes and dresses crafted from leaves and vines, which gave them a unique appearance as they moved through the darkness.

It was clear that they were children, appearing to be around twelve years old, though no one could be sure of their true ages. With astonishing agility, they bounded between tree branches as if they were flying, and each time they moved, tiny glimmers of magical energy trailed behind them, illuminating their path briefly.

The most defining feature of these children was their pointed ears-characteristic of elves. It was clear they were not Human. More precisely, they were Faeries.

The girl then leaped down from a tree branch, and with a wave of her hand, a glowing magic circle appeared in front of her, revealing an image from another part of the forest.

"Cedric, I found them," Cecilia, the female Faery, whispered.

Cedric and Cecilia were twins, both belonging to the Faery race.

"Woah... ha ha ha... that's awesome, Cecilia," Cedric replied. "But what's so special about them? Aren't they just adventurers hunting monsters around here? We see people like that all the time."

Cecilia shook her head slowly. "That guy, the one named Broken."

"What's broken about him? Ha ha ha... That's such a weird name."

Cecilia's expression remained serious. "That guy named Broken has established a contract with two high-grade spirits, and one of them is the Nature Goddess."

Cedric's eyes widened with curiosity. "Nature Goddess? Wait, wait... Do you mean the Nature Goddess Gaia? The one prophesied to descend into Yunatea and wreak havoc? Whoa... Cecilia, does this mean a disaster is coming? We must inform Tribe Leader Elaine right away!"

Cecilia shook her head firmly. "Wait, Cedric... Listen to me," she insisted. "That's not what I'm trying to say. The Nature Goddess who contracted with that man is in a weakened state. It means that the spirit won't cause the destruction foretold-at least, not for now."

"If that's the case, then he must be very powerful! So, what exactly are you trying to tell me, Cecilia?"

Cecilia continued, "Do you remember the prophecy the Fae Queen mentioned about someone who would come to this land and lift the curse that our Tribe has been suffering from?"

"Yes, of course," Cedric replied. "So what are you saying? Do you mean this man named Broken is the one from the prophecy?"

Cecilia seemed to ponder his question, her expression thoughtful.

"Aren't there two conditions that need to be met to fulfill the prophecy, Cecilia? Are you saying he meets both of them?"

Cecilia nodded slowly. "Yes, Cedric... that's exactly what I want to make clear."

Cedric pressed on. "But before we rush off to tell the Tribe Leader, we need to be sure of his intentions. What if someone like him discovers where we live? That could be very dangerous. He has Queen Gaia with him, and who knows what he could do to our people."

Cecilia nodded slowly at Cedric's cautious statement, acknowledging the truth in his words. Within the faery race, there is a revered individual known as the Queen of Fae, who holds the highest rank among them. She is the sole original Champion of Lust, blessed by the God of Lust.

The faeries are scattered throughout Yunatea, each belonging to a distinct tribe led by a Tribe Leader.

This was also true for Cedric and Cecilia, who lived with a particular Faery Tribe under the leadership of their Tribe Leader, whom they called Elaine.

The twins kept a careful watch on Broken from afar, contemplating the potential dangers he might bring to their land.

"He doesn't seem dangerous, Cedric... He treats others well," Cecilia observed.

"Those are his companions, so it makes sense that he acts that way with them. But would he treat us the same if we crossed paths with him? What if he suddenly decides to slaughter us all?"

Cecilia nodded slowly, acknowledging Cedric's concerns.

"Cedric... I don't know what I should do..." Cecilia said. "I'm simply going to explain all of this to Tribe Leader Elaine and let her decide how we should treat them. What do you think?"

"Yes, I think something this important needs to be reported to her."

Cecilia's hands moved in a graceful pattern, her fingers drawing intricate symbols in the air. Slowly, a magic circle began to form, and the image of a distant place appeared within it.

The scene revealed through the magic circle was none other than the room of Tribe Leader Elaine. Ivy climbed up the pillars, and the trees and plants within the room were vibrant, adorned with blossoms of all colors.

Sitting on a grand chair at the far end of the room was a young girl with wavy blonde hair cascading down her shoulders, framing her delicate features perfectly. Her dress, a blend of white and black, was delicately embroidered, and she wore a tiara atop her head. Cedric bowed politely. "My apologies for opening the communication portal without prior notice, My Lady Elaine. However, I have something of great importance to share."

"Cedric, Cecilia," Elaine addressed them, her tone gentle and soft. "Please, tell me what it is that you wish to say."

Amidst the presence of the Tribe Leader stood a man with a flat expression, appearing almost like a teenager. In truth, this was Morel, the highly esteemed Knight Commander of their

Tribe.

"Do not waste the Leader's time, you two!" Morel said firmly. "Are you sure this communication portal should be opened in this location? What if someone discovers what you are doing? Shouldn't we shut it down immediately?"

The faeries are one of the major races in Yunatea, and they too have an individual blessed with one of the Sins' powers. For centuries, the Queen of the Fae has been the sole holder of the title of Champion of Lust, making her the highest-ranking figure in their race.

The faery race is gifted with the unique ability to retain a youthful appearance throughout their lifespan, even if it spans hundreds of years. Take Elaine, the Tribe Leader, for example- she was over five hundred years old, yet her appearance still resembled that of a fifteen-year-

old girl.

Elaine was just one of many Tribe Leaders tasked with guiding their respective tribes. But who would unite them all? Unfortunately, the renowned and highly esteemed Queen of the Fae had been missing for nearly three centuries, leaving everyone to question whether she was still alive or had long since passed on.

For that reason, the Faery tribes across Yunatea have hidden themselves from outsiders. Almost none of them have integrated with the outside world—they live in a realm of their

own.

The secrecy of their dwelling places is vital, guarded as closely as their own lives. If anyone or any group approached their territory, it was natural for the faeries to be wary, sometimes even aggressive. And it seemed that this time would be no different.

Cecilia hesitantly said, "My Lady Elaine... Uhm... there's something..."

With a kind expression, Elaine replied, "Please, Cecilia, tell me. There's no need to hesitate."

Cedric then stepped forward to take the lead. "Cecilia, let me help you explain."n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

He proceeded to relay everything they had discovered.
