Chapter 445: Chapter 445 - The Tower and Wheel of Fortune

Yara took the second card and began to read the message aloud.

"The second card is The Tower. It stands tall and mighty, a symbol of strength and power. But there's also a lightning strike surrounding it, a sign of impending disaster. This card serves as a warning of destruction to come. Those who ignore it do so at their own peril."

Freya's eyes widened at the description. "Does that mean the card foretells destruction and great disaster?"

Yara nodded slowly. "Yes, it does."

"So..." Broken said, pondering the meaning. "Does the order of the cards affect the sequence of possible events, Yara? I mean, if this follows The Emperor, does it also act as a warning for the potential power I might hold in the future?"

Yara nodded again. "It should be like that, My Lord... but... I'm sorry, maybe I read it wrong. Let me try again from the beginning," she said, reaching to rearrange the cards. But Freya gently placed a hand on Yara's arm to stop her.

"No..." Broken said kindly. "It's okay, Yara. You don't need to worry. After all, it's just a prediction, right?"

Freya giggled as she looked at Broken. "So, do you think the future King Broken, with all his immense power and strength, is destined to cause destruction?"

"What's the motivation behind me wreaking havoc on the world?"

Taking a long, deep breath, Broken continued, "It might be fun to be the ruler. I grew up in extreme poverty, struggling through difficult times-that explains my drive for power and victory. But who knows what will happen once I achieve all of it? Also, how does this game even predict the future? Is the AI behind it that advanced?"

Freya nodded thoughtfully. "I believe the AI is just analyzing various potential scenarios. It can predict events based on all the data it collects from the past and present. With access to that kind of information, it can make these predictions seem accurate."

Yara, confused by the conversation. "AI? What is AI, My Lord?"

Freya smiled kindly at Yara. "AI... To put it simply, it's the entity that built this world—the World of Yunatea. It's something even more powerful than the Gods themselves."

"Wow..." Yara whispered. "I've never heard of such a thing."

Broken nodded slowly and refocused. "What about the last card, Yara? The Wheel of Fortune -what does it mean?"

Yara nodded and smiled, preparing to continue. "Okay, My Lord, I will interpret this card for you as well."

"The third card is The Wheel of Fortune," Yara explained. "It represents change, progress, and the unpredictable nature of fate. It spins endlessly, shifting direction without warning. The Wheel can bring great fortune to some and great misfortune to others. It's a force of unpredictability, capable of bringing major changes to the world."

She paused, waiting for Broken and Freya to react.

"Umh..." Broken murmured, still processing. "So, what does that card mean exactly?"

Freya chimed in. "At a glance, the three cards seem connected. The meaning of the third card suggests you might be the catalyst for significant changes in this world. Those changes could bring fortune to some, while others may face loss or disaster."

Yara nodded, agreeing with Freya's interpretation.

"Okay, but it's only natural that anything we do will benefit some people while harming others, right?" Broken said, musing on the prediction.

"Yes," Freya replied, "but in this case, it's more about larger-scale consequences-like on a bigger stage, where someone in a position of influence has a greater impact."

Broken took a deep breath, letting her words sink in. He sat back, gazing at the three cards laid out before him. "I really do love the art on these cards," he said thoughtfully.

Turning to Freya, he asked again, "So, what do I take from Yara's prediction? What do you think the conclusion is?"

"You should know the answer better than anyone. After all, it's about you."

Broken smirked. "Actually, it's funny how everything Yara predicted lines up with what I've been pursuing, right?"

"Including destroying the world?"

"Except that part," he shot back with a grin.

Freya raised an eyebrow. "You said her talent's rating is really high, didn't you?"

"Yes, it's SS-rated. That's incredibly rare. Can you imagine how impressive that is?"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"If her talent is that strong, her predictions might be 99% accurate. Maybe even spot-on with reality."

Broken paused, contemplating. "But what if I stop playing this game now? Wouldn't that mean the prediction she made would be wrong?"

Freya giggled at Broken's words. "I dare you to stop playing this game, Mr. Baron!"

"You're right," he admitted. "I don't want to quit. In fact, I want this world to be my main focus-the real world is just a distraction."

Freya chuckled. "Well then, I guess Yara's fortunes are still heading in the right direction after all."

[Congratulations! You have been blessed by the Great Seer Yara and rewarded with an enchanted token of memento.]

[Now you can choose one of the three cards, and you will receive a magical prize for making your choice!]

[So, make your selection wisely and remember: choose the card, win the prize!]

A notification popped up in front of Broken, and he raised an eyebrow. "Oh, a reward?"

Three holographic cards materialized before him, hovering gently in the air. Broken eyed them carefully, considering his options.

Freya leaned in, intrigued. "What is that?"

"The System says I can choose one of these cards, and I'll get a reward afterward."

"Is it possible this is the result of Yara's talent?" Freya asked, glancing at Yara, who was sitting quietly in front of them.

Yara, still looking confused, spoke up. "I didn't do anything, My Lord. The three cards floating in front of you-those didn't come from me."

Freya grinned. "Well, go ahead and pick one! I'm curious to see what prize you'll get."

Broken paused for a moment, thinking it over. This is all based on chance, he thought. After a beat, he nodded and reached out. "Alright... I'll pick this one." He pointed at the card that caught his eye.
