Chapter 1363: Resistance?

Michael "You are the Julian!"

The teenage boy exclaims. He can never mistake anyone else with Julian.

Julian is known as the strongest Pokemon trainer in the world as he has won multiple Pokemon leagues across many regions and has defeated every champion he has ever faced.

To an aspiring Pokemon trainer like Michael, Julian is an untouchable idol that he can only look up to.

He can't believe that Julian is sitting right in front of him, looking at him.

Julian doesn't know how to react to Michael's enthusiasm. Usually, whenever he interacts with a fan, they are in groups or massive numbers, so he can always drown them out and interact with them without feeling anything.

But in a situation like this, when it is just him and a fan, it gets a little awkward.

It is always a surprise to him as to how much he means to them and how he is worshiped like a god by them.

He just hopes that Michael is not too crazy about him.

Julian says with a smile.

Michael "I am your biggest fan. Can I have your autograph?"

Michael asks and starts looking around for something to capture Julian's autograph on.

Lily is surprised to see Michael act like this. Usually, he is very calm and collected, this is the first time she has seen Michael get excited over someone.

She knows that Julian is a big deal but she never expected her own son to be such a big fan.

Michael quickly brought a book and a pen and handed it over to Julian. Julian signed it for him and gave it back.

Lily "Now children, leave us alone. I have some important stuff to talk about with Mr. Julian,"

She says and chases away her children. She then looks at the receptionist and informs her to keep an eye on her children and keep them busy while she talks with Julian.

Now that her children are out, they resume their talking.

Lily "Where was I?"

She asks.

Julian "You were about to give me a name. Someone who could help me find Professor Krane,"

Julian says.

Lily "Ah, yes. The person you should be looking for is named Vander. You can find him in the valley up in My. Battle,"

She reveals the name of the person.

Julian "This Vander, tell me a little more about him."

Julian wants to make sure that the guy he will be looking for is the right one and should he really trust him? And for that, he needs all the information he can get.

Lily "Vander is the valley master of Mt. Battle. Since Mt. Battle has a settlement situated on top of it, Vander is in charge. Just like a mayor,"

Julian "Is he trustworthy?"

He asks.

Since Julian is going to meet this man to talk about Professor Krane, he doesn't want him to be some spy planted by Cipher to have control over Mt. Battle, just like any other town or city in this region.

Lily "You need not worry, Vander is a trustworthy person,"

Julian "What if he is a spy from Cipher? I know that most cities and towns are already under their control. How is Mt. Battle any different?"

Julian asks.

Lily "Well, it's the exact opposite. Cipher thinks that Varden works for them and does their bidding, but he is secretly working for the resistance,"

Lily says.

Julian "Resistance?"

Julian questions.

Lily "After Cipher made their presence known in Orre, a group of people came together to fight against Cipher. They didn't want what happened five years ago to repeat.

The resistance is just in its budding phase but we are being backed by the league.

Both me and Professor Krane are a part of it."

Lily explains.

Julian is surprised to hear the league is backing this resistance, but what Julian finds weird is that Cynthia didn't tell him anything about this.

She did say to him that the league had tried to establish power here in Orre, but failed many times.

Julian 'There is something fishy going on here,'

He thought, but didn't say anything about it to Lily. Before he goes on throwing his theories into the dark, he wants to confirm them.

Julian "I will take my leave now, but before that, I need a way to reach out to you."

He says and exchanges his contact information with Lily.

Julian "If I find Professor Krane, I will inform you."

Julian says waving his rotom phone and walks out.
