“Absolute Duo?” Tsukasa raised his eyebrow since he clearly heard Sakuya.

“Never mind.” Sakuya shook her head and said, “Now, let me explain what Blaze is. In simple terms, you can say that it is a weapon manifested from the soul.”

“So it’s like Mikuni-san’s stiletto knives and my cube?”

“That’s right.” Sakuya nodded and said, “However, you’re an Exception, an Irregular, you’re a special among all the Exceed that has even been born in this world.”

“Why am I special?” Tsukasa was confused, wondering what his difference was with other Exceeds.

“As I told you before, after being injected with Lukifer, you’ll gain the power to manifest your soul into a weapon. However, that choice of weapon has some restrictions.”

“Restrictions?”

“Yes.”

There were several restrictions for one to choose their Blaze.

First, Blazes are formed from a desire or wish, such as revenge or hope for others.

Second, they are almost always weapons.

“Lastly, they are derived from simple weapons.” Sakuya smiled and said, “However, you’re different. You have broken those restrictions. Not only is the shape of your Blaze not a weapon, but you can even transform your Blaze into a complicated weapon or even a vehicle easily.”

Tsukasa now understood why he was being called an Exception or an Irregular.

“So, are there any more questions you want to ask?” Sakuya asked.

“So, like a normal weapon, a Blaze can also hurt someone?” Tsukasa asked.

While Tsukasa hadn’t tested it, he could tell that a Blaze wasn’t that much different from a Device.

It had two forms which were similar to the Illusionary form that would only hurt the soul not, not physical damage, and the other form was a form that could be used to hurt and even kill someone.

Unlike him, who could transform his Blaze into a rocket, airplane, jet, and many other complicated things. The rest could only transform their Blaze into a simple weapon, which meant they didn’t need to use that much energy, right?

Even Blazers also had their unique abilities, so how could Exceed not have their unique ability?
