Chapter 104 The Unwilling Audience!
(^0^)
As time went by, everyone was getting more and more drawn into the world of One Piece.
All the characters, whether bad or good, all fitted right in place with this first episode.
But the 2 people who caught their attention were Senior Luffy and Coby.
They didn't bother calling Coby senior because his aura was too weak, and his character was also cowardly.
Another thing that shocked them silly was Senior Luffy's willpower.
Even though he was far from being the King of the pirates, he would need five up, even if he had to die fighting for it.
And from his character, they could tell that he was an honest person too.
His words struck everyone as they watched him give Coby the confidence to join the Marines.
What made them appreciate Luffy was that even though the Marines were the natural-born enemies of Pirates, he still told Coby to chase his own dreams.
One day, they might fight on the battlefield on opposing ends, but the bond between them would never die.
No matter his decision, he had to give it his all and see it through, but he also had to be the type of Marine that deserved Luffy's respect.
When Luffy spoke in a heart-to-heart manner, the music changed, and his words carried power within them, making the audience feel pumped up.
"Wooo~~... Senior Luffy is just too good. I will never give up on what I believe too."
"That's right. I never believed I could be a cultivator because it's too expensive. Now, look at me? Even though I just stepped on the road of immortality, I will never give up!"
"~Ooooo... I feel like senior Luffy is talking directly to me. Don't worry, Senior. I will never disappoint you!!"
Nianzu, Tsongai, and Old Fru trembled in silence as their minds went to their most precious memories.
Yes. They should never lose sight of their main goal when they began their cultivation journey.
Whether rich, poor, or not, everyone has a goal or desire deep within their souls.
From Luffy's speech, that goal resurfaced again, igniting their burning passion.
Of course, they also wanted to do things like Luffy.
.
Everyone was immersed in their own world, thinking about their hidden goals.
Some wanted to care for their sick parents, and others wanted to give their families better lives.
Of course, some wanted to get engraved as legends, while some just wanted fame to make their loved ones proud.
They all take Luffy's words to heart.
But before they could further dwell on it, they soon heard a loud explosive sound.
~Bam!
The ceiling above Coby cracked, and in came a very arrogant lady.
Oh no! It's Alvida!
Coby was shivering silly, but senior Luffy just stood there with a confused expression.
["Hey Coby... Who's the fat lady?"]
-silence-
Both the audience and those in the One Piece world froze in disbelief.
Who's the fat lady?
Of course, it was Pirate Lady Alvida!
You know, the one who kept forcing people to call her the most beautiful woman on the seas?
Anyone who didn't say she was the most beautiful would definitely get killed.
So what the hell is senior Luffy thinking?
After all, Alvida's strength and aura were very domineering when compared to Luffy... Or so they thought.
Because what happened next shocked them so much that they forgot to breathe.
What??!!!
Luffy held onto a post and ran towards one end of the ship.
And as he ran, his hands stretched unnaturally, extending like rubber.
From there, he slingshot himself back, hitting the many clusters of enemies on the ship.
So cool!
What exactly was Senior Luffy?
Was he even human?
Wait, what did senior Luffy mean when he said he was a Rubber Man?
(°0°)
.
-Silence-
The entire audience went silent as they perked up their ears, trying to get the full gist of the matter.
Those who still had food up till this moment dared not take another crunchy bite for fear of mishearing anything.
Even Nianzu, Tsongai, and Old Fru grabbed their seats so hard that if it were any ordinary chairs, it would've been broken by now.
What was the mystery behind this strange phenomenon?
From the look Senior Alvida was giving, it looked like she knew the truth of the matter.
Senior Alvida silently looked at Senior Luffy, scrutinizing him from head to toe.
["So... You've eaten a Devil's Fruit, haven't you?"]
["Yeah. The Gum-Gum Fruit.]
Devil's Fruit?
The Gum-Gum Fruit?
What the hell were these?
Everyone was itching to know more, but sadly, Coby cut their conversation short by insulting lady Alvida... making her livid.
It was just that apart from Coby making her pissed off, Coby also made the audience feel like strangling him alive.
Bro... Can't you see that they wanted to know more about the Devil Fruits?
What the hell?
If they could impact Coby, they would've also smacked the sh** out of him.
So far, Coby was the only character with a strength similar to theirs or weaker.
But everyone else they had seen so far in the One-piece world was stronger... Even Alvida's goons were stronger.
Coby was like a weak turtle tossed into their world.
He was just too weak!
That said, they had no problem with him earlier on.
But now they did.
Couldn't he tell that they, the audience, wanted to know more about these Devil fruits?
.
The audience had no choice but to sulk while appreciating the battle between senior Luffy and senior Alvida.
Of course, the battle alone took away their previous depression.
Luffy's arm stretched like rubber, extending out of the ship towards the waters in a blink of an eye.
And soon, he retracted his hand back with so much force that they in the audience were trembling from its might.
["GUM-GUM~... Pistol!!]
~Bam!
["Ahhhh~~]
The attack landed straight on Senior Alvida's upper belly, knocking her out of the ship clean.
F***!!
Everyone was fidgeting in their seats over the epic battle.
Hahahahhahaha!
Senior Luffy is just too awesome!
Just like that, the episode soon came to an end.
And again, they spotted that orange-haired girl duping some pirates and fleeing the scene with their treasures.
Just who was she?
Well, they knew that soon they would find out.
But now, Luffy and Coby were on a small rowing boat, talking about someone else.
Zoro, the pirate hunter?
Instantly, the episode ended with the image of some guy tied to a wooden cross under the blazing sun.
Just his look was too cool!
Now, they wanted to know more about him.
With the episode over, everyone's consciousness was brought back to the movie theater as if it were all a dream.
But they knew it wasn't!
Now, rather than getting up, they were still immersed in awe and unwillingness.
Dammit!
How could the episode end in this way?
Who the hell was this Zoro guy?
What did he do to get into that situation?
And what in heaven's name were Devil Fruits?!!
