I Transmigrate as a Single Mother of the Three Antagonists

Chapter 171 - Cabin Dream

Chapter 171: Cabin Dream

In her sleep, Qiu Tong seemed to have found a comfortable support. She gently rubbed Jin Yang’s shoulder and took the initiative to hold his arm as she continued to sleep.

Jin Yang sat up stiffly, not daring to move an inch. He could feel Qiu Tong’s steady breathing on his neck. His heartbeat followed her breathing rhythm and in just a few minutes, his palms were covered in a thin layer of sweat.

Jin Yang raised his hand to support Qiu Tong’s neck and her face, allowing her to sleep more comfortably.

In the noisy cabin, Jin Yang was also gradually getting sleepy under Qiu Tong’s influence. He closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat.

In his half-asleep state, Jin Yang suddenly recalled some vague memories.

In the past, there seemed to have been a woman who used to lean against him like this. Her stomach bulged slightly and Jin Yang gently placed his hand on it.

“You’re going to be a father soon. Are you happy?”

Jin Yang felt his heart ache. He wanted to see the woman’s face clearly, but it was as if there were layers of mist surrounding her.

A gentle breeze blew past. Through the mist, Jin Yang saw that the woman’s eyes vaguely resembled Qiu Tong’s. He wanted to take a closer look, but a sharp pain came from his temples. He covered his head in pain, and his abrupt actions woke Qiu Tong up.

Qiu Tong saw that it was Jin Yang beside her. She was surprised to see his pained expression and hurriedly rubbed his temples to relieve the pain.

Jin Yang narrowed his eyes and gripped Qiu Tong’s wrist tightly. He shook his head lightly and said, “Don’t go!”

Qiu Tong looked at him strangely. She could sense Jin Yang’s desire to keep her. She comforted him softly, “Song Yan? What’s wrong?”

Her voice woke Jin Yang up from his trance. He pushed Qiu Tong’s hand away awkwardly and tidied his messy clothes. “Sorry.”

Jin Yang realized that he had lost his composure earlier. Seeing Qiu Tong’s worried gaze, he could only try to offer an excuse. “I had a nightmare just now.”

Qiu Tong did not probe further. A strange silence descended between them.

Why did memories that didn’t belong to him keep appearing in his mind?

And those memories were very clear. All the details were very real, including the emotions and scents…

Jin Yang’s gaze landed on Qiu Tong. From the first time they met, Qiu Tong gave him an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

Every time he interacted more intimately with her, Jin Yang would recall some memory fragments.

This influence was becoming increasingly intense and had gone beyond Jin Yang’s control.

Jin Yang pursed his thin lips and sat up straight. He wanted to keep a distance from the woman beside him and cut off this connection.

But he heard Qiu Tong cough and couldn’t help asking, “Do you have a cold?”

“No. Maybe it’s just that the cabin is a little dry and my body isn’t used to it.”

Qiu Tong replied hoarsely, feeling a little dizzy.

The attendant pushed a cart over from behind. Qiu Tong saw her distributing drinks and wanted to get a glass of warm water.

Qiu Tong raised her hand, but a brat sitting in the row behind her stood up noisily.

The brat was holding a plastic cup filled with warm water. Ignoring his parents’ attempts to stop him, he continued to fuss and jump around.

Splash—

The plane rocked again and he lost his balance, splashing the warm water all over Qiu Tong’s back…

The brat’s parents stood up in a panic and apologized, “I’m sorry!”

The mother looked at Qiu Tong’s wet shirt and handed her a tissue to wipe off the water.
