I Transmigrate as a Single Mother of the Three Antagonists

Chapter 147 - Splitting Up

Chapter 147: Splitting Up

There was an extremely strong telepathy between Jin Yang and Song Yan. Song Yan sensed his presence almost immediately and looked out the window.

“Things have become interesting!”

A teasing smile appeared on Song Yan’s face. From the corner of his eye, he saw Qiu Tong and the leader of the refugees locked in a stalemate. “Be careful!”

Qiu Tong had an extremely powerful healing ability, but she had no chance to use it now.

The refugees did not stop attacking. From time to time, Qiu Tong would glance over at the mercenaries protecting the children. With that distraction, she ended up getting some injuries.

Song Yan looked at the leader of the refugees who was raising his machete high. He could have pushed Qiu Tong away, but when he thought of Jin Yang, he ran straight to Qiu Tong’s side and hugged her tightly, using his body to endure the attack on her behalf…

“Are you all right?”

Qiu Tong supported Song Yan anxiously and looped his arm over her shoulder.

Ke Le heard her shout and rushed over to support her. “Boss, bring him to the window! I’ll help you stall for time!”

“Hurry up and think of a way to escape. We can’t be trapped in this villa anymore. We are being forced into a corner here!”

Ke Le noticed this problem and growled hoarsely.

Qiu Tong nodded. “Hang in there! I’ll settle his injuries first and then give you guys the signal to break out.”

“Let’s split up and meet up in the forest outside!”

With that, Qiu Tong helped Song Yan into a sitting position on the floor by the window. She looked at the knife wound on Song Yan’s back and narrowed her eyes, wanting to use her power to treat him. She leaned closer and carefully examined the extent of the wound. From Jin Yang’s perspective, it was an especially suggestive scene.

Song Yan stared at Jin Yang provocatively. He raised his eyebrows and held Qiu Tong’s hand. He deliberately coughed weakly. “It’s alright.”

“Don’t waste time on me. We have to leave this place as soon as possible.”

“The situation in the villa district must have attracted the attention of the police. They will find a way to control the rioters.”

Song Yan’s face was as pale as paper. He leaned his head gently on Qiu Tong’s shoulder, his hot breath landing on Qiu Tong’s neck. For some reason, Qiu Tong instinctively dodged. She supported Song Yan’s shoulders with both hands, but realized that his eyes were fixed on something outside the window.

“What are you looking at?”

Qiu Tong followed his gaze and looked over. Jin Yang was nowhere to be seen on the other side of the hill. She frowned in confusion.

Song Yan recalled Jin Yang’s conflicted expression and suppressed the smug smile on his face. He shook his head and propped himself up on the ground. He said, “We have to seize the moment and break out! They are a little tired now. This is the best opportunity!”

Qiu Tong found this a little strange, but she agreed with him. She sent Ke Le a signal and everyone forced their way out in different directions.

The mercenaries split up and carried the children away. They were pursued by the refugees in the bushes outside the villa. They hid Little Yu in the bushes and reminded her in a low voice, “Don’t make a sound. We will come back to get you after we chase away the bad guys!”

Little Yu covered her mouth with her hand, afraid of giving them even more trouble. She squatted in the bushes, tears welling up in her eyes.

Time passed minute by minute. After a fierce battle with the refugees, the mercenaries were in a hurry to meet up with Ke Le and forgot about Little Yu, who was still in the bushes…

“Uncles? Where are you?”

Little Yu stood up in fear and ran crying towards the forest.

A lone refugee discovered her and wanted to attack and kidnap her as a hostage, but was knocked unconscious by Jin Yang.

“Don’t be afraid!”

Jin Yang bent over and hugged Little Yu, coaxing her softly.
