Chapter 125: First generation, Dragon.
[The dragon is 15 meters away.]
'Yeah I can see that...' Ha Joon responded, staring at the screen of his phone.
He could see a small tiny dot blinking on the map. It was in the forest he just so happened to be journeying right through.
"We are here." Said Ha Joon before he stopped his horse.
"Eh? Here? In the forest?" Mordred also stopped her horse.
"Shocked? Don't be, you're dumb so it's understandable." Ha Joon leaped down from his horse, assisting Yukio too.
"You just called me dumb..." Mordred looked at him.
"No I didn't."
"Yes you did, you said..."
Ha Joon immediately covered Yukio's mouth with his hand, "Focusing on the wrong thing is never good, let's finish what we came for and head home."
He looked towards the forest, 'This way right?'
[Correct.]
"Okay then, Mordred, let's g-" just as he turned his attention to her, he noticed she was glaring at him.
And he knew why.
"Sigh... You're not dumb Mordred, I just said that as a joke."
"Why would you think I'd be affected by that? It means nothing to me..." Mordred began to walk away.
"Wrong way."
She comes back, taking the other route without saying a word.
...
Now they were in the thick forest, Mordred being the one in front while Ha Joon and his maid remained at the back.
'From what I know, if you're to battle a dragon with the sole purpose of taming it, a natural spell is released that blocks the mana in your body from flowing, hence stopping you from using magic. In which case, you're to defeat the dragon without any magic whatsoever.'
Ha Joon smiled with a frown on his face, 'That might be a bit difficult, it's a dragon after all. Welp, good thing the spell can be broken the moment you decide to back out, as I said before, the worst thing that can happen in me is killing the dragon'.
"My lord, are you sure we are heading towards the right place?" Yukio uttered.
"Yeah of course, you doubt your king?" Ha Joon looked at her.
"No, I apologise." Yukio faced her front, but the worry on her face.
Ha Joon observed her for a while, but he quickly pushed it to the side to look at the screen of his magic smartphone.
"It's...a river." Mordred blurted out.
She was standing in front of a running spring with a giant rock under the waterfall. At the other side was another forest that had been split by the waterfall.
"Yes, a waterfall." Ha Joon walked forward, pulling off his cape and handing it to Yukio, who held it without so much as a complaint.
The ground was filled with broken rocks and dry sand, making every step he took give out a crunchy sound.
Walking past Mordred, Ha Joon smiled as he rolled up his sleeves.
It took her a minute, "Wait... The dragon is here?!" She voiced, her surprise painted on her face.
"Definitely, it seems our little friend is having a slumber though, too bad, I've never been one to favour people sleeping when I'm awake."
Was Ha Joon's reply as he stood in the river, looking at the rock under the waterfall.
'How was he able to tell a dragon stays here? I can't sense any type of energy that would indicate that... tsk, he is doing something I don't understand again.' Mordred bit her lower lip, her veins popping at the side of her face.
[The dragon awaits you, I should warn you, this is not a regular dragon, it seems to be from the first generation of their species.]
'That's strange, I didn't know that mattered. This is the part where you explain Ciel.'
[Sigh! Your laziness is quite astounding.]
Ha Joon flinched, the verbal attack stabbing his heart.
[But I shall explain, Dragons are of three generations, the first generation, being the founding dragons. They were known to be beings of higher power who got their powers directly from the world. They shared their powers with second generation dragons, such as Pendragon, and Drake the dragon, and so many other dragons.
The third generations are the weaker dragons, usually having the same features as lizard men.]
Ha Joon was already stretching.
'Pendragon was not a first generation dragon? Fuck my ancestors for not being the best. But it doesn't matter, i'm about to bring home a first generation dragon.'
"Ha- Your majesty! Your forest your blade!" Mordred yelled, pointing at the blade Yukio was hugging to her chest.
"Oh that, I don't need it."
"Wh.. whaaaaaaat? What do you mean you don't need it?! Blah blah blah blah..."
Ha Joon stopped listening, allowing Mordred's voice to settle at the back of his mind.
'Now then, let's awaken this dragon... shall we?' he grinned.
_Tap!_
His finger pushed against the button on his screen, and instantly, a loud high frequency sound echoed from the speaker on his smartphone.
Mordred and Yukio fell to their knees, covering their ears. The sound was loud, anyone for miles could hear it.
Finally it stopped.
"What is this man doing again?!" Mordred groaned like an angry beast.
"He wants to call out the dragon." Yukio spoke, her eyes fixed on her king, "No... He's provoking it".
Raaaaaaaaaaaerrrrr (Who dares disturb my sleep!!!)
Raaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrr (You're dead! The nerve! The nerve! Prepare yourself!!!)
_grin_
'Hook line and sinker'.
The water from the river splashed heavily as the dragon's raw got even louder, the sound made Yukio and Mordred feel fear, unlike Ha Joon's own that was simply just irritating... The roar of this dragon... Was fear itself.
And the fear, stood in front of the King.
It's white scales, golden glowing eyes. It's body size that could easily surpass two mountains combined.
But what caught Ha Joon's attention was not any of that, but the fact, this dragon...
Was a First generation!!!
'This... this should be fun.'
Ha Joon and the dragon stared at one another as the water came falling back to the ground in the form of rain drops.
