Chapter 118: The hedgehog tribe is prickly (2)

Felix observed their long prickly hair as he thought about Manitola said, he didn't reveal himself as he slowly approached them from the front and then struck one of them quickly in the stomach making him fall back to the ground where his hair was stuck into the ground.

Felix already talked with Willy to silence them so they wouldn't be able to shout for reinforcements, the wall was a little bit of distance away from the buildings as it was a poisonous hazard now due to the help of the snails, at first glance it looked like it was only normal spikes but poisonous ones were hidden here and there in the wall, even Felix and the others didn't realize it at first glance but after he jumped to the other side Felix realized that they were lucky no one touched the wall.

Willy sent out some waves of hex energy as he said:

"Silence of the woods!"

The downed hedgehog's voice was sealed while the one who was still up glared around as he realized that someone was here! There was no reason for his compatriot to fall this hard to the point that he would be stuck into the ground.

He tried to shout for help only to realize that his voice was gone and he felt a headbutt striking him in the chest, taking all of his air out of his lungs and making him go into the same situation as his compatriot.

Felix appeared in front of them as they both glared at him trying to remove themselves from the ground only to grimace in pain, their spikes were stuck into the ground and if they tried to forcefully remove them it would lead to immense pain, shedding them naturally wouldn't have this effect but it wasn't the shedding time yet!

Felix looked at them and wondered how would he be able to make them open the wall?

He wasn't sure what could he do to make them crack under pressure, should he do as Landers?

Felix gritted his teeth as he continued to contemplate for a few seconds, he knew that Willy's sealing spell wouldn't last a long time so he had to work fast!

His claws popped out of his paws as he glared at the downed duo and whispered directly into their ears, even though he looked like a cute floof ball now that he had reduced in size, his current appearance made the two hedgehogs sweet internally, how could such a cute being have such a dark soul? They thought.

His whispers told them that the cat wanted for them to open the walls which were direct disobedience of their orders, they would be punished but not killed, and considering they were a new generation of guards they wouldn't be punished too harshly, but there was also the fact that the opening of the wall meant that they would be invaded.

The two hedgehogs were in a dilemma as they saw Felix's claws slowly reaching towards their necks but he didn't swipe, he slowly started to make a slight nick there as drops of blood started to drip onto the ground below.

A soundless scream left the mouth of the hedgehog duo, the pain was somewhat more intense than they thought it would be, they actually felt their throats drying up for some reason as the blood slowly dripped from their necks.

This was a type of torture that Felix had learned watching Landers, he created a small incision with his claw at the middle of the enemy's neck letting them lose blood and dry their throat at the same time, with the relatively strong bodies of the adult hedgehogs they wouldn't die due to such a small incision, of course, if it was widened even a little bit more they would surely bleed to death.

This was a torture method that was based on complete control of one's strength and precision.

Felix watched on coldly as the duo's life force dropped to the ground in front of him and their eyes slowly started to slacken as their oxygen was also slowly depleted at the same time.

He took out two small red pills from his special bag as he fluttered them above the faces of the two hedgehogs while mouthing:

"This is medicine, do what I want and you can have it!"

The duo felt something snap inside of them as they saw the medicine being fluttered in their faces while they slowly bleed onto the ground below them, they wanted to get up but they were slowly weakening due to the blood loss while also being stuck due to their spikes being implanted into the ground.

If they were at full power they would have been able to struggle and after some time get out of their embarrassing position but currently, they were continuously weakening so there was no chance they would be able to do that.

The duo felt their lives flashing in front of their eyes as they saw Felix continuing to flutter the medicine in front of their faces, they gritted their teeth weakly as they nodded at Felix showing their indication that they wanted to cooperate.

Felix smiled at them as he crushed the pills and made the duo snort them, the cut on their necks quickly healed as they tried to shout only to realize that their voices were still sealed.

Felix waved his paw at them in a negative manner as he said:

"No no no, you don't get to talk yet, open up the wall in front of us first."

The duo tried to point towards their backs indicating that they needed to be free if he wanted them to open the wall only for Felix's eyes to narrow as he said:

"Don't try to fool me, I know you can control the walls with your thoughts alone, now open up before I decide to find some other guardians!"

The duo was supposed to endure but every intelligent being would have a fight or flight response in situations like these, they would either fight to the end with the being that was threatening their lives or cave into the pressure of the upcoming death and flee away, in this situation where the duo couldn't flee they decided to give up and do what Felix wanted them to.

They closed their eyes as an invisible power seeped out of their beings, the spike wall in front of them slowly started to shake and create an opening as Landers and the troops slowly started to rush in but making sure they didn't touch any of the spikes.

The duo wanted to close the wall to trap the enemy troops between it but Felix was above them smiling dangerously at them as his claws slowly inched towards their necks again, but now they could feel his killing intent directly on their heads.

Unfortunately for them their nefarious plan was easily seen through by Felix and stopped by his ingenious murderous paws.

One step after another Landers and the troops slipped their way through the wall and arrived at the inner place of the hedgehogs, unfortunately, due to the commotion of the wall opening up any chances for an ambush had been discarded.

The hedgehog army started to gather to counter-attack the invaders as they realized that something wasn't right the moment the wall started to shake, every hedgehog had a big snail in their arms as they pointed its back ends towards Felix and the others.

The hedgehogs numbered 400,000 in total and each had their own snail in their arms meaning that the total number of enemies was 800,000!

However Landers wasn't necessarily scared of the number difference as he took the front of the army and started to power up, trying to get the whole focus on him, he was now at full power and fully rested, ready to rumble!

Lindo motioned for Manitola to jump on his back as he was ready to activate his advanced killing intent detection and start running among the hedgehog troops.

Felix slowly disappeared as he entered his stealth mode ready to attack at a moment's notice, the troops took out hextech canons as they aimed towards their enemies while the ones that didn't have them became ready for a melee brawl.

The guardian duo was also kidnapped and taken as prisoners before being placed at the back of the army still reinserted into the ground after they were recovered and tied up.

Landers put his arm down as he initiated another conquering war!

The snail's rear ends started to spew purple-colored gas that slowly started to disseminate into the air the moment Landers did his arm gesture.

Landers knew about the snail's poisonous abilities so he made his troops retreat only to realize that the wall behind them was slowly closing in!

If they left now there was no chance they would be able to enter again but if they remained who knew what kind of poison they would encounter? Manitola did say that it was highly acidic poison which meant their bodies would be burned.

Landers immediately gave out the command:

"Take out and don the new black iron armors, this is an emergency!"
