Chapter 1109.8: Representation War (Part 8)
"Let's wait patiently…" Stencil said, intending to camp at the place until the Unlucky Tower of Ruin absorbed all of Compass Carburettor's strength. Since he was a Concept Representative, it would take a lot of time before his concept itself is dissolved and absorbed by the tower. She hadn't even finished her sentence when the tower shrunk rapidly.
The trio felt instinctively that the tower they had created through the fusion activation of three Core Skill Manifestations had slipped out of their control.
Followed by a flicker, the figure of Compass Carburettor appeared as he held a tiny tower in his hand and caressed it lovingly, "Such a marvel this is. An object with laws stronger than a well-developed world."
He calmly stared at Rhizen, "Can you make another tower for me? I need to add it to my collection. You needn't worry though, I will pay you handsomely for your labour."
"You…" Rhizen frowned, feeling an eerie sense of creepiness, "Who are you?"
"Guess?" Compass Carburettor's boots flashed once as he appeared behind Rhizen and calmly tapped the latter on the head with the tower.
"Ack!" Rhizen screamed as if all the nerves in his body were convulsing while the blood had reversed its flow direction. All his luck values screamed in a fluster before they surged out of his body and seeped into the Unlucky Tower of Ruin.
"You know," Compass Carburettor spoke calmly as he erected an energy blade sphere that covered him and Rhizen, tanking Stencil and Gehera's attacks, "When you unleash your Core Skill Manifestation, you're supposed to be inside it to be amplified by its power. Otherwise, no matter how potent its effects are, they can be taken advantage of."
"Especially by me." With that, his Lore and Tell-Tale activated at full strength and gushed out of the tower in the form of chains that wrapped around Rhizen and pulled his body into the tower, sealing him there.
Rhizen's luck activated as it affected cause and effect, intending to free Rhizen. But strangely, despite a change in cause and effect, Compass Carburettor remained the exact same. There was no change in his stance or condition.
Moreover, the chains he created out of Lore and Tell-Tale were unaffected. Only Stencil and Gehera seemed to be affected by it as they returned to their original position, one before Compass Carburettor broke free of the tower.
The reason Compass Carburettor was unaffected was simple. His weight in the multiverse was greater than what the level of cause and effect induced by Rhizen's luck could change. It would be a different case if he was at the peak of Grade 3, but as Rhizen was merely at level 222, his abilities weren't potent enough.
Moreover, by possessing the Unlucky Tower of Ruin, Compass Carburettor had direct access to the laws that formed the Core Skills of the trio of Rhizen, Stencil, and Gehera.
Once she returned to her prior position, Stencil snapped to her senses, turning around in a hurry as she activated a bunch of Skills, bombarding the energy blade sphere, "Compass Carburettor!"
"Yes, that's my name." Compass Carburettor smiled as he touched the energy blade sphere with the glove on his right hand, seeping its energy into the sphere. A moment later, hundreds of spikes jutted out of the sphere and pierced through Stencil and Gehera.
Their defensive Skills shattered like brittle glass as blood leaked out of the areas that had been stabbed.
As the two ladies screamed in pain, a pair of hands elongated from the sphere and grabbed them by the neck. At the moment of contact, their planet-shaped bodies reverted to human form, for they had been turned into mortals.
Chains wrapped around them as they were pulled closer to Compass Carburettor who stared at them in mockery, "You dare face me without condensing the entirety of your bodies?"
"Y-You…would you really harm me?" Stencil stared at Compass Carburettor in disbelief, "Wasn't I the reason for your fight? Can you really bear to injure me?"
"Why not? We aren't even related." Compass Carburettor said as he kicked them into the Unlucky Tower of Ruin, watching power leak out of their bodies and fill up the tower with monsters.
"It's a pity their entire body wasn't here." Muttering as such, Compass Carburettor grinned in excitement, "Since I've come out for the first time, shall I explore the place a bit?"
"Don't lose sight of the goal." A voice resounded in his mind. It was from the original Compass Carburettor.
"I know, isn't that why I came out?" The experience in control snorted as Compass Carburettor kicked his boots, vanishing from the place.
Arriving at a random void, he stared at Dita and pointed at the tower, "Get in and have fun."
"Do I get to eat them all?" Dita asked, drooling a little.
"They are all yours." Compass Carburettor smiled, "I'll be feeding you even more next. So, be ready to eat that too."
"Okay!" Smiling cutely, Dita entered the Unlucky Tower of Ruin and engaged in a feast of all the monsters.
Compass Carburettor kicked the boots into the void and vanished, appearing on a tournament platform where a Third Circle Magician was facing a Fifth Circle Magician, called a genius of the century.
Shockingly, the Third Circle Magician was gradually winning against the genius.
"Fire Storm…" The Third Circle Magician shouted and unleashed a sea of flames when suddenly, they evaporated like mist. Ethereal chains appeared out of thin air and wrapped around his body.
Immediately, the System Fragment within his body intended to flee but was constricted. As it struggled, the chains dug deeper into the magician's body as a mysterious power congregated in him.
Slowly, a System Fragment formed in his stomach, following which he vomited it out. The fusion had been undone.
The System Fragment shrieked in panic and intended to return to the System World, causing the timeline of the world to pause for three seconds.
Unfortunately for it, the chains weren't bothered. They dragged the System Fragment fiercely and pulled it into the Unlucky Tower of Ruin.
"One Fate System Fragment obtained, many more to go." Compass Carburettor muttered, raising his hand to catch hold of the System Punishment that befell him for uttering about Systems.
He stared at it and felt hungry, for a moment considering before he slurped it like noodles, sucking System Punishment endlessly from the world until the Astral Network there destabilised and collapsed.
The ethereal chains captured all the fragments and pulled them into the tower where Dita was having the feast of a lifetime.
