“That’s it? The second young master of Heavenly Punishment just said a few harsh words and left?”

“What else do you want? This Kota isn’t someone Drizzt can mess with. He’ll definitely go back and report to the elders in his family.”

Imperial Group? Just how terrifying was it? Just Kota alone was enough to cause such chaos in New York.

Despite the feuds of the big families, the unspeakable things that Kota said when he first came out were enough to cause an earthquake in New York.

By the time everyone was gone, Kota and Catherine were ready to leave.

After ordering his men to dispose of Coster’s body, the two walked to the backstage. Kota subconsciously looked for Sikal, but there was no sign of her.

This woman was interesting.

Immediately after, everyone who left the scene began to contact their connections in Washington, asking for all the information about Imperial Group.

This was within Kota’s expectations, but they could find nothing.

Fael frowned as he had got none constructive suggestions.

At this moment, at the end of the round table in the meeting room, a young man adjusted his glasses and stood up.

“I have an idea. We can hire an assassin.”

“Are you crazy? We still don’t know who is behind him. If something goes wrong, wouldn’t we be digging our own grave?”

Fael put away his worried expression and slammed the table hard. “Shut up, all of you!”

Everyone shut up at once.

“Cheng, you may continue.”

The young man had a sly smile on his face.

“It might be risky, but it works in Yan’s best interest.”

“As Mr. Fael said, Ying has got breathing space and will definitely come for Yan Group.”

“Instead of being overly cautious and intimidated by an unknown character called Kota, it is better to get rid of him at once.”

Everyone thought it made sense.

Cheng got the response he wanted and continued. “If Kota is murdered in New York, everyone will think that it was Heavenly Punishment who did it. Heavenly Punishment and Imperial group will fight each other. By diverting everyone’s attention, we can take the opportunity to annex Ying.”

“The better outcome will be for Heavenly Punishment to lose the fight and it will be our chance to break up Heavenly Punishment.”

This young man had impressed Fael with just a few words.

Although Cheng was only his distant nephew and was only responsible for some unimportant businesses in the group, he had impressed Fael with his shrewdness.

First, this plan would put Yan on an unassailable footing.

Second, there was a high possibility of Yan becoming the top corporation in New York.

After thinking about it, Fael stood up and said to Cheng, “I’ll leave this matter to you.”

Cheng nodded in front of the elders, his smug expression disgusting them.

“Brother, are you really not going to target Ying first?”

In Naka’s office, the agitated Drizzt provoked his brother.

Naka put his feet on the desk, lit a cigarette, and smoked slowly.

“It’s impossible for Ying to rise in a short period.”

“Getting rid of them in New York is as easy as crushing an ant.”

“But I’ve never heard of Imperial Group, though.”

As the successor of the family, he was naturally involved in a lot of business dealings with Washington.

He had interacted with all the major corporations in Washington, but he had never heard of someone by the surname of Smith.

During the meeting, the elders’ opinion was to find out who Imperial Group was first. They would resort to covert operation if they couldn’t do it openly.

“Drizzt, use all your resources to investigate Imperial Group.”

“Brother, what about Catherine?”

“She’s just a plaything. Eventually, she’ll be under my son’s control.”

“It is your call, Brother.”

After saying that, Drizzt left the office with a satisfied answer.

He had provoked Naka and even the entire Heavenly Punishment to shift their attention to Kota.

Then, they would use Kota to weaken his brother’s influence in the family. With him as an insider, Naka would definitely lose the family’s trust.
