Those were the last words from Yang Zi's mind before she finally accepted her fate. A stray tear fell from her eyes but she didn't want to continue crying. That's why she bit her lips once again while focusing on gathering all her Cores and fusing them into one Core.

Even a beginner cultivator would be able to tell that what she was about to do was simply suicide. After all, fusing your Cores together is not something a cultivator should be doing. The scene resembled a worldwide cleansing as the explosion purified the world from the evilness that is the rabid humans. Such things as stones, trees, sand, and plants were cleansed along with the rabid humans as well. There was nothing left.

And when the whiteness cleared up, there was nothing left of the planet itself. It's as if it was swallowed by a black hole and disappeared without leaving a trace. That explosion was not a joke, honestly. It literally wiped out the whole planet, along with the rabid humans that were once humans.

"Yongrui," Hui-ying trailed off.

This was the first time she spoke to me ever since we got here and I flinched in surprise. "W-what? Are you all right? Your voice sounds a bit hoarse."

"What do you remember?" I asked, still clueless as to why she was speaking as if she lost someone important in her life. Was she crying? Was she bawling her eyes out while we watched the heart-rending story about Yang Zi? Well, if it were me, I would've cried as well. The only reason why I didn't was that I was distracted by the amount of power output behind that intense explosion. I was left speechless.

"Everything. The reason why I'm in your mind, the reason why the System is still with me... and the reason why you were chosen as a vessel." Hui-ying continued. "I know this may be a little bit too much for you, Yongrui, but please hear me out."

"Yes. In all honesty, you're not making any sense right now, Hui-ying. What do you mean the reason behind you invading my mind? And what do you mean by I was chosen as a vessel? Am I some sort of important being?" I asked.

I mean, I pretty much know what vessel means, and when it comes to someone mentioning it, the person being referred to is usually someone powerful or special. Hence, as a vessel, I should be a great figure, right?
