Qian Shi shrugged casually "Who knows?"

Artoria smiled slightly upon hearing her words "I am sure you know about that... Sister Shi."

Qian Shi shook her head like a little child.

"Hahaha..." Letting out a chuckle, Artoria glanced at Qian Shi from top to bottom and saw the pants and shirt she was wearing.

"And the clothes you are wearing... Sister Shi. It looks similar to the ones that belong to Tian's star."

Qian Shi just smiled and asked in a playful tone. "So how was it? Hm? Your meeting with Tian? He must have been so surprised by your sudden entry."

Artoria couldn't help but chuckle and replied, "Yeah... he was so cute and I just wanted to spoil him."

Keeping her smile, Qian Shi asked "And... did you give the ark to him?"

With a reluctant nod, Artoria hesitated before speaking, her voice shaky. "Yes... I gave him the ark, just like you told me to. But now... I can't shake this feeling like I might've done something I shouldn't have."

Qian Shi's gaze narrowed upon hearing this and her voice which was playful till now took a sharp tone "Artoria, tell me what happened."

Artoria became nervous hearing her serious tone but she knew that she shouldn't hide any things from Qian Shi and play with the route of destiny.

So she decided to be honest.

"I was doing everything as you told, Sister Shi... I was with him intimidating Zarek Talon, so Tian could get a deal that is advantageous for his star."

Her eyes wandered around as she feared to gaze into Qian Shi's eyes and muttered...

"T-Then I brought him back to the ark, thinking it would be a good opportunity to offer him some tea, some cake… to make everything feel natural, you know? I thought it'd ease him into accepting the ark."

She lowered her head even further, her voice barely above a whisper as she continued, "But… but he started getting suspicious of me, like he could sense something was off. And in spite of the moment, I… I said something I shouldn't have."

Huh? The frown on Qian Shi's face deepened and feeling the cold glare, Artoria's body shivered in fear.

"S-Sister Shi...." Trembling in fear, Artoria stood up from the bed and gulped down her saliva.

She shrank under her gaze, fear curling tightly around her heart and she instinctively took a step back.

Cold words escaped Qian Shi's lips, her golden eyes gazing into Artoria Evelyne's purple eyes "Artoria... listen to me."

Even though they are almost friendly, Artoria clearly knows the power this woman, Qian Shi, holds.

Everyone in the Astral realm is below Jiu Yang, but even that Jiu Yang can't make her obey him and she is unbound by any rules and restrictions.
