Human King

Chapter 83: Defeat (5)

Chapter 83: Defeat (5)

When Dawn heard the voice, he stopped running and stood still on the ground.

No, he bent his knees while covering his head with his hands filled with Aura.

Swoosh!

Dawn didn't take a look at what happened above his head as he immediately rolled on the ground.

Why?

Boom!

It was because of the force that he felt coming from above to strike him while he was staying in that position.

When Dawn whipped his head back to look, he saw a fist clouded in some sort of power that Dawn didn't know.

Although Dawn was very curious about that power, he didn't look at it for more than a second.

He immediately stood up and jumped towards a tree to continue his escape.

However...

"Sword Light!" Gaize shouted as he cut off Dawn's path.

As he intended, Dawn stopped when Dawn saw the Sword Light that would cut him down if ever he continued running.

However, that doesn't mean Dawn would stop running.

He quickly looked for another way to run. He looked at the forest, and he didn't think twice; he immediately entered the forest to run away.

Of course, he kept in mind the general direction to where he was going.

If he just ran randomly, no matter how much his legs worked, he wouldn't survive by the end of the day.

However, his enemies weren't a fool to be trifled with. They were already cutting his escape routes one by one by fighting him one at a time.

And that was why after running for a few seconds, Dawn was quickly met by another enemy.

"Iya! You're good! To think you could escape our hunt so many times!" The man spoke before proceeding to slash at Dawn with his sword.

It was much like the Sword Light which Dawn saw before, but it wasn't.

When Dawn dodged, the man's sword kept cutting the trees near them.

Dawn looked at that and imagined getting hit by it, but he didn't stand still as he felt another presence creeping on him.

"Fast!" Dawn spoke a word before dodging by bending his body to the front.

When his eyes looked back a little, he could see a kick flying through the air that would have hit Dawn if he didn't dodge.

However, Dawn didn't pay any attention to it any longer as he immediately brought his hands to the ground to steady himself.

Swossh!

He pushed up and regained his standing to run when a short sword was about to cut his legs.

However, because of Dawn's fast reflexes, he was able to dodge faster than the short sword could cut him up.

The exchange time was very short as the goblin and the four men were moving at speed unimaginable for any ordinary human or even for a goblin.

And as the four men tried to trap the white goblin into a death trap, they made a mess out of the forest.

The path where they just passed was turned into a hellish hell!

If one looked at this scene, one wouldn't think of this as part of the forest. Fire, cuts, craters...anything that seems to have come from a rampage exists here.

Boom!

Another explosion resounded out as one of the four men tried destroying Dawn with a fancy attack.

Dawn escaped by jumping into a tree. However, he didn't escape unscathed.

His back was literally full of small wounds, and his whole body was turning blood red from his injuries.

Of course, that would be the case. After all, even though he was dodging them in time, he was still getting shallow wounds.

And those shallow wounds accumulated over time as they ran and ran.

"Gaize!" One of the men shouted towards Gaize, who was currently releasing sword strikes towards Dawn.

When Gaize looked at him, the man nodded his head, and the man immediately started running up a tree.

He then jumped in the air as he spread his arms wide.

When Dawn looked up, he saw that the man was aiming not for him but for the trees around him.

However, Dawn couldn't stay to look as another man started to rain down sword attacks at him.

Swossh!

He defended while running, but it was clear that he was slowing down.

After all, he was fighting four strong men at the same time. No, they were even taking turns at fighting Dawn just to make sure they would get to kill him.

In fact, Dawn could survive until now because of the fact that he was a goblin.

A goblin's instincts when it comes to the forest are unsurpassable.

Even the humans with their calculative mind can't beat the base knowledge, or rather, instincts that the goblins have.

However, a normal goblin couldn't have survived this type of hunt done by the Warmen.

That was why the four men knew that Dawn was special.

And with that in mind, they put all their strength into hunting this one goblin.

"Arteria!" The man in the sky shouted as his body glowed ominously.

His sword...no, is it even a sword now?

His sword was getting bigger than before. No, it was his mana that was getting compressed into his sword.

And the amount of the mana inside that sword wasn't little. And this fact made Dawn stop running.

Even the man's comrades stopped when they saw the man getting ready to strike.

Goblin and the Warman alike did the same thing when the man brought the sword down.

They covered their bodies in whatever powers they have and braced themselves for the impact to come.

That was how powerful the sword was.

"Destroy everything in this place! The Heaven's Sword!" The man shouted as his eyes glowed while his hands moved to bring the sword down.

Swooooshhh!!!

And Dawn, who was watching from the side, was amazed. No, he was mesmerized by the man's strength.

He just watched the sword fall to the ground with a smile on his face. After all, that was what he wanted to do, as well.

"This guy is..."

Powerful! Dawn thought. However, he soon focused on defending himself.

It was because the sword was about to make contact with the land...

---Wait, land?

It was then.

BOOM!!

Before Dawn could finish his thoughts about it, a loud explosion resounded out in the area.

Dawn just focused on defending himself when he felt the force trying to cut his skin.

His bones and muscles were feeling pressured, and he could feel his heart beat faster than ever.

"Kuhhh!!" A moan of weakness escaped Dawn's mouth, and with it, a flow of blood came out.

He didn't even see what was happening outside of his body. He just felt it. That whatever hit the ground could kill Dawn too.

The Aura that he used in defending himself could be categorized as Great Force now.

That was how intense the attack is.

That was how much Aura Dawn needed to defend against the attack.

Thud! Thud!

The sound of something falling to the ground could be heard, and this made Dawn look up in the sky.

After all, he also felt that the pressure attacking him was now gone. The pain was also gone, and he quickly recovered when he let Aura flow in his muscles.

However...

"What..."

Dawn exclaimed when he saw the scene in front of him.

The forest that was full of trees was now gone; a huge crater replaced it in the middle of nowhere.

That was still normal for Dawn. After all, if he focused his strength, he could probably do that.

What made Dawn widen his eyes was the sky.

"It parted...?" Dawn said meekly as he observed the sky.

The sky was...parted. No, the clouds that were swimming through the air was now in two parts.

The left side and the right side, and what's more, Dawn couldn't see the end of the clouds that have been parted.

And Dawn, who was straight from the woods, was flabbergasted by this. After all, this was the first time he has seen such an event.

However...

"You can't escape now." The man who did the strike said as he floated down.

He landed swiftly, but he staggered slightly as he used his full power.

"No trees, no obstacles, no forest...how long do you think you could escape from us?"

His comrades who were defending themselves from the strike soon showed up with a smile on their face.

"I didn't expect this piece of shit would give us so much trouble." Gaize stated as he smirked.

His face was truly the definition of smug as he looked down at Dawn.

"Huuuu." A sigh escaped Dawn's lips.

Although he knew that the men in front of him were stronger than him, he didn't expect that they would destroy a part of the forest just to corner him.

The crater formed by the strike was huge, and Dawn couldn't escape from it just by running half-heartedly.

He would have to run at full speed with no distraction just to escape from this hellhole that the man created.

Even for Dawn, who loves to battle like a madman, the situation right now was bad.

"Huuuuu." Once more, a sigh escaped his lips.

He moved his hands to take a posture suited for battle. His pressure was increasing, and his eyes were showing a fierce fire as he resolved himself.

He resolved himself for the death that would come.

He shouted as he focused himself like a sharp blade.

"Come! I'll take you on!"

The deathmatch between the white goblin and Warmen was just getting started.
