Chapter 7: Rebecca
Chapter 7: Rebecca
"Roar!"
Panther's enraged voice sounded, making Ayaan's heart shudder in fear. He looked at the beast dashing towards him. His entire body turned icy from fear. Nonetheless, he wasn't stupid enough to confront the creature, trying to fight with it head-on would be the death of him.
The difference in strength was too big, Ayaan couldn't see the strength of the beast, showing the unfathomable strength of the panther.
Realising beast's strength was out of ordinary, Ayaan didn't dwell before escaping in another direction frantically. However, before he could run away, the panther dashed, reaching behind him in a matter of seconds. Following that, a piercing pain appeared on his back, making him scream.
"Boom!"
Ayaan's body flew in the air, flipping a few times before he fell on ground miserably.
"Thud!"
A substantial bloody scar appeared on his back. He landed on the ground while his body slid a few metres before stopping. However, before he could react, another attack arrived.
"Boom!"
Rupturing pain Ayaan felt wasn't something anyone could take. He felt as if his body would break into pieces in another second.
Fuck! Who knew the previous panther was hiding such a powerful husband in the bushes! He thought.
Subsequently, he looked towards the panther, walking towards him with a slow pace as if strolling in the garden.
The panther looked at him, curling its mouth into a weird angle. Fucking beast!! Dare to mock me! However, he couldn't do anything other than cursing.
It stood up in front of Ayaan, looking down at him. He looked at the beast, then cursed, "Fuck!"
The intelligence of the panther was high. It understood that Ayaan was cursing him, roaring frantically.
'Roar!'
The panther couldn't speak with his intelligence, but Ayaan could. What does this mean? Only beasts with a pure bloodline could speak human language.
However, it didn't know that Ayaan was a demon. Although he looked like a cute dog and anyone would think he was just an ordinary beast, demons had originated from hell, making them far superior to other beasts.
Ayaan himself didn't know about this yet. He had just thought demons and beasts were the same with different names.
Thereupon, the beast looked at him with its deep-red-set of eyes before swinging its claw towards the little dogs' head.
Ayaan opened his eyes wide in terror, murmuring, 'Looks like Noor won't be able to take my virginity in this life.'
Birdy heard him murmuring and cursed loudly, "What the fuck!"
"Roar!"
Ayaan didn't have any time to bicker with her because a dark claw was already only a few inches away from his, shuddering his body in dread.
'Whoosh!'
'Puchi!'
Before the claw could split his head into pieces, it froze. Blood gushed out from the black panther's mouth like a fountain, covering Ayaan's body in the blood.
Looking at the panther in bewilderment, Ayaan saw its body lying a few meters away, lifeless. An arrow had pierced in its neck, more than half the arrow went through the neck, understanding the situation immediately.
Ayaan searched around, finding four to five people coming out of the bushes. Trying to stand on his small legs, but fell on the ground, feeling dizzy due to blood loss. After that, he didn't move and remained where he was lying.
"Haha! Did you see my one-shot kill!" A man in the group's front said excitedly. He was carrying a longbow on his back, walking with a fast pace towards the frame of the beast.
"Wow! This panther is so big!" another girl exclaimed, seeing the enormous body of the panther.
As they reached the panther, everyone excitedly searched its body.
The two boys in the group skinned the panther skilfully, retrieving the skin, claws, and fangs of the panther.
When they were about to move, a girl standing silently this entire time suddenly frowned and turned towards Ayaan. She had long black hair, blue eyes, and snow-white skin. Her white robe was fluttering in the wind, giving her the look of the celestial beauty. Sensing something in the bushes, she walked towards it.
'Fuck!' Ayaan cursed, seeing the approaching lady.
"How cute!"
When despair had clouded his mind, an exclamation resounded. Seeing the cute dog lying on the ground, the lady dashed towards it.
After arriving in front of the dog, she realised that the dog had injuries all over its body, blood had already dried on its body. She took the dog in her hands carefully, like a newborn baby.
Watching the reaction of the lady, Ayaan laughed, 'Hehe, how can I forget about this cute body of mine? No girl can resist it.'
She looked at his small and injured body before murmuring, "It looks like that panther injured this pitiful dog."
"Wow! What a cute little dog! I have never seen a dog this cute and fluffy." when the girl who was looking like a celestial beauty was checking the dog, Suzi exclaimed.
The group of three looked with curious eyes and examined the dog's condition with Rebecca. Ayaan could barely stay awake, but slowly, his eyes were losing brightness, and the surrounding was turning into a blur.
"Alright, it's enough, we can't treat it here. I don't have any healing pills left. Let's go to the city first." The girl named Rebecca said. A guy tried to say something, but the other man stopped him.
Noticing the boy's reaction, Rebecca said with an emotionless face, "If anyone wants to continue their hunt, do it. No one is forcing you to come with me."
Hearing her reply, the boy turned red in embarrassment but said nothing. No one uttered a single complaint. It looks like the position of this girl wasn't any ordinary.
Finally, Ayaan realised that his life wasn't in danger and closed his eyes, falling into a deep slumber.
After that, they packed their stuff; they got from the panther and walked away. Half an hour later, the group reached the 'Sun City'.
At the entrance gate, the guards were standing, checking the people who wanted to enter or exit the city. As the group of four reached, every guard at the entrance immediately greeted them.
Everyone knew this treatment was only for Rebecca. Suzi saw this, and jealousy flooded out from her eyes but didn't let anyone see it, hiding every emotion.
Rebecca nodded towards the guards and walked towards the entrance.
"Did you see that miss Rebecca nodded towards me?"
"Heh? See your face in the mirror before talking bullshit! She nodded toward me."
"Fuck you! An ugly toad dared to say something about my handsome face!"
"Shut up!" when two guards were fighting with each other, an angry voice sounded behind them. Both of them looked towards the man before saluting, "Captain!"
Captain looked at them, shaking his head, "How can delusional people like you exist in this world? You fool, she was nodding towards me."
Both the guards looked at him with a disdainful expression but didn't dare to utter a word. They weren't stupid enough to argue with a captain.
Rebecca arrived in front of a vast palace. The other members of her group had already gone their separate ways. When the guard saw her, he called out loudly, "Lady Rebecca has returned!"
Without replying, she went through the gates. Everyone greeted her warmly, but she didn't bother to reply. Later, she arrived in front of the study room and walked inside with no prior warning.
Inside the room was a middle-aged man who was sitting on a wooden chair while writing something on a parchment.
Man's brows twitched, realising that someone entered his study room without permission. An angry expression appeared on his face. However, when he saw the visitor's face, all anger dissipated, and a respectful expression appeared, "Lady Rebe..."
"Uncle, I told you many times; call me Rebecca." Before a man could finish his sentence, she interrupted him then continued, "Can you please give me some healing pills? Mine had finished a few days ago, and I didn't have the time to purchase them again."
A middle-aged man looked towards her in surprise. She had never asked him anything before. It was her first time asking something.
"Oh, it's an inconsiderable matter." Flipping his hand, a small pouch appeared and passed it to Rebecca.
After taking the pills, she didn't dwell any longer and walked out of the study room, leaving only a pondering middle-aged man. No one knew what was on his mind.
After that, Rebecca arrived in her living room. She fed two pills to Ayaan. Finally, leaving him to rest at the corner of the room.
After a minute later, his wounds healed with a visible speed. In just five minutes of a short time, all scars from his body disappeared.
Ayaan remained on the ground, sleeping without care of the world while Rebecca went to do her work.
